• Max (9/5): - Hervorragendes Frühstück, sehr sorgfältig vom Chef persönlich angerichtet, dazu gabs noch sehr gute Ausflugstipps und gute Wettervorhersagen. Die Zimmer sind sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Man fühlt, dass hier alles getan wird, den Gästen die Auszeit möglichst angenehm zu gestalten. Man fühlt sich wirklich toll aufgehoben und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

• Claudia (8/5): - Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und würden die Unterkunft auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist perfekt für alle, die Ruhe und Erholung suchen – wunderbar zum Abschalten. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr lecker. Besonders die frischen, warmen Brötchen und das leckere Brot haben uns begeistert. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Man bekommt tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten in der Umgebung, was den Aufenthalt noch schöner macht. Insgesamt haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt.

• Steven (9/5): Leuke plek om Berchtesgaden en omstreken te verkennen. - Ontbijt was lekker en gevarieerd. De eigenaar (Anton) doet ook een extraatje om je te helpen. Ik was gesteld op gemberthee. Dit was niet aanwezig maar vanaf de volgende dag had Anton dit reeds toegevoegd aan het assortiment. Er geldt een toeristenbelasting van 3,10 € per dag in Berchtesgaden. Hou er rekening mee dat dit nog ter plaatste moet betaald worden en niet in de prijs is inbegrepen. De eigenaar kan hier echter niets aan doen want is een verplichte belasting van de overheid. Je krijgt er wel een kortingskaart van de overheid voor in de plaats (vb. musea,...)

• Phuong (10/5): T đang có ý định, đi thêm lượt nữa trong tháng nóng mùa hè này - Ông chủ cũng như nhân viên cực kì nhiệt tình, chúng tôi đi 9 người lớn 2 trẻ nhỏ, ai cũng thích chỗ này, ông chủ rất nhiệt tình luôn sẵn sàng trả lời các thắc mắc về chỗ nghỉ cũng như giới thiệu các điểm đến đẹp, đáng giá để đến thăm quan. Phòng rất sạch sẽ. Nếu có thêm một kì nghỉ kéo dài, tôi sẽ nghĩ tới đây đầu tiên. Ngoài ra tôi còn để quên đồ, ông chủ hôm sau đã gửi bưu điện đi luôn cho tôi

• Daniel (10/5): - Our stay was an excellent one. Our room had a lovely view of the valley. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was nice and big with a nice high pressure shower, and a heated towel rack Check-in was easy. Breakfast was good. The building is situated on a hillside among other houses and the road to get to it is tiny.

• Michael (10/5): - Sehr freundlicher Gastgeber, hat uns morgens beim Frühstück mit wertvollen Informationen versorgt. Zimmer war super, sauber, tolle Aussicht und bequeme Betten. Kissen waren genug da, Matratzen kann man tauschen, wenn Festigkeit nicht stimmen sollte. Morgens wurde das Zimmer gereinigt und der Müll geleert. Frühstück morgens war auch super, täglich schöne Auswahl und frische Eier und genug Kaffee. Selbst für die Keinen ist genug Auswahl vorhanden.
• Manfred (10/5): Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne mal wieder. - Sehr ruhig gelegen mit einem fantastischen Blick auf den Watzmann. Einen sehr netten, aufmerksamen Wirt, der auf Wunsch hilfreiche Tipps zu möglichen Ausflügen gibt. Das Frühstück ist üppig und abwechslungsreich mit sehr frischen Brot und Brötchen. Es gibt nichts zu beanstanden.

• Lynn (10/5): Breathtaking views and wonderful host- highly recommend! - Anton was so friendly, accommodating, and informative- he made our visit to the Krampus festival just perfect! It’s a beautiful property with spectacular views and fresh mountain air. It’s a bit of a walk with a hill to town, but perfectly comfortable for us- a bit older, a bit in shape. The room was sweet and the bed comfortable. It had a private deck and towel heater, thoughtful touches with a cosmetic bag holding bathroom necessities. Breakfast was wonderful! Some of the best bread I’ve eaten in Europe- and that’s saying something! Though a smaller guesthouse, Anton includes more options for meat, cheese, etc. than many bigger places we’ve stayed at including some wonderful caponata-type mix of roasted veggies with cheese (I loved that) and polenta pudding (new for me, and I intend to make it at home)! My husband noted that the juices were varied and flavorful- these are often watered down. We will definitely come back here if we are in the area again! While everything was incredibly clean, my sensitive nose did note the lingering smell of tobacco in the entry.

• Jess (9/5): Fabulous host! - The views and ambience of the guesthouse are incredible. The host was so lovely and helpful. Breakfast is cute and tasty. Very spacious and clean rooms with balcony. We found the mattresses quite lumpy and not very comfortable- also the shape of pillow not being rectangular! Sorry to say to say it, it may be us but we had to be honest.

Für uns war besonders wichtig: eine gute Duschmöglichkeit, ruhige und bequeme Nächte, sowie ein leckeres Frühstück – all das wurde hier absolut erfüllt. Die Zimmer sind gemütlich, sauber und bieten einen traumhaften Ausblick (Zimmer 2!) auf die umliegende Natur und die Berge. Morgens starteten wir mit einem reichhaltigen Frühstück in den Tag, abends konnten wir entspannt zur Ruhe kommen. Da wir tagsüber viel unterwegs waren, waren die persönlichen Ausflugstipps vom Gastgeber sehr hilfreich und gut gewählt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt – absolute Empfehlung für alle, die Ruhe, Natur und Komfort suchen! Nicht anwendbar

• Mike (10/5): It rained incessantly the first day but the second day the sun shone and our day in Konigsseee was spectacular! - Typical Alpine lodge set on a hillside with superb views overlooking the river, mountains and town. The old town centre is a pleasant 15 minute walk. Although nothing is perfect it would be pernickety to mention anything.

Bathroom was modern and beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and able to answer all our questions about the area. Breakfast provided sliced meats and cheeses, tea or coffee, juice, soft-boiled eggs and the wonderful German rolls. View from our room, number 9, was exceptional. It snowed overnight the second night we stayed and it was lovely looking out across the valley. We highly recommend and will be staying there again soon. Everything was perfect - the room, the staff, breakfast, view from room, comfortable beds, cleanliness - nothing could have been better, Highly recommended!
• Lars (8/5): For a family holiday in the beautiful surrounding of Berchtesgaden a great accommodation, well positioned and overlookin - Exceptional breakfast and super friendly and helpful owner, who gave very valuable tips for excursions in the beautiful surroundings of Berchtesgaden. The standard of the room/ appartment was okay, but fairly simple to our taste.

• Eunjeong (9/5): Amazing view - The owner was so kind. He was eager to introduce tourist spots to guests and let them know about the local weather. Amazing surroundings and great views. 15-minute walk to a lovely neighborhood. Because we couldn't rent a car unexpectedly, the location was not good for us, but we knew from the beginning that this hotel is located in a secluded area. Definitely need a car.

• Estoesta (10/5): 10/10 would definitely book again. - Lovely and beautiful stay at Gastehaus Bergwald. The view from the back deck is incredible and 100% worth the stay. The room was clean and comfortable. It had a fully stocked kitchen and we were able to easily cook. Grocery store is a short 15 minute walk. Hosts were very kind and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and topped off a great stay.
