- Sven (10/5): Rundum gelungene Auszeit in familiärer Atmosphäre. - Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich und schön von der Atmosphäre. Die Gastgeberin war auch sehr herzlich. Es gab jeden Abend leckeres Essen mit typischen Gerichten aus der Region. Vieles davon auch aus dem eigenen Garten :-) Der Strand war auch innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Rooms are simple but clean, and you don't really stay in much - there is a great garden as well with plenty of space among the trees, where we spent many afternoons, avoiding the burning sun hours. The food was delicious, home made, reasonable prices. We have spent a lot of time chatting with Amaliya and her husband, the owners. Great sense of humor and open minded. We recommend the place honestly and would consider to come back! Thank you for your hospitality Amaliya! I think that the showers could be a bit more modern, but is part of the local; style, similar design in other places.

- Barbara (9/5): Vacanza rilassante in ambiente familiare - Struttura semplice ma con tutto quello che è necessario. Possibilità di fare colazione e cena in loco a prezzi molto onesti e con materie prime ottime. La stanza che ci hanno riservato era molto spaziosa, dotata di terrazzino e di frigorifero. In dieci minuti scarsi a piedi si può accedere alla spiaggia di potami e in 30 minuti si arriva nel centro di himare. La strada è dotata di marciapiede e ben illuminata durante la notte. Accanto alla struttura vi è un super market. I padroni di casa sono gentilissimi e molto premurosi, veramente speciali. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è veramente ottimo. Il bagno con la doccia senza chiusura forse è l’unica pecca.

Decisamente soddisfatto della struttura... Esperienza fantastica da rifare. L'unica pecca se così vogliamo chiamarla e' la doccia senza un box

Очень доброжелательная семья, которая своим хорошим отношением покрывает возможные недостатки. До моря пешком действительно 10 минут. Лучше идти в левую часть пляжа, там спокойнее и лежаки подешевле. Море прекрасное. На территории отеля есть зона для завтрака/ужина или просто посидеть, если не хочешь сидеть в номере. Там действительно уютно. Еда мне лично очень понравилась,по домашнему. В номере есть кондиционер и балкон. Там так спокойно и тихо, что можно спать просто с открытым балконом. Не хватает уюта в номере. И отсутствует фен.

Le jardin est agréable et la nourriture du restaurant est très bonne. Les hôtes sont extrêmement gentils. Les chambres sont d'un style très simple, presque désuet. La dimension agrotourisme n'est pas très présente, le cadre est tout de même assez urbain et il n'y a pas d'animaux ou d'attraits particuliers.

La strada per andare al mare (che non dipende dalla struttura e i suoi proprietari): a piedi che è circa 10 minuti la strada è dissestata, invece in macchina si arriva in due minuti ma i parcheggi sarebbero poi a pagamento.

If we ever return to Albania, we will definitely visit them again. They also served delicious local cuisine on-site, which made the experience even more special. Wonderful people, a beautiful place, and memories we'll cherish forever. P.S. Our daughter still talks about those delicious little doughnuts! 😊 nothing, all was perfect :)

We have never felt more welcome and taken care of than here (maybe at nonnas place but that‘s it). The rooms are beautiful and clean and perfectly located close to the beach but away from the hustle and bustle of the strip. But the owners are what makes this place so special - always up for a chat, there to help with a recommendation or just to show that they care. Location was great, 10 minute walk to the nearest beach. Breakfast was very good. We tasted the local pettula (vergelijkbaar met een Nederlandse oliebol). Balcony very spacious and with an amazing view. Highly recommended. Just to mention something is that the bathroom whilst showering gets very wet. Maybe a shower curtain but thats not great either. So I get the choice of not putting one in.

The family that runs the hotel is incredibly nice and helpful, I have never experienced such hospitality. The garden is beautiful and you have a wonderful view of the sea. The rooms are clean and have everything you need. They also offer food that tasted really good at a fair price! If we ever go to Himare again, we will definitely come back, I recommend this accommodation to everyone!

They go an extra mile to make you feel at home. Every day they prepare homemade breakfast and dinner and serve it in the garden, which is very pleasant. (Meals not included in the room price) Sea views from the room were great. Our balcony was our favourite spot for watching the sunset Keep in mind that it is a hotel preferred by families with young kids, so usually in the garden there are 5-6 kids running around at dinner. We found that fun and enjoyable but it could be a surprise if someone is not expecting it Also, during your stay the rooms would not be made- again not an issue, but something to note

The owners are really friendly, they speak perfect English and they help with everything and give great recommendations. Also the breakfast - you should definitely try this amazing breakfast. We don't have anything to complain about.
- Chelsey (10/5): Beautiful guesthouse with amazing owners!! - One my favorite guesthouses in Albania! Amalia and her husband are so kind and welcoming, and I felt truly comfortable there right away (important for me as a solo traveler!) I was there during the beginning of May, which is still “off season” so there were only a couple other people staying there and the kitchen is not open for dinner, only for breakfast. The breakfasts were delicious!! The room was big with a balcony that had a gorgeous ocean view. The guest house is right off the main road and only a 10 minute walk from Potami Beach, and about a 20 minute walk into the town of Himare. I liked being outside the main town, and Amalia gave great recommendations for different beaches to explore nearby. I had such a wonderful stay here!! I will definitely return :)

The atmosphere of the house ist very relaxed, nothing is stressful and they try to help you ( e.g. with Aloe Vera from their garden, when you have a sunburn!). The food Amalia cooks is delicious. It ist Not far from a nice beach. WE wish we had stayed there longer. The perfect holiday!
- Aviajera (10/5): Highly recommended, better than any hotel. - Everything. The moment you enter into the beautiful garden you feel like home. Owned by a wonderful family that makes you feel like being old friends. Great location with views, 5 minutes away from the crowded town. Perfect spot for discovering other beaches nearby by car or just waking down to the local beach. We had delicious breakfasts and dinners that even though weren't included, they were worthly in price and taste.
- Michal (9/5): Superb - Very friendly and caring owners! Pleasant evening sitting in the garden and excellent dinner. Apartment is located within walking distance to the sea and the center. Not all rooms have at least a small kitchen. In any case, you can have good coffee in the bar run by the owner but we prefer to prepare breakfast for our children ourselves.

The family are truly welcoming, working so hard to make sure everyone has a good stay. That level of geniune hospitality is hard to find. The view from the garden is lovely, the rooms are spacious and well equipped, the location is quiet. And the food is really really good! So many delicious dishes i had to try them all. We loved our stay here and would happily return. Very highly recommended.
- Morgane (9/5): A perfect stay in Himare! - The bedroom was spacious with a big balcony with chairs and table and possibility to hang out your clothes. Clean. No noise from outside, quiet place. Nice jardin. Private parking with lots of seats! Possibility to eat breakfast, diner, have a coffee. 15 min walking to go to the center with restaurants/bar/beaches. The staff was nice and smiling. Depending where you are coming from it could be complicated to find the place. It is located in the roundabout/traffic circle, there is only one house, it’s this one.

- Anonymous (10/5): Amazing stay in Himare with wonderful hosts ! - Amelia and her husband were amazing hosts. This is the best place to stay in Himare. we recommend it at 100%. The common areas are very nice and well cleaned. The bathrooms are functionals but can be improved otherwise everything was perfect !

- Monika.ga (8/5): Very good - Good location - walking distance to the beach and the city while enjoying calmness of being a bit outside. Very spacious parking. Very friendly and helpful staff: family run place with all good things it implies; making the stay very comfortable. Spacious rooms with a private balcony. Nice common space - green and calm garden. Recommended stay! It would be great that there are plates, glasses and other kitchen equipment in the rooms; at least the basics. It would make all the difference in terms of quality - price.

A place you wish to come again! - We never eat more tasteful food than here, Amelia is great cook, all food we try was so tasty and fresh for reasonable prices. We were offered with lot of different dishes all kind. Lot of vegetables were from their own garden, grown organically, they made goat cheese,... Me personally "didnt like" huge portions, but i couldnt resist and leave anything in my plate :) PS: this was sarcastic, i did like huge portions but simply didnt have anything to wrote in this part
