Carl (2/5): Very low standard care for the rooms. If I paid £40/£50 then fair enough. But £80 was too much. Can get better cheap - Spacious. Could easily do so much more with that space to make it better Bathroom stunk. Opened the cupboards and it stunk of smoke. Bed was like concrete, don’t believe me? Book it and try. Absolutely solid.

Millie (2/5): Wouldn’t recommend. - Bedding was white and clean along with a cosy feel. The location was in the centre of Birmingham so if needing that very useful. We were staying in Birmingham for the one night for a Concert at the 02 which was pretty close to the property, However after the concert we returned back to the property to get ready for bed and at around midnight saw figured on the other side of the door and they tried the door handle multiple times, luckily for us as two young girls staying there we had locked the door but this scared us so much that we didn’t end up staying the night and drove back home to Manchester half an hour later after the incident, this was a very scary experience. There was also a weird smell coming from the bathroom along with banging. In a rough area.

Bruno (7/5): - Buona la posizione a 10 minuti a piedi dal centro commerciale Bullring ed altrettanti dal centro. Birmingham è una città medio-grande con un centro molto racchiuso; in 15 minuti dal centro si visita tutto quello che può essere di interesse. La camera di per se, e solo per dormirci, va bene. Molto spazioso il bagno e comoda la doccia. il terzo letto si limita ad un divano, nella camera 9 è presente il microonde, il bollitore e il tostapane, ma nulla di più La porta del frigorifero strofina sulla moquette, basterebbe poco per risolvere il problema. Purtroppo durante la notte la nostra vettura a noleggio ha subito il furto di alcuni ricambi rendendola impossibile da spostare

The local building works made it difficult to get to, but that's no fault of the venue. We needed to get an Uber just to take us round the HS2 site, due to New Canal Street being closed off. Wish we'd known before trying to walk there. But Google maps wasn't helping either. But again, not the venue's fault.

kathryn (3/5): Disappointing and uncomfortable - The property felt secure and was close to the hippodrome. Considering the property sleeps 5 adults it was poorly stocked. There were only 6 very thin pillows, and there was no bottom sheet on the sofa bed. We had to use towels to bolster the pillows and to cover the stain on the sofa. I tried to contact the host but have never received a reply. The beds were hard and we all had a very uncomfortable nights sleep. We planned to eat a meal together however there were only 2 chairs at the table, only 4 sets of crockery and cutlery, and a random selection of cups and glasses. The kitchen had very few utensils. The walls were in dire need of some paint as it is all chipped, there was something splashed up the wall in the bathroom and the towel radiator is rusty. To top it all a car was stripped and dumped outside during the night.

Phil (6/5): Clean and quiet but quite small room for three lacked a few comforts and amenities but was adequate - The location was actually pretty quiet, the windows shut out any noise and there's no trains past 11pm-midnight from Moor St station. The room was clean enough, and most essential supplies were available Breakfast was not included, but the cooking facilities looked ok The fold out sofa-bed was child sized and very close to the main double bed. All the mattresses were quite hard and there was only one duvet between 3 of us. Fortunately i stayed with two good friends, but you'd have to know your fellow guests quite well to be/feel comfortable. A squishy cushioned sofa, settee or any seating (beyond a white bench/side table) wouldn't go amiss There were no milk cartons/sachets or similar for the tea and coffee The fact there's no overnight staff i imagine may mean some guests (especially lone women or those who can't afford/access anywhere else) feel unsafe

Faye (9/5): Except for the two serious faults (see above), everything was perfect (4/5 stars). - Room 2: Everything was brilliant, except NOWHERE TO SIT DOWN and NO INSTRUCTIONS FOR TV REMOTE (see below). IF you can fix these two things we would give you 5/5 STARS (and definitely come again). 1: Our room (Room 2) has NOWHERE TO SIT DOWN !!!!! The room URGENLY needs a table for two with two chairs (for example, a picnic set for two) underneath the TV screen. We had to stand up at the kitchenette (or stand around the fridge and use the top of the fridge as a table) to have our breakfast. 2: I spend AGES trying to work out how to get the TV remote to give us regular TV channels. AN INSTRUCTION SHEET FOR THE REMOTE CONTROL is essential.

Philip (9/5): Warm, clean, comfortable & convenient, with good facilities. - Clean, warm and comfortable. very close to the city centre, but also secluded and secure. Great facilities. I was only stopping off overnight, but could have comfortably stayed - preparing and cooking my own meals - for a week. Was initially worried about on-street parking, as hotel was under a railway bridge in a remote and graffiti-coverered area of the city, but my car was fine. Water was dangerously hot. I scalded myself twice - once on the mini radiator immediately next to the shower room sink, then again when washing up in the kitchenette. The bathroom had no mirror. I nearly went shopping to buy a small hand mirror, before I found one on the wall behind the front door.

Samuel (5/5): Not the worst but some let downs - Good price, the immediate surroundings isn't nice however less than 10 min walk from the center The toilet wasn't cleaned properly, there was wee behind the seat and few marks on the seat. The shower cubicle had a few marks and 1 or 2 crumbs on the floor. It was cheap and I only stayed for one night. Messaged the host but no response.

The apartment is comfortable, and it’s great that it comes with a fully equipped kitchen ideal if you need to cook during a longer stay. There’s even a washing machine, so everything is practical and well-kept. The bed is firm and ensures good sleep, though softer pillows would be a welcome improvement. The check-in is smooth, self check-in and check-out, making it all easy. Plus, parking outside is ample. Overall, a convenient and pleasant stay.

Sai (4/5): Poor experience - Nothhing The surroundings were very noisy despite being told there were soundproof walls. After the first day, the hot water stopped and I had to contact the host to resolve it. The location was poor, not clean, and I did not feel safe during my stay.
theo (6/5): A disappointing stay - Compact, well equipped, 2 toasters , kitchenette but no hair dryer. Washer/dryer and fridge but no mirror in the bathroom. Location was next to a construction area as it is being redeveloped. At night entertainment somewhere in the building as they were auditioning the drummers from hell. They were all winners. Same the next night but not for long. No hot water for a shower on day 2. Fixable I am sure. Bed was too short to stretch in.

Janine (1/5): Do not recommend! Dodgy area!! - Nothing I didn’t actually make it inside. When I arrived, the area was very run down and didn’t feel safe. The hotel is located next to an abandoned factory with the windows blown out in an industrial estate. There is no safe parking and I didn’t want to leave my car on the street, esp because the area doesn’t look safe. The room was non refundable but I decided to book somewhere else because I put my safety first.

Easy access and hassle free checking in For some reason there were two or three guys bringing black bags out of the premises at midnight.
