- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - When we arrived at the apartment we got a warm welcome from Maria, after a small chat she showed us the apartment and handed us the keys. We were flabbergasted by the sheer size of the apartment, big kitchen, very large living room and two large bedrooms with both a separate bathroom connected to it. The apartment has classical (antique) furniture and breathes Tuscany (peacefulness and serenity) everything was clean and the beds were just right for us, not too soft or too hard. The small town of Certaldo is a 12 minute drive from the apartment and provides everything you need, good restaurants and a large COOP supermarket to a nice train station that provides direct access to Siena and Florence (with free parking). Don't hesitate to book this apartment, it's a perfect place to relax and have everything in close proximity!!
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional - The first booking was for 3 nights, after arriving we received a warm welcome from Maria (the owner) she handed us the key and the remote of the gate. We went inside and we were flabbergasted by the sheer amount of space this apartment provided for the price. Big kitchen, big living room and 2 large rooms with separate bathrooms. The house is decorated with classical furniture and breathes peacefulness and serenity. The garden is large and opposite of the apartment lives Maria with her family. The garden gives a nice view of the winery and hills in the distance. Everything was clean and nice, so nice that we extended our stay with 2 extra nights. Certaldo is a 12 min drive from the apartment and provides everything you need, good restaurants, and a big COOP supermarket. From Certaldo you can go to Siena and Florence by train, parking is free at the station. Do not hesitate to stay here it's a wonderful apartment in a beautiful place.
