• Pietro (9/5): Peaceful and stylish apartment with stunning views and unique design - The apartment offers a very quiet and welcoming atmosphere, with spectacular views through the glass door, which we woke up to every morning. The design is stylish, and the room has an interesting design, featuring a raised bed. Gavdos is a remote island, so facilities are limited: bring plenty of water, cash, and plan your transport carefully. Not all places accept cards, and as far as I know there is only one ATM which can be unreliable. Nearby Kalypso Apartments, the Princess restaurant and Stella's bakery offer amazing food and accept card payments. Renting a car is tricky due to rental companies’ restrictions, but e-bikes, scooters, cars, and taxis are sometimes available locally for rental. Ferry schedules depend on weather, so delays and cancellations are possible. The host can provide helpful advice on buses from the port for reaching the apartment. Plan all aspects of your trip in advance to avoid any surprises!

• Jana (9/5): Ubytování pro poznávání ostrova Gavdos. - Jednoduché a funkčně zařízené ubytování s terasou na zahradě. Kuchyňský kout je maličký, pro jednoduchou přípravu snídaní dostačující. Majitel je velice milý. Možnost ubytování se psem. Parkování na silnici u apartmánu. Lokalita v centru ostrova je ideální pro poznávání celého ostrova. Sprchový kout nemá žádné oddělení stěnou ani závěsem od plochy koupelny.

• Nikolaos (10/5): Calmness and retreat in the nature of Gavdos island - We stayed at this property for 3 days and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated with a tasteful aesthetic that created a calm and cozy atmosphere. One of the highlights for me was the private balcony/yard – a peaceful little retreat surrounded by nature. Each morning, I woke up to the sound of birds and enjoyed my coffee while taking in the serene views and fresh air. The overall design of the space blended perfectly with the natural surroundings, offering a true sense of tranquility. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind and escape the stress of everyday life. A hidden gem for those who appreciate comfort, beauty, and nature! A small but thoughtful gesture really stood out: when I noticed there was an espresso machine, I asked the owners where I could buy coffee capsules – and instead, they kindly brought me some themselves, free of charge. That level of hospitality made me feel truly welcome and taken care of. -

• ioanna (10/5): Παραμονή 2 ημερών - Πολύ ωραίο ευρύχωρο εξοπλισμένο δωμάτιο με δικό του χώρο private μπροστά με ωραίες ξαπλώστρες ...με τα πόδια φτάνει κάποιος στο καλύτερο εστιατόριο το princess( 2 λεπτά )...το βράδυ έξω από το δωμάτιο φαίνονται τα αστέρια πολύ έντονα...οι παραλίες Σαρακίνικο και Αι Γιάννης είναι πολύ κοντά με το αυτοκίνητο...Επίσης τον ευχαριστώ για το τηλέφωνο που μου έδωσε του Νίκου (Gavdos Boat trips) για την απίστευτη όμορφη βόλτα με το φουσκωτό που κάναμε στις πιο ωραίες και κρυφές παραλίες του νησιού!

We were very happy there. - Ari the agreeable on-site manager set out coffee, milk, butter, honey and fresh bread from nearby Stella's bakery every morning on the big table and invariably stayed to chat away in English. In fact it was Ari's hospitality, friendship and willingness to provide any small extras a guest might wish for that made our stay at Kalypso Studios much more than we expected. We would have loved a softer mattress, especially after a stiff ascent from Potamos or Lakoudi. On the other hand I know that many people prefer very firm mattresses, which seem to be quite common throughout Greece. A couple of small bedside tables also would have been useful. Our unit didn't have any.

Hosts where very friendly, meeting all expectations and available for anything needed. The rooms and the garden are perfect with very nice sea view. Highly recommended, probably the best rooms in Gavdos.

• Foteini (9/5): Would come again! - The location is good in kastri, the centre of the island. The appartements are nicely renovated, simplistic, as the spirit of the island, with a beautiful garden. The room was big and comfortable. Special thanks to Aris who took good care of everything, always smiling and helpful. Some mattresses would need replacement. No curtains. A bit expensive.

• Iulian-alin (9/5): It was a dreamy, comfortable and great experience! - The location is stunning, the houses are very well ordered, and overall the area is very calming and beautiful. It is close to Kastri and many great eating locations, a small shop, and you can even get the bus straight from outside the villas. The owner is a wonderful and easy-going person who helped us a lot with transportation, and I must say that we will certainly be back! If anything, the only critique we would have is that the WiFi seems to not work sometimes - this is of course a very minor problem, and to be expected from such a small island.
