The fridge was packed full of food, so unexpected. Cereals, bread, preserves, fruit etc. I had omitted to tell Shona my husband has Celiacs Disease, within 20 minutes she arrived with numerous items Gluten Free. He was very well catered for. There were other personal touches which all added to a perfect 2 night stay. Absolutely nothing!

Le logement est à 5 min à pied du centre de Portree et est a 15 min en voiture du superbe Old Man of storr! Shona is incredible and we had more than we could ever want at this stay. For our trip of hotel jumping, this place really gave us a sense of homely comfort. We actually were thinking of staying another night if we didn't have to leave for further plans!!

Shona provided great breakfast, with plenty of options to choose from. We could even prepare a few sandwiches or toasts to take with us on our hikes! The room itself was spotless, well-kept, and very cozy, with excellent sound insulation. The bathroom was spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything we needed The parking space is conveniently located right outside the unit. The location is also ideal: close enough to the town center to reach it easily, yet quiet and relaxing. Overall, we had a truly enjoyable experience and would highly recommend this place without hesitation!

El trato fue excepcional, cuidan el más mínimo detalle. La zona en la que está ubicado el apartamento es de muy fácil acceso, aún de noche, y tiene varios servicios cercanos como supermercados, y sitios de ocio. El apartamento es súper moderno y muy limpio, cuenta con todo lo necesario para pasar una estancia de 10. No pone que el desayuno está incluido, pero cuenta con muchos alimentos para desayunar que están incluidos y algún detalle extra por parte de la anfitriona que nos gustó mucho. Excelente alojamiento.
• Sangeun (10/5): The Best Accommodation in the Isle of Skye! - Miss Shona is a very meticulous and kind homeowner, and we had a wonderful time at Burnbrae Apartment. The day we arrived there was when we almost gave up sightseeing due to Storm Amy; we were exhausted and disappointed, but seeing the accommodation suddenly made us feel much better. Everything was just perfect, and seeing various food in fridge and table made me feel sorry for no reason. We could get a good rest and set off for Quiraing trekking the next morning. It was my favorite accommodation during my 8 days in Scotland. If there's another chance to visit Isle of Skye, I would definitely stay longer only at Burnbrae Apartment. nothing

La posizione è ideale a 5 minuti a piedi dal centro ma il valore aggiunto è dato dalla proprietaria che si è dimostrata disponibile ed estremamente gentile. Ha rifornito il frigo con ogni ben di Dio per la colazione o per spuntini vari: cornetti confezionati, frutta fresca, marmellate, yogurt, formaggi, salumi, ecc…

The food provided was amazing as well ... it were able to eat a substantial breakfast two mornings and one evening dinner with plenty to spare! My son, who traveled with me, commented that this was his favorite place 'EVER' (and we travel a lot)! The room was very updated, cozy, comfortable, and very CLEAN! We couldn't have asked for a better stay and I hate to admit that it's probably even 'underpriced' for the value we received!

• Steve (9/5): Kiwi Steve in Portree. - This is a near new, nicely finished room with a modern fit out. The interior finishing has been done to a high standard and everything worked well. It was clean and comfortable and our host provided a very generous breakfast option that was like an expanded continental offering, with every option provided (noting a cooked breakfast was not an option). Our host Shona was meticulous in her attention to detail and very focused on ensuring our every need was catered for. This is a great place to stay for sure and we would go back again without hesitation. We stayed during school summer holidays when demand is high and room rates rise accordingly. That's a supply and demand equation for which there is no easy answer, except accepting you will pay more!

It really was one of the best places I've ever stayed at if not even the best especially for the price. When we arrived we were greeted by the lovely host who showed us around the apartment. She was very friendly and it was lovely to have a little chat with her before she left us to ourselves in that absolutely beautiful apartment. The apartment was very modern and perfectly clean. In addition to that it was really nicely furnished which made us feel really comfortable. But the thing we loved most was the huge variety of food provided for breakfast and the filled fridge so that we didn't have to buy any other food for the duration of our stay at all. It was just perfect overall!

And a neat short cut walking path that takes you into town in 10 minutes. Shona even supplies you with maps and gives you ideas for places to eat. We could not have asked for a better stay. • Vic (10/5): 11 out of 10 - This apartment exceeded our expectations on many levels. Although it seemed far from the town square by car , it was an easy flat 10min walk via a short cut. The rooms was exceptionally clean and the host provided a fantastic hamper of food and supplies. The fridge was stocked with juice and deli items etc. Shona the host had excellent local knowledge re activities etc . Overall a fantastic stay and our car was parked in a very safe spot.

The breakfast was really more like a feast and it was not only confined to breakfast foods. Shone had got us local beer, wine, Skye tablet, as well as well as a large continental breakfast selection with local cheese, ham, juices, croissants, bread. The bathroom shower was super powerful and came with a great selection of toiletries. It was an easy and short wander to the harbour and market Square, a great central location with free parking. Nothing, it was a great stay and we sound definitely go back.
