We were so tired and hungry by the time we checked in and the basket of supplies was so appreciated. Mandy was so lovely, accomodating. We will be delighted to come stay again. Nothing we could say.

• Maria (6/5): Regular debido a la ducha. - La ubicación era lejana al centro de Edimburgo pero en nuestro caso queríamos eso para poder aparcar el coche en la puerta. El autobús a 5 minutos y tarda unos 40 minutos al centro de Edimburgo. La calefacción nos costó saber usarlo pero una vez aprendimos iba genial. La cocina tenía mucho menaje cosa que agradecimos porque éramos 5 personas. El desayuno un buen detalle. La dueña súper amable y cuando tuvimos problemas con la calefacción y demás no dudó en ayudarnos y acercarse en solucionar el problema. Mi baja puntuación se debe a la ducha ya que a pesar de que la dueña me comenta que es nueva y que en Escocia son así, el agua que salía por el mango de la ducha era mínimo, y me tuve que duchar el pelo en el lavabo de las manos ya que me era imposible lavarme el pelo en la misma ducha con ese mínimo de agua. La estancia fue regular debido a ello porque es incómodo tener que estar lavándome el pelo así. Le recomendaría a la dueña que arreglara eso la verdad. Las almohadas eran muy blandas al igual que el colchón, tenía muchos agujeros.

• Katie (10/5): Just the place! - Mandys place was excellent for my birthday weekend away. We felt right at home, right near the 31 which takes you onto princes street. A shop within a minutes walk. The house is spotless, roomy and has everything you need. Mandy is just a call away and makes herself available if you need. Such a perfect place for a larger group. A lovely surprise awaited us of a complimentary breakfast basket to top it all off.

• Nico (9/5): Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt super. Gute Anbindung ins Stadtzentrum (Linie 37) - Ausstattung und Zimmer waren soweit super. Ausreichend Platz für 4 - 6 Personen Gerne wieder. Beim Frühstück darf auch gerne noch Wurst und Käse in den Kühlschrank gelegt werden. Nur Marmelade auf dem Brot ist etwas wenig. Zusätzlich wäre eine Geschirrspülmaschine hilfreich. Auch bei den Handtüchern wurde gespart. Statt wie üblich 1 x klein und 1 x groß, gab es nur 1 x groß. Man kommt aber damit zurecht.

Mandy provided lots of breakfast foods which pleasantly surprised us. We were a 5 minute walk from the bus, which goes downtown. My only comment would be that my mattress in middle bedroom was not very comfortable.

We used local taxis to get to the city but there are local buses with a walk. It’s not anything I didn’t like but things that could help out is a usb socket , a anti slip mat in the bath ( for an older person )

Good breakfast you can choose and prepare yourself from given grocery at your favorable time. Nice kitchen ready for cooking. It would help us, to know the housenumber as a first info given with directions to the key.

A very generous breakfast is provided and the host has excellent communication. Not a dislike, just to be aware that although it says 2 bathrooms, only one has a shower.

The place was so homely and wonderful, my children were very relaxed there, there were even board games out that they played and the breakfast basket was amazing, only wish we had stayed longer.
