He helped me so much I will never be grateful enough… The place is very clean, near the ocean, and you can hear the waves at night. It felt like family… I can only recommend to go there, anytime.
• Alex (8/5): Un endroit de rêve - Les Bungalows sont sur la plage. Le soleil se couche droit en face. L'endroit est magique. Le personnel très souriant et à l'écoute. Il ne faut pas être pressé pour manger, toutefois c'est très bon. Service à table trop long.

Viande, légumes, fruits, il y a du choix - Le logement est très bien placé, en face d’une belle plage - Le bungalow est confortable et propre - Nous avons fait une journée de visite des îles au alentours et c’était vraiment magnifique On recommande mille fois ce logement ! Excellent rapport qualité / prix
• Jessica (9/5): Le paradis des îles Mentawaï ! - Nous avons passé une petite semaine dans ce havre de paix.. et nous n’avons pas été déçu ! 🙏 Le personnel est chaleureux et d’une gentillesse folle, ils font tout pour vous mettre à l’aise et vous faire sentir comme à la maison ! Mention spéciale à Wahyu qui a été au petit soin avec nous, hyper arrangeant et qui nous a même aidé à programmer la suite de notre trip, vraiment adorable ! 😍 Le cadre est absolument incroyable, les pieds dans le sable, face à la mer, calme et reposant, avec des bungalow hyper propres et confortables, un vrai petit coin de paradis, proche de tout, avec des petits commerces accessibles à pieds, a seulement 5 minutes ! Pour le restaurant, bien qu’il en ait dans les environs, nous avons décidé de manger ici matin, midi et soir, tant la nourriture est excellente et peu chère ! Et bien sûr, on prend notre repas sur la plage, c’est juste parfait 🙏 Vraiment, un des plus bel endroit où nous avons séjourné durant nos 6 mois en Asie du Sud est, vous pouvez y aller les yeux fermés !
• Sebastien (7/5): Bien - Très bel emplacement avec vue sur la mer. Chambre confortable. La plage n’était pas nettoyée, avec beaucoup de plastique et de détritus. Attention c’est aussi à cause de la saison des pluies. C’est dommage pour un emplacement aussi beau. Le petit-déjeuner est également servi assez tardivement.

• Jeannette (2/5): Viel Luft nach oben - Meerblick Trotz meiner verspäteten Ankunft (durch Fähre) war das Zimmer weder gerichtet noch der Schlüssel da. Frühstück gab es erst, wenn Personal im Restaurant ankam. Das konnte mal früher und mal später sein. Im Garten der Unterkunft wohnte ein obdachloser Mensch, der auch schon mal anfragte, ob er mit im Zimmer übernachten dürfe. In der Bucht hört man regelmäßig - täglich diverse Karaokeshows. Diese Karaokeabende finden auch manchmal im Garten der Unterkunft statt. Neben unserem Bungalow wurde während des Aufenthaltes ein weiterer Bungalow gebaut. Weitere Themen waren ein Wasserrohrbruch, Müll neben der Terrasse, die kalte Dusche und Besucher auf dem Gelände. Der Besuch wurde von mir vorzeitig abgebrochen.

• Chloe (9/5): - L'emplacement sur la plage est magnifique. La bungalow a littéralement les pieds dans le sable. La chambre et la salle de bain sont récentes et propres, la terrasse est grande et équipée de chaises et d'une table.
• Lucas (9/5): An unforgettable experience - The manager is really really nice, welcoming and available for his guests. He really wants to make sure that your stay remain unforgettable. Food was really good 😁 A lot of mosquitos but it make sense due to the location
• Stephen (7/5): Sipora is changing. Get there quick to avoid the inevitable changes. - Great location on the beach in a beautiful bay. The adjacent cafe and all the other cafes in the village only do very basic Indonesian meals. Don’t expect Bali style cuisine choices and if you’re happy to lose a little bit of weight, then this is the village for you. Boat travel to the waves is very expensive for a solo traveler so bring at least 3 other friends to make travel to the closest surf breaks more affordable.
• Agnieszka Zieniewicz (10/5): Hidden gem right on the beach! - Its a real hidden gem on the island! The staff is amazing, really amazing! They will help you with all ur requests and make you feel like home! We had an amazing stay there, had a trip on the islands, had a great fish party dinner and spent really really relaxing time. The location is a bit distance from the center but you can reach it on motorbike, or you can ask the manager to do some shopping on you behalf if needed. The fact that it's a bit dislocated makes it a real beauty, the beaches are clean, wide and sandy and they are basically only for you! The water is perfect for swimming and relaxing. The hats are right on the beach and they have all you need. Breakfast is nice, you can have there as well lunch or dinner since they have a small restaurant. For sure we will be more than happy to get back there! Highly recommended! Everything was perfect!

• Alex (10/5): One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at! - Located on the beach! They are so attentive and professional about everything! Always someone to help you out with anything you need! Surfing, snorkeling, dinner, scooter rental, water. Jellyfish in the water in front of the place.

• Katharina (10/5): Best stay on the island - The accommodation and the team are simply wonderful! We spent two days there (and would have loved to stay longer) and were offered the full range of warmth and helpfulness. The team was always on hand when we needed something (e.g. a second blanket just before midnight or a hotspot at any time when we needed internet - Mr. Hotspot aka Arman was always on hand) or otherwise gave us a great time (excursion on scooters with Ade and Andres across the island or a barbecue together on our last evening). The girls from the kitchen, Sara and Nur, made very tasty food and drinks and always had a smile on their faces. Ade speaks English best, we communicated with the others via translator, which worked well. As the accommodation and the enclosed beach are also frequented by locals, there is always something going on - but you can also walk along the eternally long, beautiful beach and enjoy the peace and quiet, or watch the children surfing. The room is perfectly equipped (towels, AC, tooth brush, shower gel, curtains in the room) and has decent size for two people + a nice porch with sea view. The mattress was very comfy (180x2m), so all-in-all a recommendable stay! In my opinion, there is nothing to complain about because we simply had such a good time and overlooked things that we didn't consider important, such as the fact that there is no internet (but as I said, we always got a hotspot when we needed it), or the fact that you can always hear a dog or a horn at night (the road is not very busy), which you would probably hear in any accommodation in Indonesia due to the simple construction.
• Agata (10/5): Highly recommended 💛 - We spent 5 amazing nights at Simagirau Homestay. The bungalow/rooms are located in the best place and best beach on the north island. They are just on the beach you open a door put step on the sand and feels ocean breeze. Included breakfast,friendly staff and clean bed , just nothing more needed. We are highly recommended 👌

A room right by the ocean, amazing local hospitality, and breakfast on the beach every morning. Everyone went above and beyond to make our 8-night stay unforgettable. From snorkeling activities and fish BBQs on the beach to scooter rentals, everything was perfect. We highly recommend staying at this hostel during your trip to the Mentawai Islands. • Joel (10/5): Perfect get away right on the beach with best and most friendly service as possible. Hidden gem! 💎 - This was definitely a hidden gem. The guys who run this new homestay started with a cafe/bar and recently built two simple but very comfortable cabins right on the beach with a stunning view. From the moment we arrived the service was top notch. A fresh coconut and some fruit to start with. The cabin itself: What it’s not - a five star hotel. What it is - super chill and comfortable place to stay if you like to wake up right on the beach with a little terrace and comfy chairs. - a bar/cafe on the property that serves delicious food and ice cold beers, coconuts and more. - host that is super friendly, helpful and happy to accommodate all your needs. Island hopping, motorbike rental, transport from and to the ferry. It’s all there. So if you like to live the island life, and appreciate an amazing host to help you around the island, don’t hesitate any longer and book this spot 👌 Wish we could had stayed longer
