• Tim (9/5): - The staff were very friendly and helpful. They cooked delicious meals. They also helped us organise a driver for a day trip. Nothing was too much trouble. If you are worried about your room being suspended over the ocean, ask for one of the two end rooms which are situated further back from the cliff edge.

• Adamson (7/5): ok but too high priced for what you get - very run down. On arrival our AC leaked very bad. Mold in the room and leaking everywhere. Its sad because it has the potential to be good! better cleaning and clean the mold!!

Water stream wasn’t strong for shower. Rust stains on the ceiling and floor of toilet. Constant noice can be heard from nearby boats or engine around the jetty
• schoppsa (6/5): - Die Villa Redemptorist ist ein nette Unterkunft direkt am Hafen mit tollem Ausblick auf den Hafen und das Meer. Mein Zimmer war sauber, alles war in Ordnung. Die Damen, die für Check-In und Check-Out zuständig sind, waren lieb und hilfsbereit. Ich hatte das Gefühl die Klimaanlage kannte nur kalt, auch wenn ich sie auf 24-26 Grad geschaltet habe. Ich habe sie daher nachts ausgestellt. Da die Zimmer aber direkt über dem Meer liegen, gab es immer genügend frischen Wind. Das Essen fand ich dort nicht so berauschend. Aber für 1-2 Tage alles okay.
• Marleen (6/5): Verblijf van 3 nachten om Sumba te ontdekken. - De locatie is voortreffelijk en het personeel was heel lief en de maaltijden werden vers gekookt. Heerlijk. Zelfs het ontbijt werd voor je klaargemaakt. Douche gedeelte ,pal naast toiletpot. ik heb de hele ruimte lekker kleddernat gemaakt tijdens het douchen.
• Venessa (7/5): Great views and friendly staff, beautiful tidal pool at high tide. A bit overrated and the restaurant has limited fooda - It was a beautiful setting alongside the ocean with beautiful views. Very rural and isolated which can be expected for an island property. More could be done to make the entrance look like less of a construction site. Upon arrival it is very confusing with no signs and rocky paths instead of a driveway, there is no reception desk at all. The rooms are clean but the hot water runs out within 5 minutes. The most disappointing aspect was the kitchen which looks unhygienic and had dirty water sitting in a dish for washing up. I would not book it again.

• Pace (7/5): Fare il massimo con poco - La posizione è bellissima perché si affaccia direttamente sul porto e sul mare. Dormirai con il rumore del mare in sottofondo. Il mercato del pesce è a due passi. Il personale è molto gentile ed accogliente. L'ambiente è molto rilassato. Le stanze sono un po' vecchie ma pulite. Il bagno pulito. Il bagno è funzionale ma da ristrutturare. La colazione è essenziale e non c'è scelta (ti porteranno solo riso e omelette, con caffè e tè, e banane), ma gustosa.
• Emma (10/5): - Un grand merci au personnel qui a été là pour nous durant tout le séjour. Ayant eu un accident et ne pouvant plus marcher, le personnel nous a été d’une grande aide, toujours bienveillant et très serviable. Encore merci !

• Nizar (10/5): Penginapan Hidden Gem di Sumba Barat Daya - Pelayanan sangat ramah dan bisa membuat kita nyaman seperti di rumah sendiri, saya bisa banyak tukar cerita dan benar2 di layani dengan sangat baik. Pemandangan disini benar2 bintang 5, depan kamar langsung laut utara sumba apalagi konsep kamar mandi yg memiliki boven tanpa kaca membuat kita bisa mendengarkan dan merasakan angin ombak namun tetap merasa nyaman dan privasi karena tinggi pohon yang hampir 3 meter dan hanya mengarah ke laut. Fasilitas kamar dan hospitality yang saya dapatkan sangat istimewa, awalnya saya sempat ragu karena posisi yang sedikit jauh dari pusat kota namun ternyata saya seperti menemukan hidden gem karena fasilitas mulai air hangat, perlengkapan mandi yg lengkap serta kebersihan kamar yg sangat bersih dan nyaman. Selain itu, restoran yang berada di depan area kamar sangat strategis sehingga saya bisa menikmati makanan dan minuman yang harganya relatif sangat murah untuk hotel sebagus itu dan tempat yg jauh dari keramaian bagi saya mulai 25k saja kalau tidak salah sehingga saya tidak khawatir dengan makanan, dan rasanya sangat enak bagi saya yg lidah jawa.. ikan kuah asam dan kentang gorengnya juara 😃 Layanan antar jemput bandara secara gratis dan kita bisa memilih waktu serta jamnya yg membuat pengalaman saya sangat dimanjakan sebagai seorang guest yg baru pertama ke kabupaten sumba barat daya. Kalau saya ke sumba barat daya lagi, saya langsung pesan hotel ini karena dengan seluruh fasilitas yg saya dapatkan, saya hanya membayar harga yg ekonomis dan di bawah rate SBM Instansi. Istimewa Lampu untuk kamar yg di pojok ketika malam kalau bisa di nyalakan ya agar tidak terkesan menyeramkan, tapi selain itu semuanya istimewa
• Norwati (8/5): Very good - A quiet location with a spectacular view. It was great having Om Theo's free airport transfer service included. The menu was limited, especially when chicken or beef tended to run out too quickly. I didn't sleep well on my first night there from scratching in my sleep. There might’ve been bed bugs on my bed, but when I was in a different room a week later, I slept like a baby.

• Christine (5/5): Passable - A lovely harbour view with friendly staff. Good if you want to be near the mosque with long,50 min 4.20am call to prayer. The noise from the mosque making sleep impossible at 4.20 to 5.10am. A very limited restaurant menu
• Teo (1/5): Wouldn’t recommend to anyone. - Close by the airport . Firstly we were the only guests at the hotel. The room we were given was ok small. There was no place to hang or put our stuff . No cupboards and when we asked to change rooms as there was vacancy it was a not possible . We explained that there was no where for us to hang our stuff and the other room had a cupboard. The restaurant at most mediocre and price was not that cheap. The place was really empty and even tho we had the sea view it was impossible to swim as there was no way down without having a fall. There was nothing around and the whole place was rather dark . I wouldn’t recommend it for the price we paid . Finally we moved ourselves to another hotel which was much better , had a pool and the beach front . Don’t stay here as it was not cheap. Felt cheated for the price we paid.

• Pedro (10/5): Perfect stay in sumba with beautiful views and cloae to the airport. - The best part of the stay was definitely the staff, Monica to be more precise. She made us feel so welcome. The sheets were clean and smelled well, warm water, beautiful sea views and goof air conditioning and the breakfast was great. We wanted to rent a bike and the staff in 20 min arranged us a great bike and also a driver to bring us to the airport. Thank you again Monica and the other girls for our amazing stay. We enjoyed everything.
• Irena (10/5): An authentic stay with locals close to Tambolaka with ocean sound - This is a great spot to start your journey in Sumba. Next to the ocean this place belongs to a community and is real, it is run by locals who will assist you with all your needs. The rooms are simple, but very clean and unbeatable for the price, even with AC. The ladies working there were so sweet and nice, they organized a pick-up from the airport, a scooter to rent, and I could even store my luggage with them while I was away for a few days. The breakfast was rich and also yummy dinner options available. I felt very good. nothing

• Scrase (3/5): Poor - Nothing The location of this place is very remote with no other places to eat or drink. There is absolutely nothing else in the local area, you must have transport to do or go anything
• Whitu (6/5): Pleasant - Room was very clean and staff super helpful always did their best for every request to keep me happy. The view from private balcony is awesome see the local fisherman and watch the sunset. It's 10 minutes by scooter a little away from the local hub but not to far. You will definitely need a scooter there are no taxis here. I really want this place to be better. The menu needs more variety for both local and western. The fried chicken was bad frozen pre cooked chicken defrosted in microwave. I didn't eat there much in my 3 day stay. The twin room was small for 2 beds and no storage for clothes. Spare bed was the wardrobe lol. The wifi was down for 2 days and sometimes the power dropped out for a couple hours. Has potential needs work. .
