- Gopi (8/5): - The location is great. The new rooms are good. It offers a good wilderness experience. The location is next to forest and approach is little tricky and narrow roads. Roads get muddy during rainy season. Possible avoid going by sedan cars. Nothing much, few small issues as this is a remote location.

- Gayatri (9/5): Lovely stay in the wilderness - Everything was great at whispering willows! Homely food, the hospitable staff, cute cats, and of course the access to forest itself. Special thanks to Akhil, Bipin and Sabari for taking care of us so well.
We would love to visit again. I wouldn’t say it’s a minus, but the con comes with the wilderness. Considering the location is at a coffee plantation, close to forest, the road to reach the place is tricky, a bit off-road.

- Ralli (7/5): Good - The resort is almost inside Mudumalai forest and you get to experience the jungle up close. Service is personal & good. Food is clean & home cooked. Approach to the resort is difficult. Drive to the resort only if you have 4 wheel drive.
- Oliver (6/5): Beautiful Coffee Plantation Stay - Amazing location. Easy to find if you follow google maps, just a bit of a way off the beaten track!
Lovely food prepared at each meal time and the staff were lovely! Nothing to note!

- Immanuel (9/5): Close to nature - A very nice place for a vacation with a group of people.
You can have Sightings of some wild animals The location was good but a certain part of the road (nearly 1.5km) is really worst and not a single hoarding was found while entering the property so it created a lot confusion while navigating to the location

- Rameshkumar (9/5): Superb - Nice Location, Staffs are really care and good. and Food also decent and good. Way to reach resort is little tricky, if you're experience driver you can manage. but for me as a newbie, I felt lot of roads are very steep. so becareful with your driving.
Rooms are very clean, but I'm got itches while in bed not sure why.
- Tilak (8/5): Very good -
- Vettathu (8/5): A good place for a mood change - Location was amazing... Its a plantation property.
Rooms are neat and clean...
North indian staffs are very friendly and dedicated with customers. Breakfast is satisfactory.. Not getting a professional aproch on documentation(billing, booking etc)
Route is bit offroad (some peoples will like)
Local staff behavior is not suites for aproch customers.
- Shoba (1/5): Bad - The place is located very interior and over priced and toilets are so damn small. No place to stand and bath also The food organiser was a cheated. We told we wil not be coming for breakfast he didn't keep the breakfast nor reduced amount nor helped us for lunch. He just said on the checkout day we won't provide lunch and also can arrange for one.
- Sounak (9/5): Rare find, and would love to come back again! - Absolutely loved every aspect of my stay here. The rooms, bathrooms, public spaces (and really, the entire property) was extremely clean, manicured, and well maintained. The location is secluded, and comes with the perk of being situated inside a very large and green plantation, with a very pretty and scenic view of the surrounding hill. The staff was extremely polite and helpful, and were very accommodating of our requests. There was a constant supply of hot water, and they supplied all the required toiletries. I was able to use uninterrupted wifi, and get work done. The food served was very homely, tasty, and healthy. There's a lot of open spaces across the property where you can just draw up some chairs and tables, and relax with your co-travellers. One can also walk the long trail surrounding the entire property, which is filled with coffee, areca nut, and banana plantations, to soak in the greenery of the property. In general, everything in this property came very reasonably priced, and in general, I'd love to come back again and again. As a bonus, we also got to hang out with Ginger, their resident beagle. My only (small) complaint, is that with larger crowds, and given their limited staff, their service gets a little strained, due to which they take a little longer than usual to serve food, or address other requests. This is hardly a dealbreaker for me, and can be easily planned around. For those looking for quick commutes to and from touristy destinations, this might be a little off grid for you, given that the approach road takes a little while to navigate. Other than that, nothing I did not like.
- Santosh (10/5): Exceptional - Everything, hospitality, location, food, rooms all were exceptional
- Bernhardus (7/5): Good - Beautifully surroundings and wonderful staff.
The bonfires in the evening were nice for the community feel. So we met a lot of nice people. In our opinion their transport was over the top expensive. Because of the remote area it was not possible to arrange our own taxi. What we missed is a price list so you know what to expect. So also the estimate they gave for the food was way off. It was not so expensive but I would like to have an overview of the costs we make at fore hand.
We stayed a day longer. Asked for the costs. Didn't get a straight answer. Don't worry, it will be cheaper than before. That's not the point. I want a straight answer.
It isn't that hard to make a price list, is it?
- Rohit (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rupayan (10/5): Absolutely beautiful stay in the middle of the forest - Location
Hospitality
Staff Behaviour
Service
Cleanliness
Food Lighting inside the room could be better
Single mattresses could be replaced by a queen sized mattress.
- Mrinal (9/5): Superb - Good clean place. Approch road is bad .. that is the only down side.
- Nagaranjini (9/5): Superb -
- Juha (8/5): Very good -
- Sathish (9/5): Superb - Private location and peaceful stay and the tasty food provided by them. Provided room space was little congested. Apart from that everything was excellent
- Sreenath (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hyma (8/5): Very good -
- Praveen (2/5): We planned for an extended 2 day stay but we had o leave the place and look for better alternatives - The location was good as it's within the forest range closeer to the wildlife but bit scared as the fences were not maintained properly and were broken. Communication was very poor
As it is on the remote side. One needs to pre order the food well in advance . Hotel staffs do not mention this until we ask them explicitly and even then there is no clarity on the menu on what can be prepared by them for dinner/lunch.
The quality of the prepared food is ok but the charges are very high. There is no clarity on what's included for the price - what's unlimited servings and what is not.. they keep mentioning that guests are priority and they want to make sure the guests are satisfied with the dinner prepared however on the next day morning everything changes upside down for the breakfast . It is mentioned as complementary and in every hotel the complementary breakfast comes with unlimited servings per person .
But here the second serving is charged. All those words spoken during the heavily charged dinner will vanish into thin air
hence better ask for the prices upfront for second serving else be prepared for a ripoff .
Infact The coffee in breakfast is also charged . these details will not be communicated in advance.
You will get to know only during checkout.
Hence better ask what is included and what is not included upfront before booking!
The water heaters were not switched on... Even after repeated complaining they were not switched on. And Couple of us had to take bath in cold water.
- Arjun (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sreejith (8/5): Very good - Support from the staff were appreciable . Babu and his team ( special mention to the kitchen staff ) did their job with excellent rating . Nice stay ambience . Good food. Do not follow google maps ( little outskirts ) . Else , plz ready for polishing your scratched 🚗 body.
Dogs were barking over night.. disturbing the sleep.
Kids play area was missing .
- Shwetha (6/5): Pleasant - Breakfast was ok not that great not many options. Simple home cooked food. Rooms were clean. Staff members are ok. The place is surrounded by Greenery away from City Life. The commute to the place is very bad we literally had scratches on the car the roads are narrow not pitched. Not much of activities to do. I feel it's a little expensive for the amenities. I have to shell out more money to fix my car now.
- Sankaranarayanan (9/5): Superb - The location - perfect for a holiday, if you are looking for me time and spending time with loved ones. Not much of connectivity.
The property - well maintained. With space for some games and barbecue (please let them know in advance). It has a rustic feel. The property is in the middle of a coffee estate, surrounded by forest on three sides. The rooms and bathrooms are near and clean.
The staff - Very friendly. If you request something - it will be done, if it's within their means.(can't expect something immediately as their property is a little away from the usual bustle)
The food - Tasty. Recommended. If you need anything special, give them a heads up. Otherwise the staff will serve food with a smile. A few more boards leading to the location. Better planning about the food service.(Not a big point of concern, but if it's booked fully, then there can be a wait for the food to be served). And you are on holiday, so just go with the flow.
- Alok (9/5): Superb - Room was spacious, neat & clean, staff were behaving nicely, ambiance was amazing 😍
Beautiful place to walk around and indoor games were available. Reaching the location was not easy however the property owner responded properly and sent the staffs to guide us.
Keep all necessary items with you, as market is very far.
Got less options for dinner and breakfast items but it was delicious 😋
- Manoj (9/5): Superb -
- Ravi (7/5): Good -
- Srota (7/5): Good location with boring food. - The location and staff Food need to be improved. They serve very indigenous and monotonous food which every one may not like.
- Pravin (9/5): Superb -
- Neera (8/5): Very good -
- Amalraj (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vadiraj (5/5): It was a mixed bag. Not really value for money. - Breakfast was very good. Staff very courteous. Room alloted was not good for senior citizens like us. Too much climbing of stairs and risky.
- Gurubaran (8/5): Very good -
- Mridul (9/5): A walk amidst nature - This little beauty is in the midst of plantations so the location is a stealer. We had booked a superior room and a deluxe room. The rooms were squeaky clean. Superior room can be booked for atleast three adults and kid as it had two bedrooms with living area having ample space to relax. Breakfast was homely and preparation was light on the palate and get nutritious. There are swings amidst the nutmeg palms which is quite a feature. Had booked it for one night only but after having such a beautiful experience will visit again for atleast 2 nights. Will recommend it for people visiting Ooty and bandipur/mudumalai and want to experience homestay this is the place. Thanks to all the staff for making us comfortable. The way to the property is a bit wayward. Was already informed not to follow Google maps and was guided properly to the place. Hats off to Babu and his wife for patiently guiding us till we reached but it's best to make it here before sunset
- Digumarti (8/5): Very good -
