- Ruth (9/5): Fantastic location with exceptional views, very clean and comfortable. - Fantastic location, great views from the top bedroom. Nice touches including binoculars and a bird guide. Very clean, quality everything. Some little things, outside space could do with a little TLC - any need for bins when there were big ones outside the back gate? Only a very large roasting tin, nothing smaller, no soap (only by dispenser, which was only realised when I was in the bath!), dispensers a little rusty and hardly any hand cream. We could have done with more toilet paper!
- Christine (9/5): Lovely, peaceful stay - Excellent location, very comfortable Think it could be stated stairs quite narrow and steep, my friend fell down them and badly bruised herself
- Ben (9/5): Highly recommend for a couple and a dog! - Great location for walking the dog and good facilities in the property.
Comfy beds, good shower and gas hob so all good.
Highly recommended Living room area and dining table would be a bit of a squeeze for four adults
- John (10/5): A very enjoyable stay at a first class property and a positive experience for us in self catering - Our first impression was the cleanliness of all the amenities were, compliments to your host cleaner.
The cottage has been designed to the highest of standards with the surroundings perfect for a stroll for us older generation.
Our son who arranged this is a seasoned self catering family as they have a dog, we have not done so in 40years.
Even local pub ( Gun In ) outside facilities were quiet.
We did try to leave the premises in a tidy condition and had no mishaps, we only prepared breakfasts as we dined out every evening as it was our wedding anniversary.
When our son was very young was when we last self catered in the Barton/Highcliffe area.
We have already recommended your facilities It isn’t a complaint but we received a greeting text on Sunday and wanted to reply and query part of the refuse instructions So texted a reply about five times and eventually hoped it had arrived.
I phoned on Tuesday morning and the lady answered my question and apologised that the text never arrived.
#### we are residents in Buckinghamshire which has a policy of Five bins for the various types of rubbish.
The Food Bin items have to be wrapped in fairly small “ fully compostable liners/bags.
This was why we didn’t want to contravene any local food rubbish policy, so it maybe worth just highlighting this variance
- John (8/5): Nice but pricey. -
- Denise (9/5): Really great short break with friends and dogs. - Location was superb - next door to a fab pub and great walks on the doorstep - exactly what we wanted..
