- Parker (9/5): - Private rear garden for my dog.very comfortable bed. Nothing.

- robert (10/5): Excellent - all nothing

- Christopher (9/5): Second time staying here. Both excellent -
- Sky Cole (10/5): Comfort & convenience - ☆☆☆☆☆ We are so delighted to have found this place!
Brilliant location close to centre and easy to get to from the A38. Near a road, but very quiet. Great size rooms. Super comfy beds! Lovely little garden that is secure for the dogs and gets plenty of sunshine.
Room on the drive for family to park when visiting.
Supermarkets virtually on the doorstep, or lots of choices for delivery. Uber or taxis always available.
- Nicola (9/5): Exceeded expectation, perfect for what we needed. - The property was immaculate, very clean, had everything we needed just to come in and get settled. Everything worked well. Instructions to get in were clear, big car parking space outside. Big super market locally made it really easy to grab a few bits we needed. Neighbourhood was quiet and took our dog for a walk into some lovely woodland at the end of the road. Could have done with an outside light also back door is a bit tricky to open. There was a misunderstanding about it being a minimum 2 night stay which wasn’t obvious on the website and the system allowed us to book one night but the host was lovely about it and we easily came to an understanding.

- Catherine (9/5): Absolutely lovely😁 - This is my third time staying at the bungalow, I did request an early check in has I found the host to be very good at communicating, and very helpful.
I was able to check in a couple of hours earlier which was lovely after a long drive down!
Again pleasantly surprised how lovely & clean quiet! also it’s across the road from my mums house which is lovely when I go down to visit it’s perfect for us.
Plenty of towels great off road parking just a really great location 👍🏻
Another great stay will book again soon absolutely love staying there!
Plus lovely host very helpful & informative thanks😁 It didn’t have an hair dryer, also could do with a table & chairs in the back garden.
Has the weather was lovely when we visited it would have been nice to sit outside.
- Joanne (9/5): Excellent sleep, large comfy rooms and beds. - The house was warm on arrival which was lovely and the heating was easy to understand and fast to warm up so we could turn it down when we went out and know it would be warm on our return very quickly. Beds were very comfortable, we slept so well as it's also very peaceful on the road. There was a welcome pack of tea / coffee / sugar and an extra treat of chocolate biscuits that were much appreciated. Zena responded quickly to any questions we had. No negatives really, the back door is a bit draughty but it was the middle of winter so I expect it's not a problem most of the year and you don't spend much time in there.
- Abuaja (10/5): I had a wonderful stay, environment was peaceful, good location with easy access to stores. - I loved how clean the place was. My wife really appreciated the antique-style décor, and the check-in process was smooth and hassle-free. Zee, the host, was friendly and very supportive. We also enjoyed the serene environment of the house, along with the ample and convenient parking space.
- Parker (10/5): - Very comfortable, clean and warm. Nothing.
- Ruth (7/5): Shame about the smelly drains. - Great location for us and the host was very friendly when we spoke.
Very comfortable beds.
The accommodation was fine and mostly acceptable, except for the smell... Don't think the heating had been on for a while, so the bungalow was freezing when we arrived. Took a long time to programme the thermostat to get the heat to come on. Would have been nice to come in to a warm house. I also think it was the cold and damp that caused the smell.
I didn't like receiving house instructions on the morning of the booking. We came a long way and I like to write out the details in advance, just in case I can't access my phones on arrival. Not sure why it can't be sent day before. Also, it wasn't until the day of arrival we were told we'd have to leave by 10am, the listing says 11am. Instructions also informed us we needed to empty the bins on leaving, yet given no indication as to what could go in the recycling etc.
Advertised as 2 bedroom, so presumably 4 people can stay, but only 2 chairs for eating at the table and 3 dinner plates available. Was fine for us, but if you're booking for 4, it would be a problem. Also, as other reviews mentioned, there's no hairdryer, again not ideal for winter having to go out with wet hair.
House was mostly clean in the key areas, bedsheets clean and carpets. But thick dust around skirting boards and mould growing around the windows in the bathroom and bedrooms (see photos). Bathroom also began to stink after 2 days, seemed to be coming from the mould and stench pipe as smell got worse every time the toilet was flushed. I did report, but no idea if this was investigated as we had to leave early, in part due to the terrible smell.
Did speak with the owner who seemed nice on the phone and suggested ways to fix the WiFi (which worked). She was also very apologetic when she called asking if the gas safe engineer could come round as she'd forgotten he was booked for the annual check. Not ideal, but Zeta was nice about it, however the engineer was very odd and didn't believe I didn't know where the gas meter was! I did not feel comfortable.

- Lorraine (7/5): Overall a pleasant stay just to relax - The bungalow was nice and spacious. Beds were comfy and shower was great. TV was a smart TV which was beneficial as the weather was awful so stayed in most of our stay plus Plymouth wasn’t the best. Tesco supermarket and B&M are really close too so it’s very convenient. Wasn’t the cleanest of places I’ve stayed but it was acceptable. We had to wait to check in as the cleaners were still in the property and we arrived after our check in time and was tired after a 3.5 hour journey. There were no baking trays so had to cook a meal using a Pyrex dish which was not good. No tea /coffee but was ok as Tesco was not far
- Hollie (8/5): A wonderful stay close to Plymouth City Centre with large back garden - The location of the property was perfect as we attended my home city to watch the firework championships and opted for somewhere away from the hoe and barbican.
Zena was very helpful and made us feel like we could contact her with any problems we had.
Although not shown on the property advertisement, there is a large garden at the back of the property which was a huge bonus.
The beds were comfy with good quality duvets and pillows. Kitchen was well equipped with fridge, microwave, oven, gas hob and also a washing machine!
The bathroom consisted of a good powerful shower and also a good size bath, and with combi boiler the bath was no problem.
Overall a wonderful stay and will definitely be back. It would have been useful to have a hairdryer, ironing board/iron and some cleaning items such as a mop/brush to be able to keep on top of the cleaning during our stay.

- Parker (8/5): Very good - Private rear garden for my dog to sniff around and off street parking. Nothing.
- Barton (10/5): The owner was incredibly helpful and went out of her way to bring a fan to the property. - The location was ideal, as it was close to facilities and had some nice local walks. Needs a better-fitting toilet seat.
The kitchen could do with a few more mugs.
A washing machine in the property is beneficial, but nothing to hang washing on. Perhaps a washing line or collapsible airer could be provided.
- Dawn (8/5): Great stop over - Easy access after a late ferry arrival. Clean and tidy. Ready to sleep without fuss. Able to put on a fire to get warm after a cold and windy crossing was very comforting. Slightly short of crockery and chairs to sit to eat breakfast but we managed by showering and eating in shifts.
- Donald (9/5): Superb - Very comfortable place Nothing
- Sharon (9/5): Clean and comfortable - Spotlessly clean and smelt fresh. Very comfortable bed. Parking area a good size, and surroundings very quiet. Really good communication from host, quick to answer any messages. Would have liked a blind at kitchen window.
- Christopher (8/5): Very good -
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Denise (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable. Ideal location and very handy to have good parking
- Lorraine (10/5): Exceptional - Parking was on front drive .
Easy for disabled . Could have had tea coffee milk provided .
Welcome pack etc .
Prefer shower .bathroom was small .
- Ruth (9/5): Superb - Great location and clean and comfortable. Lovely little garden for our dog to run around in.
- Alison (10/5): Ideal and comfortable base for visting my family in the area. - Having it's own off street parking in the Plymouth area was a massive bonus and made loading and unloading much easier. Host was very friendly and contactable. Warm, clean and comfortable, especially having a decent lounge chair for my back. Although it is a bungalow a wheelchair user or anyone with mobilty issues needs to be aware there are several steps up into the property and also steps down into the garden. It is quite a way from the centre of town but there are plenty of bus routes nearby.
- Fred (10/5): Exceptional - Facilities position and the garden. Nothing wanted to stay longer but someone had book it.
- Catherine (10/5): Wonderful peaceful stay! Great location, will definitely stay again!! - It was a lovely quiet location, beds were very comfortable plenty of towels, nice little touches ie: tea bags, washing liquid, free Wi-Fi, & spacious the only thing is I couldn’t find a hairdryer? The communication between myself and the owner was great she was very quick to respond to any questions I asked.
Also having your own private parking is definitely a plus for me!
Great location not far from city centre there is a road behind the house if you want to bus into town.
This is my second time staying and I will definitely book again!. I absolutely loved staying there?
- Lee (10/5): Beautiful bungalow in the perfect quiet area, with everything we needed. - The name of this bungalow suits it perfectly, it really is beautiful. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer property for our visit to Plymouth. It was clean, perfect size, and the location was perfect with everything we needed near by. Comfy large beds and everything we needed for a lovely stay. We will definitely love to visit again. We loved everything.
- Lorraine (8/5): Perfect for a few days stay. - Spacious living area and secure garden Garden overgrown in places, not as tidy as it was when we used the property before and no garden chairs.
- Dane (10/5): Great place to stay - Great property, would book again if working in the area
- Stephen (10/5): All the comforts of home, only cosier! -
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Catherine (10/5): Absolutely lovely!!! - Location was perfect! I went to visit my mum who lives down the road from the property. I found the owners to be very helpful & responded to our questions very promptly! They were very informative.
The property was lovely & spacious lovely & clean modern home the plus for me was having a driveway for the car.
Nice quiet area near city centre & other amenities.
I ordered a local takeout located in crownhill village just up the road.
Free Wi-Fi was another plus for us & fully equipped for us!
WE WILL Definitely BE BOOKING AGAIN SOON 😁 I can honestly say there was nothing we didn’t like about the property
- Della (9/5): Superb -
- Sam (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simon (8/5): Very good - Nice accommodation. N/And
- Elisabeth (10/5): Plymouth weekend - Whole house for our family, garden for dog, parking Wish it had a dishwasher! And a bigger table for all of us
- Carkett (9/5): Great location, well equipped accommodation and helpful host. - It was a very good location. All facilities were there with well equipped kitchen. Looked like it had been recently decorated so very fresh and clean. Good amount of space. Twin beds in one of the rooms would have offered a bit more flexibility, but we managed OK.
- Lorraine (10/5): Lovely property perfect for what we needed - Parking on the drive enclosed garden for our dog Need some garden furniture as it’s a nice space but nothing to sit on
