• Tomas (9/5): - - The host was kind and available - The apartment was big, and although I was alone, you could fit around five people in the property - All needed amenities, from hygiene products to kitchen appliances - The bed was wide and comfortable, with good AC - The balcony was cozy though the view was not the best - The cleanliness could be improved. Even though Hanoi is not a very clean city, the bathroom had a few ants going around - You have to go up five floors without an elevator, though the steps are short.

• Shine (10/5): A lovely place to stay with an amazing host... - This is a cozy apartment with all the basic facilities. The best part is that the owner status just next door. She is an amazing host and a lovely person, very accommodating and gracious, always ready to help. I recommend this property to all especially small families on a tight budget and with difficulty in communicating in local language. The hostess is proficient in English and always ready to help. The facilities are simple but most convenient. A lovely place to stay Just that the location is a little hard to find for the first time. But the hostess is available online and she is very prompt in replying back to any queries.

• Thị Tân Xuân (8/5): Tạm ổn. - Vị trí tốt, ở trung tâm phố cổ đi lại thuận tiện. Căn hộ như hình, đầy đủ nội thất. Tuy nhiên nhà vệ sinh có mùi và chỗ thoát nước không hợp lý, đọng nước khi tắm xong, nhận phòng còn nghe mùi ẩm rất nhiều. Mình đã mua cà phê đen về pha liên tục để giảm bớt mùi ở khu vực vệ sinh. Ngày hôm sau mình đi mua thêm nhang đốt muỗi để đốt ở phòng vệ sinh với hy vọng bớt nghe mùi cống rất khó chịu. Căn hộ thoải mái, tự do, tuy nhiên leo lên tận tầng 5 thì hơi đuối và khu căn hộ tập thể lâu đời nên cầu thang cũ kĩ. Khu vực bếp đủ đồ dùng nhưng hình như không có ai dọn nên đồ đạc, nồi niêu bụi bẩn mình ko dám dùng, chén bát thì nhiều, mới và sạch. Chổi quét nhà mình ko biết có sạch ko vì để trong phòng vệ sinh thứ hai ẩm thấp và bừa bộn, mình đã phải dùng thuốc tẩy ngâm sạch mới dám quét phòng mỗi ngày. Tuy nhiên chị chủ dễ thương, trả lời những hỏi đáp của khách nhiệt tình. Ở đó như ở nhà vậy, nếu sạch sẽ và ngăn nắp hơn ở bếp và nhà tắm gần bếp thì tuyệt.Mình thích giường êm thoải mái nhưng không thích chăn drap tối màu, đồ sạch nhưng có lẽ do giặt nhưng ko có máy sấy mà chỗ phơi nhỏ nên mùi ẩm vẫn còn. Nếu sấy khô và có mùi thơm thì mình sẽ tự tin hơn. Nói chung cũng là trải nghiệm khá tốt. Ở khu đó hàng quán đông, bán cũng phải chăng nhưng có mấy cô bán trái cây lề đường thì chặt đẹp (trái chuối bán 10.000 VND) , không thấy siêu thị tiện ích quanh đó. Mùi hương căn hộ.

• Lylea (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment is located within walking distance to Hoan Kiem Lake and Old Quarter, hence there are many food options nearby. Check-in and check-out are both fuss-free. Rooms are clean and with all the needed amenities. There is even a washing machine in the kitchen area for use.

The flat was great for us and our 2 kids with a separate bedroom and a washing machine and fridge. The communication with the host was super fast and helpful. She also organised a transfer to the airport that was much cheaper than a grab. We would stay again!

• Daniel (2/5): Very poor - One good thing was AC First time in my history i had bad experience with accomodation. Bed and sheets were smelling bad and old, same with towels. Very high air humidity making this place stink. I recommend owner to atleast change bed and pillow sheets, towels for new and change them more often.
• Alajas (4/5): Disappointing - Host was easy to talk to. They were flexible and helped us throughout our whole stay. They made us leave our bags in the lobby while waiting for checkin time. There was a smell in the room, especially in the bathroom (smelt like garbage). The toothbrushes were all out of their plastic bag so I wasn't sure if it was reused.

• Marion (8/5): Very good - The host girl was very friendly and flexible. We even stayed spontaneous one day longer. Everything was no problem. Beds are harder in Vietnam than in Europe - same in this apartment but very comfortable.
• Melanie (8/5): Good value for money - - very friendly owner, easy to reach - good location (it is on the 5th floor though, lots of stairs in hot weather) - the two separate bedrooms were very good for us with small kids - we could use the owners washing machine (as seen in the pictures, in the shared kitchen) - the floor was not very clean, there was lots of hair on the carpet that did not belong to us and lots of dust when we moved the fan - the bathroom is big enough, but outside of the air-conditioned room, so a bit uncomfortable - the beds are vietnamese hard, there is a topper but in total still very thin
• Teresa (9/5): Superb - The hostess kindly helped keep our luggage safe for a few days when we travelled to Sapa. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The bathroom did not have a door, just a screen. The apartment is on the 5th floor and no elevator.
• Jer (7/5): Central location with everything that you need - Lan provided really detailed instructions on how to find the property. We arrived via sleeper bus so checked in pretty late which was no problem. Room was very spacious. AC / fan worked great. There's a small balcony in the room and another balcony area in the communal hallway. Super convenient having a washer/dryer combo available to use. Shower had good water pressure and hot water. Shampoo and body wash was also included. Great location to explore the city! There is a strong odor and the air freshener was also overpowering. Instructions for the Japanese washer / dryer would be helpful but we were able to figure it out using Google translate. The apartment is a few flights up and no lift, so just be aware.
• Mariam (9/5): A spacious apartment with two bedrooms, private toilet, and shower. Provided with towels, slippers, and clean sheets. It - Ms. Michelia was very responsive, helpful, and easy to communicate with. She gave detailed descriptions about the location and how to access the building entrance and the apartment. An ATM was just a minute's walk from the accommodation. An iron, ironing detergent, and an ironing table were also provided. The fridge was not cooling sufficiently, but the freezer worked well.

• Alain (3/5): Not clean - Good location The place was not clean and the smell was awful, it needs to be cleaned thoroughly and the air conditioning too.. no door for the bathroom, the blinds were full of fungus, bed was just vapor cleaned before we arrived,.. also i had to pay on arrival and didn't check the price on my reservation and she charged me 400'000 dong more. I do not recommend

• Burke (10/5): Exceptional - This apartment is ideally located - very central, but quite. Spotlessly clean and superb facilities- it was plenty spacious for 4 of us. The host was wonderful - she helped me retrieve my phone from a taxi in Ninh Binh and helped source some delicious vegetarian banh mi restaurants. We would love to stay here again! Nothing- it was all excellent.
• Raj (10/5): Glad we chose this apartment - The studio is amazingly equipped with all the things you might need. The host is really cooperative and prompt. The kitchen and bathroom as well, is very well equipped with everything that one might need for a peaceful stay. Not something that I didn’t like about it, but yeah, there’s a downside. One has to climb 5 floors to reach to the apartment. Which might mot be suitable for everyone. Although she does provide support for the luggage to be carried up if informed in advance.
• Joy (10/5): Prime location, comfy and clean, value for money - The apartment is strategically located in the old quarter and is close to bus stop that goes to and fro the Noi Bai International airport. The night market and lake area is also within 15min walking distance. Owner stays just next door so it’s easy to reach out if you have any issues provided that she’s at home. Room is comfy and clean. Aircon is a little weak but it works. Hair dryer is also strong enough for my thick long hair. Owner also provided a big jug of water prior to your checkin. Communication is also clear so I can do self checkin. Owner gave the pin to the metal gate via message through Booking.com’s app but just note that the metal gate is right in front of the apartment on the 5th floor, not the big gate on ground floor facing the street. Since the apartment is located on the 2nd street away from the main road, it’s not too noisy at night. The fridge in the room is also cold enough to store your groceries. There is a big supermart located across the street but it mainly sells imported goods from Asia and Europe. The apartment is located on the 5th floor with no lift. Luckily there is a cement strip laid over the staircase which probably is meant for bicycles but it works fine to roll my small suitcase up. You’re also supposed to pay your room fee upon arrival in cash - which the fault is mine since I didn’t read carefully before booking. So be prepared to bring extra cash, or exchange money in the many shops at the night market.

You also have to pay cash upon arrival for the room fee - which is my mistake since I didn’t read carefully before booking so the fault is mine. So in the end I had to exchange more cash for my entire trip.
• Oliver (10/5): Feels like you’re really living in Hanoi - I stayed here for five weeks. Phuong was an excellent host; friendly, attentive, she made me feel at home and nothing was too much trouble. This made my experience of Hanoi much more relaxing, to have a local to ask questions about the city and Vietnamese people and culture in general. Very good price for two bedrooms, the main with great A/C, huge flatscreen TV and fridge/freezer. Incredibly quiet, slept great every night. Nothing
• Jessica (9/5): Cute apartment in the City Center - The apartment is super central and you can just walk everywhere. WiFi and AC were working. Matresses were typical vietnamese standard (hard for europeans). Could have been a little bit cleaner.
• Sharath (8/5): Great location and value for money for a short stay - Location is superb, great value for money, host is super friendly helpful and receptive, Appartment is cozy, lots of shampoos and soap to choose from. Being on the fifth floor, travelling with heavy bags was an issue due to my bad back, but the host arranged help to carry the heavy ones, the help was super friendly and helpful too.
• Minjeong (10/5): If you're looking for a cost-effective accommodation, I highly recommend it! - I was surprised to see the exterior of the building for the first time. It was an older building than I thought. I was worried as I went up the stairs.But the moment I entered MICHELIA APART, my worries melted away. The landlord welcomed us and she kept all the facilities clean. She also guided us to find the accommodation even before we arrived at the accommodation. The inside of the accommodation was cozy and it was a good environment for my family to relax. The bathroom kitchen was also kept clean. There was also a washing machine, so I didn't have to leave my clothes at the laundry. The location is not far from Lake Hoan Kiem, and we always walked. It was quiet at night, so I could sleep comfortably without noise pollution. Now we moved to another hotel but miss MICHELIA APART! If I visit Hanoi next time, I will visit again! There's nothing in particular.

• Lucien (10/5): Exceptional - Phuong was very friendly and helpful, the apartment is in a great location and quiet at night. The apartment has a private bathroom, private balcony, a small bedroom and a large bedroom/living room. There is a shared terrace with outdoor kitchen with a washing machine. Very good value for money!
