The views are stunning, and whil - The hosts were really lovely, responsive, gave great recommendations. The views are amazing! The unit was compact but comfortable - it had all we needed. Great location and parking. Nothing really other than the fold out sofa was not very comfortable to sit on but that is of very little importance!

- Maria (10/5): An amazing little cabin that has to be seen. A perfect place place to relax and unwind . Will definitely be going back. - The cabin was fabulous. The pictures don’t do the place justice. We stayed for two nights in November and had the nicest stay.
The cabin was spotless clean and the bed was very comfortable. The owners were very nice and we met one of them and he was so kind and helpful. We really appreciated it. Definitely will be coming back to stay again.
Location was great. Close enough to the town but just enough outside it to be in a nice quiet area. Perfect place for a relaxing time away from it all. The vue over Newcastle is brilliant from the cabin. Nothing. We could not fault anything about the place.
- Juliet (9/5): A lovely cosy stay , good value for money and perfect for a hill walking holiday in the Mournes - This cabin was perfect for climbing Slieve Donard. The trail was accessible from behind the cabin Everything was great
- Vermeij (10/5): The absolute perfect experience - Clean, cozy, warm, everything we could need was in the cabin. Everything was perfect
- Ken (10/5): Excellent all round - From the outset we felt comfortable and welcome Not applicable

- Richard (9/5): Superb location to finish our holiday. The hosts made you feel really at home. - Everything was spot on. Location, facilities comfort and the views were amazing Access was slippery at times but that was purely down to all the torrential rain we experienced.

- Bridget (9/5): -
- Gillian (9/5): Lovely cabin in a great location. - Cosy, clean and comfortable.
Had everything we needed for our stay.
Views were amazing. Access could be difficult if you had mobility issues.
- William (9/5): Peaceful stay with excellent access to the Mournes. - Nice basket of breakfast goods.
- Bridgene (5/5): In the owners BACK GARDEN - This accommodation is in the owners back garden. We felt very uncomfortable with this and this was not mentioned in the description. We thought it would be a lovely romantic private break when in fact it was the opposite. We felt like we were being watched the whole time and we were afraid to even play music to relax. Totally misleading photos and description. Coffee machine didn't work and the whole cabin was really just about passable.
- Jan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ellen (8/5): The owners had thought of everything to ensure that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. - Great location lookingout over the bay.
- Anne (9/5): Clean comfortable, good value for money - Price, location, comfort, hostess greeted us and very welcoming breakfast basket and milk in fridge On top of hill, would not be good for people with disabilities. Parking at other end of house
- Theresa (10/5): Amazing Value - We had a fantastic stay. The views on a clear day are fabulous all the way down to the seafront. Loved the direct access to the woods for a walk and how private the cabin is despite being on someone's property. Hosts were fantastic. We were given tonnes of local recommendations and tips, and they were available to help with any questions or issues. The cabin has everything you could need for the stay! It was also exceptionally quiet at night being so far up from the main road which was great. Nothing
- Axel (9/5): Superb - Everything you need.
Frindly, direct access to the Mournes and great views over the beach.
Breakfast pack had all you could wish for. the bed is on the soft side
- Jacquie (9/5): Lovely cosy property - Lovely cosy property with a lot of attention to detail. Accommodation had everything we needed, with lovely views over Newcastle and also access to woodland tracks behind. There was also a generous welcome pack. We had a visit from a red deer and also encountered deer in the woodlands close by. There is a steep path and steps up to the property.
- Caroline (10/5): I enjoyed just lying up relaxing ready while the birds chirped away, i really was looking piece and quiet and got. - The couple were great hosts they have thought of everything to make the stay like home from home, with all the essential. It was a relaxing few days. The scenery was beautiful. Will definitely stay again.
- Avery (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gary (7/5): Good - Beautiful location nice get away... beautiful hosts ...would stay again but a few things need sprucing up... Sofa bed was horrendous....no padding or shape to it...plus no bedding for it...no selection of pillows just two different ones for main bed none for sofa bed...watching TV on it... my backside got numb....this needs changed i know its not the only complaint about it.... the cabin is lovely but needs tended to paint ways , outside and in...the decking is rotting in places.... 🙏.....
- Fara (9/5): Fabulous wee retreat. - Everything, it's was cute comfortable, had a stunning view and everything you needed. There where nice little touches, milk and breakfast choices. Quick access to Donard Park. There was nothing we didn't like. Unfortunately just seemed to be an issue with the shower but it didn't spoil our stay. Would definitely stay again.
- Christopher (10/5): Exceptional -

- Declan (10/5): Exceptional - excellent location for a short break
- Louise (10/5): A thoroughly enjoyable stay! Extremely clean, beautiful views and comfortable stay - Very clean, tidy and fully equipped with all you need. The sofa was slightly uncomfortable after a while as it was a fold up/sofa bed. An actual 2 seater sofa would definitely work better.
- Kaylee (10/5): Lovely “wee” cabin close to the bay! - Absolutely loved the view and how cozy the cabin was! Host was lovely and gave us tons of recommendations! They even offered to light the fire pit for us! It was perfect for a 2 people and had everything we could need. 100/10! Would definitely stay again!

The cabin was well equipped with everything you needed for self contained. our hosts left us lovely breakfast goodies to enjoy & the bed was so comfy. There really wasn't anything to dislike 😊
- Seamus (9/5): Above all, the accommodation was value for money enhanced by superb hosts. - Venue and Hosts Lack of comfort so far as sofa and limited space in bathroom.
- Peter (9/5): Excellent host and stay. Would 100% return - Great location close to town and very cosy stay
- Seana (9/5): Superb - The view, the Facilities and the breakfast hamper The sofa, maybe a recliner would be. Better for the tv, I maybe didn't like the fact it was in the backyard off the house but again it was totally private when the blinds are down
- Fagan (9/5): Superb -
- Donald (10/5): Very friendly host, Nothing was too much trouble, would visit again - Breakfast was Continental,
Good size for two people, comfortable, great views and sunsets
Great for destressing! Would suggest for breakfast, addition of juice and selection of spreads, - marmite!
- Sarah-marie (10/5): Clean, comfortable and well equipped cabin. Very handy for the town, the mountains and the sea. - Excellent location with stunning views. Very comfortable and well equipped cabin. Campbell and Kristi could not have been more friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back to stay. Genuinely we loved everything. (The pillows were perhaps too high….but that is very minor)
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was amazing and comfortable would definitely be back and recommend for a peaceful and comfortable stay. The hosts were amazing N/A
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional - Stunning view.
- Dylan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zoe (9/5): Lovely short break in a beautiful area of Northern Ireland. - It had a great view of Newcastle and the Mourne mountains; it was very accessible to Newcastle town where I could go out and eat in the evening. It was ideally situated to visit Tollymore park and the Silent Valley. There was a little hitch with the TV, however that was caused by some local transmission work. It was resolved the next day.
- Martin (9/5): Excellent stay. Smart accommodation. - Wonderful and friendly hosts. Very nice, modern and faultless facilities. Very well maintained. Stocked with breakfast food.. Netflix, coffee machine, comfortable bed. Great views of the area. Much feel no stone left unturned. Nothing. It's a 15 minute walk to Newcastle but that is hardly a complaint. It is in a back garden of the house but very peaceful and felt good in terms of privacy.
- Judith (9/5): Ideal location for those wanting to hike in the mountains. - The cabin is in a lovely location in Newcastle. Excellent for walking on the Mournes or heading down to the town and beach. The owner is helpful and friendly, takes time to check (by WhatsApp ) periodically that everything is okay for you. Very pleasant relaxing at the table outside. Nothing to dislike really. I didn't really need the heating as it was good weather, any warmer and I would have needed to work out how to open the windows! The steep steps could be a challenge for the less able.
- Simon (10/5): Great hosts in a great location. - Continental breakfast with hosts being particularly amenable to any requests you might have.
- Mary (8/5): Very good - Well presented, decorated & clean cabin. Location perfect for hiking Mourne mountains & close to town centre also.
Campbell, the host was very personable & provided us with information for our stay. A breakfast basket was provided & replenished during our stay. Really enjoyed our 3 nights at the cabin. Everything was lovely
- Gafyn (10/5): Spot on👌 Great place, great people. - Brilliant place, spot on for me on my cycling holiday. Brilliant location for going up Slieve Donard.
Hosts are lovely people, would definitely stay again.
Cheers 😁✌️
