- Paramjit (1/5): Complaint against Property Owner - Nothing I paid 2700 for the room as quoted by Booking.com than the owner charged Rs.595.00 Extra saying there was some unpaid taxes. However later I realised that it was not taxes as owner canceled the booking from his end so that he dont hve to pay the comission to Booking.com which was collected from me lately. This is ridiculous. The Owner is actually making fool of guest and booking.com Initially charging 2700 was not worth and than charging extra 595 in the name of unpaid taxes was heights of dishonesty. Further dint get hot water when need, The property was very far from the temple, The room dosent look the same as it has been posted on booking.com portal .... Staying their was peacefull because you get to hear prayers and chanting all the time . I am just upset because of the smart game played by the owner.

- Dey2001 (4/5): Avoid unless you are a saint and have very limited needs for living. - The owner is a very gentle person, always helpful and goes out of his way to accommodate requests from the guests. The construction is new, clean and the toilets are basic modern. The property is 2.5km away from Iskcon temple, and around 800 mtrs away from the main road where you can get a auto rickshaw to travel. The property at best can be called 'A Room' as there are no tea-coffee maker, no water bottles, no restaurant inside or nearby. To get lunch/dinner, one needs to travel around 2 km. There are kiosks nearby where you can buy basic grocery. The rooms are small with open ventilator so when the neighbors speak inside their rooms, one hears them loud and clear. There are no tissue papers, toilet roll, TV, safe, Iron, hangers inside the room.

- Shruti (10/5): Exceptional experience - Where to start… this was an absolutely amazing experience. Our journey from Kolkata to Mayapur was taken care of by the owner. At arrival it became clear that I had underestimated the time necessary to really experience Mayapur. But because of the exceptional guidance, hospitality, and sheer friendliness of Ananta Nimai das we had the full experience. The room itself was comfortable with AC, warm water, and complete privacy. Our trip from Mayapur back to Kolkata was again taken care of by the owner. The hospitality and friendliness did not stop at check-out. I was surprised with the kind messages asking about how we had arrived in Kolkata and how we were doing after we had left. I can wholeheartedly say that this was an experience that I can recommend to anyone.
