• Laura (10/5): - Hopefully this review will encourage some other solo travelers to visit Andros, I kinda fell in love with the island. After some crazy days in Athens it felt like a retreat to stay here for some days. The room is basically a small studio apartment where you can also cook. The owner picked me up from the bus station when I arrived and gave me some fresh lemons, so sweet. The kitchen is well equipment with also basics that you can use, even there was water and fruit juice for me in the fridge.They also offered to take me back to the bus station after check out but it was okay for me since it was just a small walk and I didn't have much luggage. Chora is a cute town with a lot of stories and also some museums. When I visited (end april) is was visibly low season though. The view from the room is lovely. You can do a lot of nice walking trails and they are super well marked. It takes you through ancient paths between cute (and calm) villages. It's a great place to experience the real Greek life. Trail 17 starts really close from the guesthouse too and I highly recommend it. Also trail 1 was beautiful. The little bath was so nice to use after a long day of hiking... Thank you so much for everything! Nothing!

• Sophie (9/5): Acceuil, vue sur la nature, situation - Très belle vue sur la campagne, logement bien situé à 10 min du centre de Chora, 5 min d' un supermarché. Idealement central pour arpenter les nombreux et magnifiques sentiers de cette partie de l'ile. Logement spatieux, bien équippé, de quoi se preparer 1 premier petit dejeuner. Et surtout un accueil adorable de Mr Leonidas qui est venu nous chercher au bus le jour de Pâques! Des friandises de Pâques nous attendaient et Leonidas était toujours la pour repondre à nos questions. Merci pour tout Mr Leonidas! Nous espérons revenir!

• Aleksandra (10/5): Early spring in Andros - From the very first contact we genuinely felt extremely well taken care of... Leonidas and his son Nikos replied very quickly to all our questions, gave us great recommendations for hiking routes and other places worth visiting on the island. They also have a website where you can find a lot of useful information, including names of beaches, restaurants and other tips for exploring Andros, which was a very nice touch. What we appreciated the most was that from the moment you make a reservation you truly feel like their guest, not just another booking :)) It was clear that they really care about people enjoying their stay on the island - when we were unable to reach Andros because of the ferry strike, they even offered us the possibility to stay one extra night for free so that we could actually use the number of nights we had originally booked, even though they absolutely didn't have to do that. We are very grateful for that gesture and for the way you hosted us, it honestly felt like being welcomed by someone who genuinely cares about their guests ❤️ Since this is the section that everyone always reads, I'll mention the biggest downside of our trip: seeing how empty the island was. In early March the weather was around 15°C with beautiful sunshine, perfect conditions for hiking on the incredibly well prepared Andros trails. The views were absolutely stunning and the atmosphere was amazing, yet during almost 50 km of hiking over two days we met barely anyone. On the first day we literally didn't see a single person on the trail, which is quite crazy, given that the start of the trail is connected with Gavrio by bus... Nowadays nearly whole Europe is very well connected with Athens airport and the ferry from Rafina takes less than two hours! This island really has enormous potential, not only in July and August.. I unfortunately don't have photos of the room itself, but I'll add some photos of what we saw during those two days - maybe it will encourage someone to visit Andros in the spring :)

A kettle would improve the kitchen facilities. Water took ages to boil on the cooker hob. A bit of a walk to the town or beach, although that wasn't a problem for us. Maybe for others it would be. Having said that, the owner very kindly offered to drive us to the bus station as we left. Nothing to affect the overall rating

• Stamatios (10/5): A Greek oasis for your Andros holiday - The location of the property was perfect, just 5-10min walk from the centre of Chora and the beach. Our room had a view overlooking the hills and it was great to sit outisde in the morning enjoying your coffee, or later in the evening and it was very quiet. The apartment was very clean had everything you need to enjoy your holidays. There was Greek coffee and sugar waiting for us in the kitchen, as well as butter, orange juice, cheese and water in the fridge. There was even a bottle of extra virgin olive oil to use!!! Not to mention the washing machine which came really handy. The host, Mr Leonidas, is well known to the area and he is one of the most hospitable and friendly people you will ever meet. There was nothing we did not like about this place and the host.

Location is great, walking distance from the center of Chora Andros , where you find supermarkets, lots of shops, coffee places, backer’s and restaurants. Also 10 min max from the beach. View is stunning and super quiet during day and night. We never used the air con because the breeze is fantastic. You can also du laundry and it dries in 30 min, due to the breeze. You have a back patio where you can have lunch, if you don’t like the balcony. Super comfy bed and good breakfast base to have handy. The father of Nikos also helped us a lot with our motorcycle ♥️♥️ thank you! Nothing

The view from the patio was just stunning of the mountain and sea and there were nibbles left for the guest. • Libe (8/5): Nice place to discover Andros - Nice and clean apartment with everything you need for a couple of days. They had the lovely detail of leaving some stuff for breakfast as well. The host didn't speak much English but was always there when we needed him. Nice balcony with valley views. ευχαριστώ Leonidas! You could hear the noise from the apartment above, which was sometimes a bit loud in the mornings. The location is good but not in the heart of the town, which makes it easy to park but a short walk to shops and restaurants. I would just add a small sign outside with the name of the guesthouse so you know you have arrived at the right place :)

La cucina è ben arredata, c’era tutto il necessario per la prima colazione con caffè, fette biscottate, burro e marmellata, succo di frutta. Il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e lo ringraziamo molto! La camera è spaziosa e molto pulita.
