Guest Reviews
- Bennetts (8/5): -
- Helen (8/5): A comfortable stay in a great location. - The location was excellent. A walk to the beach, recreation club and fishing spots. Only 15mins to Forster.
Very comfortable beds. Well stocked kitchen.
Great range of things to do such as table tennis, darts, board games Starting to look tired. Carpet could do with replacing. Needs air con in the two other bedrooms. They’re very hot when the weather is warm.
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Sonia (6/5): Pleasant house with ok location. - The house had a lovely balcony with nice tree lined views. Easy access and parking. Nice location near the rec club. No lake view as described. The property is practically on the main road so was quite noisy with cars and trucks especially in the early morning. The walk wasn’t as convenient to Elizabeth Beach as described so it’s definitely a drive there given the big hill. The backyard was very messy with leaves and debris making it not appealing to use.
The house is advertised as pet friendly. But the backyard wasn’t full secure for a small dog. Be fine for a large animal.
The kitchen was pretty well stocked for cooking and food equipment but an eclectic mix of glassware and crockery. For a house that sleeps six the fridge is very small which means you can’t really do a big shop as not enough space. Also there’s no dryer which was a real hassle with all the rain. We also had a deluge of rain and there was a massive water leak in the ensuite that flooded it and had to use all our towels to mop up with no way to then dry them. Ended up checking out early.
- Sascha (8/5): Great family house, next time will bring our small dog as the place is well equiped for a pet. Wish we had booked an ext - It was within walking distance to ‘The Recky’ which made it super easy in the evenings for dinner. The sunset was just stunning while we were staying at the property. Big open deck, for the whole family to enjoy. 3 Good sized bedrooms, small backyard but we didn’t need to use it. Nothing
- Jo-anne (10/5): Exceptional - Fabulous location near lake and beaches, great outdoor area/deck, very comfortable and stylish home.
- Kylie (8/5): Great value for money. Beautiful location & close for us to visit friends. We will stay again - Great front veranda, small but fully fenced secure yard for dogs with some grass. Garage, quiet area, rec club across the road, beautiful sunset vista over Wallis Lake within walking distance. Hot water was turned off on our arrival so we couldn’t shower for dinner after our 8.5hr drive. Took till the next morning to heat up. The $1000 bond is excessive & annoying. Tying up my credit card when we’re on a two week vacation.
- Heike (8/5): great place - clean, comfortable the hot water wasn’t on when we came so my husband had to have a cold shower before going out
- Tony (7/5): A comfortable space with fixable shortfalls. - Comfortable, well equipped accommodation in a good location on the lakeside. A bit untidy inside(empty coffee pod boxes in the cupboard and used pods still in the machine) and rear courtyard uninviting and untidy, probably solved with a good gurney. Also if I’m paying extra for linen I would expect the beds to be made up.
