• Frances (10/5): Ideal inside and out - The location was perfect, ideal for town and countryside, and all necessary facilities provided. But it was the landlords' anticipation of the 'little things' and sense of style that really made our stay. The flat was so good that it is churlish to complain about anything but perhaps a little more 'hanging space' would have been welcome but this doesn't take away the 11 out 10 score!

It was warm, comfortable with a lovely view across the road to the gardens. It had a lovely bay window with bucket chairs. A great place to sit in the light with a coffee and a good book. It was a great place to relax and use as a base to explore the island. Mark couldn’t have been more helpful. Nothing that comes to mind. The portrait of King Charles in the living room was a bit weird but not a criticism.

• Ben (10/5): Perfect 5 night stay close to Douglas Prom - The hosts Mark and Jason were very welcoming fron before we'd even arrived on the Isle, and after meeting us at check in, provided a great experience start to finish. The apartment was very clean and well appointed, a genuine home-from-home that we settled straight into. Great location 10 mins walk from Douglas promenade, and the TT paddock, ideal for us visiting on foot for the Manx GP Genuinely have nothing to write in 'didn't like' section!

The host offered to collect us from the airport for a fee, which we accepted and made things so much easier. The location was good the only problem was that it was on a hill, which was a bit too much for my mum and the spare beds were too firm.

• Elaine (10/5): Fabuolus apartment. - We stayed in Apartment 2 on the 2nd floor.Beautiful spacious apartment with everything you could wish for for a home form home stay, 30 mins walk from the Ferry, 5 minutes to the promenade and there is a Tesco express 5 minutes away which doesn't show up on Google maps unless you ask specifically for Tesco not grocery stores. We did not meet our hosts but a request for a missing cafetiere was answered in minutes with the missing item waiting when we got back from getting groceries. Silly thing but the bathroom tap is a triumph of design over practicality!

• Chris (10/5): Absolutely stunning - Everything about this stay was amazing, Mark contacted the week before with all of the information needed, even offering collection from the airport, help with the luggage and milk in the fridge, all little touches that made us know we'd booked a nice place, when we arrived, I couldn't get the camera out to video fast enough, the pictures on the site don't do it justice, I just thought WOW, it's absolutely stunning, you can tell they've put so much care and attention to detail into the decor and all amenities, we really couldn't fault anything about the apartment, we had friends stay in one of the other apartments, had to pop around to see if there's was as good as ours and unsurprisingly, it was equally as good, if not BETTER. This will now be my go-to booking every time we visit the island.

• Steven (10/5): Nice apartment in quiet location close to Douglas centre - Nice modern apartment in a quiet location close to Douglas centre. Well equipped with everything needed for a short stay. Hosts Mark and Jason were very welcoming and very responsive to communications leading up to the stay. Certainly recommended and would visit again. On street car parking around the apartment is time limited from Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm (2 Hours Max), as is the case in most of the IOM's town/city regions. Parking discs were provided however by hosts, so parking proved only a mild inconvenience in reality.

We got an upgrade to a larger apartment, at no cost. It had a bedroom, a living room (with a comfortable sofa for two,a table with two chairs, a cofee table), a bathroom and a kitchen with table and sitting for three) Beatiful view towards greenish Hutchinson square, the sea and parts of the city. Absolutely nothing.

• Neil (9/5): Very enjoyable - The property was a good size and reasonably well equipped, in a reasonably accessible location (20 minutes walk from the ferry port), with a selection of good restaurants suggested by the hosts. A problem with the shower screen was quickly attended to. The bed was a little too firm. Whilst the apartment was generally well equipped, the amount of crockery was limited.

• Grace (9/5): Stunning apartments! - Modern and very nicely decorated apartments, which were very clean and well kept with a brilliant view from top floor and had everything we needed. It was equipped with everything needed for a self catering apartment from kitchen utensils/cleaning products to iron and hair dryer and plenty of wardrobe/cupboard space. In a good location and always found a parking space outside and is just a 5 minute walk from the sea front. Will definitely be returning in future and recommend staying here! The hallway area/entrance wasn't in keeping with the apartments, just needs a slight face lift but that is being picky as the apartments themselves are so lovely!

• Andy (8/5): An enjoyable visit to Douglas and a comfortable apartment. - The property is comfortable, well-appointed and within walking distance of the various facilities and attractions in Douglas. The hosts were very helpful and readily provided assistance when it was needed (as I was unwell during our stay). Communication by WhatsApp or phone worked well and we had a visit from the host shortly after arrival. The property is in a pleasant area of Douglas, opposite some gardens. From the windows in apartment 2 there was a view along the seafront which was particularly attractive when all lit up after dark. It's worth pointing out that to walk to the property from the seafront there was a 7 minute walk uphill. Whilst we are reasonably fit this could be an issue for some.

• Gareth (10/5): Amazing Apartment Wow - What a place this is. Wow. It is so spacious, clean and everything you need. If you are going to Douglas this is the place to stay. We will definitely be coming back here to stay. We have stayed in many apartments in Douglas and this is the best by far. Thank you Mark.

The quality of the fittings throughout and equipment provided in the kitchen are of high quality. Nice decor and comfortable bed. Separate living room, separate kitchen, all spotlessly clean. Excellent communication from the hosts. It is up a steep hill from the seafront - not far but might be relevant for the elderly or those less mobile. Our flat was 2 floors up steep, dark stairs, which was a problem for my husband.

• Teresa (9/5): Well equipped apartment in suburban house - Well equipped clean apartment with excellent shower. We enjoyed Alexa. Other occupants of the building were always leaving the front door open, so there was little security. Quite a hike up from sea level followed by climbing stairs to the top floor, so not for those with reduced mobility. No views, but instead overlooks a noisy morning nursery, so not for those with reduced tolerance for shouting children and their even noisier carers. Surburban location with not much immediately around if you want to eat out: better to walk into town along the coast (or, if you have a GoExplore card, try the Terminus Tavern in the opposite direction). Rather expensive. The information sheet provided needs updating: some places are closed.

The apartment was really clean. The facilities available in the apartment were also excellent. If you didn’t want to dine out there was everything you could think of to make a meal. Shower/bathroom was also spacious and again clean. Hosts made themselves available if we needed anything else during our stay. We were right at the top of the building and even though we are fit enough it was quite an effort to climb the stairs.

• Bleddyn (10/5): Best holiday ever in a great place to stay - Mark and Jason were more than helpful, and provided clear instructions on how to access the apartment. The location is amazing, and the view from apartment 3 is stunning. You can see over all of Douglas, with a great view of the sea. The kids loved watching the ferry out of the window. Everything was clean and modern, and they even provided a handy guidebook on how to work things and places to eat nearby. Everything was perfect. There was nothing that I didn't like.

I could relax here and found it easy to get to where I wanted by walking, bus and train. Kitchen good, the shower was great. Overall very comfortable. Bed was a bit disappointing. Adequate but the obvious 2 single beds put together didn't work very well as the gap was big. It was also light in the room at 5am.
• Linda (10/5): Looking forward to next time! - Super friendly owner, easy to communicate when I had questions (although everything was on the app or in the information book inside). Very easy to park and Amadeus Apartments supplied the parking disc. Convenient for town and a lovely square overlooking green space but very peaceful. The apartment was spotless, very comfy bed and cool decor with everything thought of. Great to have cupboards with condiments, tea, coffee and milk etc. I can’t stand stuffy hotel rooms! The apartments allowed options for straightforward heating and ventilation control. The bathroom mirror was never steamed up and the water temperature was good too. Pressure great. Such a comfy bed! I slept like a log. I can’t fault the apartment and will definitely use Amadeus again.

• Viola (10/5): Amadeus birthday treat - Myself and my partner are just back from our stay at Amadeus apartment for his 70th birthday, it is a really quiet residential area, with a view over hutchinson park, the apartment has all the equipment you'll need for self catering, it is spotlessly clean and tidy, plenty of fluffy towels and bed linen. The bed is so comfy. If you like us don't drive there is a bus stop 2 streets away outside a place called " my dolly's" which takes you into town on the 22H bus, the stop to bring you back is at lord street bus station you get the 25H bus and get of at princes/ Victoria street stop which is across the street from where you got on. The taxi service is also amazing it's only £6-£7 into city centre or back again. We purchased a Go explore heritage card which entitles you to all travel on buses, electric train. Steam train, and horse drawn tram as well as entry to heritage sites, it is so handy and saves a lot of money. There is a local shop which is great for essentials, you walk up to the end of the street turn left and it's at the bottom and turn the corner, there is an excellent chippy there as well. We also got a pizza delivered by order on the phone by a place nearby called pizza Napoli, it was also very nice. The villa cafe is also excellent on the promenade, and if you get a chance catch a show at the Gaiety Theatre it's got beautiful decor inside.There is another beautiful park nearby called Nobles park, it is located at the top of the street and turn right. We had a meal out in Titan on Broadway which is also walking distance, it was fabulous, the steak is amazing, the staff are so friendly and nice, you won't be disappointed. You can't pick a better location than this, it truly is fabulous. The owners are very nice, they keep in touch and are at the end of a phone if you need them. We had a wonderful time and definitely will be back. Not meeting the owners in person
