Guest Reviews
- Krisfichur (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christina (2/5): Nope , nope, and furious. - Nice , pretty, clean room. Very good facilities The fact that I booked this room because I wanted two things: to be able to have a good night's sleep, and imperatively it must have parking -which I used the filter for to look for properties with parking and this showed up. When I booked it and asked the question about how to find the parking I was told by private host it meant free public STREET regular parking! This is central Athens where there was nowhere to park whatsoever on the street and even the private paid carparks were full. I circled for a whole hour!! My car was full of things and found this room to be in one of the dodgiest, dirtiest, most dangerous looking areas that has no semblance of Greece - it was a total ghetto! I was told that "in her (the host's) opinion" it was made clear in the description that she meant regular street parking and was in her tight to advertise that they have parking (as per the filter "parking" I used!) and there was a very snarky response about it. And yet, by her logic, I would like to point out that every room and hotel and Airbnb therefore has parking in the entire city, country and planet. The other thing I booked a room for was a good night's sleep before driving many hours the next day. So after it took an extra hour of circling to find somewhere to park on the street and worrying about my car full to the brim with my personal belongings while I move house, and worried about it all night being broken into because of the awful dirty demographic outside, I discovered a hard bed and was woken throughout the night by drunk or drugged people talking, arguing and shouting either on the street directly under the room window, even after having to get up out of bed and firmly ask people to move on, and when I finally slept the neighbours in the building stand there and bloody chat in the reception area and the stair well at 6.30-7-7.30 in the damn morning and it's loud as day.
