• Irena (10/5): Wonderful stay in super central Rome - We had a wonderful stay at the Chiavari apartment. The host was amazing, available from the moment of booking until we checked out. He offered us a bottle of candy and multiple snacks, and sent us information about the best restaurants in the area. He also booked a cab for us to the airport. The apartment is lovely, located in the best area of Rome. It is quiet at night, and very comfortable. it was well appointed and everything we needed was there. We hope we can return soon! Nothing

Elle répondait rapidement à nos questions et nous a suggéré de la restauration locale pour nos repas. Elle nous a aussi offert des aliments gratuits pour notre confort à l’arrivée. L’appartement est très confortable, chaleureux et très bien situé. C’est vraiment charmant, le style, puis les matériaux de qualité utilisés dans la construction sont aussi une grande force de l’appartement. Je réserverais à nouveau cet établissement sans hésiter. À 20-30 minutes de marche du Coliseum, du Vatican. À la fois à deux pas de très bons restos, Boulangerie Roscioli, cafés, etc, mais tout-de-même tranquille! Nil

Apartment is ideal - within easy reach of all tourist locations as well as the Trastevere for evenings. We slept really well, had everything we needed and it was immaculate. Thank you for everything Martina - highly recommended!!

Set up of main tv only suitable for one bedroom, too hard to watch as a group of 4 adults. Couch was too low.

There were even some snacks waiting for us and lots of coffee so we could make coffee every morning of our stay. Later, we asked if there were more sheets to make the sofa into a bed, and he replied right away saying more sheets would be dropped off while we were out, and when we returned the sofa bed was all made up for us. Location was excellent and just steps away from a very popular takeout spot that had delicious pastries in the morning then pizza, panini, focaccia and more the rest of the day. nothing

Great to have kitchen set up. Great space for family with children or young adults. Not much prep space for kitchen. Works well if not doing elaborate cooking. Washing machine not working( but not a huge drawback). Two bathrooms which was fantastic, but one of the shower stalls was small. But again not a huge drawback.

Host was kind enough to leave us some treats in the fridge. Would have liked an improved sleeper sofa, and a sponge and dishwashing liquid for washing dishes (these were easily rectified with a trip to the store around the corner).

Beds are comfortable. Extra pillows and blankets are available. Excellent location. Martine set up the transfer from FCO and to the port. Reasonably priced transfers and better priced than others. Simone provided so many suggestions on where to eat and drink. We are planning on returning! Minor thing: Broken washing machine, although we were provided with information on the closest self-service lavenderia.
• Pradeep (10/5): Exceptional - Spacious apartment close to major tourist sites. Check-in was smooth. The host Simone was responsive and was on time as agreed to help with the keys and the check-in process. He also had good recommendations for restaurants, places to visit etc. There were also snacks, cake, vine for us to enjoy. The apartment itself was nice and clean and as advertised. We didn't have any problems during the 3 nights we stayed. Certainly recommend this apartment.
• Bernie (9/5): A wonderful memory of Rome - We initially failed to open the door, in our defence we were very tired from a very long journey. Simone came to our aid and showed us everything in the apartment. He gave us lots of recommendations for restaurants in the area and what to see around Rome. It’s in a fantastic location with easy walking to all the major attractions. The bed is very comfortable, as are the pillows. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the apartment and my only suggestion would be to have a better light at the base of the stairs as the last step is deeper than you would expect.
• Elina (9/5): Superb - Thank you to Martina and Simone for such a hospitable stay. Stayed for a total of 4D3N with 2 kids (9 and 5) and they had prepared some snacks and drinks for us. The apartment was clean and well maintained. Walking distance to most of the places of interest. They even have umbrellas we could borrow as we came when it was the rainy season. The apartment also came fully equipped with utensils and it made life easier to prepare something light for the kids to eat. Both TV had Netflix which you can log on to your own account (this helped especially when traveling with kids). We came in December with temperature of around 8c - 12c and the heaters helped wonders. The unit was on the 1st floor and although there were no lifts, it was not too difficult as it was just around 10 steps. None!

• Livia (10/5): Great unique apartment in a central, location - Great location: very central to all the attractions, shops and restaurants within minutes. Clean and updated apartment in a historic building with a good amount of living and storage space. Hosts very accommodating with check-in time, left a nice arrival surprise and local recommendations! Entry into the apartment is typical of historic buildings: with a set of about 10-15 narrow steps (no elevator) and a dirty shared entrance. May be an issue for those with heavy luggage or mobility issues. The apartment is great once inside.

Approximately, less than 30 minutes to Vatican or Colosseum. Simone was very hospitable with snacks and drinks in the refrigerator. Main bus stop (Piazza di S. Marco) 16 minutes away. Lots of restaurants and stores nearby. Quiet neighborhood. 2 bedrooms (1 private with attached bathroom), 2 bathrooms. Quaint and comfortable. It is located on the second floor. Good communication with the owner. Thank you. The next-door neighbor smokes (cigarettes & mj) a lot, and you have to pass through that order in the hallway. Showers are a bit tight but manageable.

The apartment was very nice, 2 big beds, very comfortable, 2 bathrooms, all very clean and nice. Although in the city center, we were not disturbed by noise (windows were closed). Nice welcome pack. Very noisy neighbourhood throughout the night. Cooking hob - only one small gas ring worked. No brush to sweep up. No information though a text from Simone offered help. Could do with city map. No Visitor comments book. Helps with things like where’s good to eat, times to visit attractions, hidden gems, etc. Local knowledge - buying bus tickets, place where Cesar killed by Brutus is just 5 min walk away, doctors, dentist numbers - where to get a taxi.

• Magdalena (8/5): Chiavari - the “key” to a great stay in Rome 😊 - Our host Simone was very responsive and accessible before and during our stay. He made sure we were equipped with all the information we needed and met us at the property to help us settle in. The apartment is in a great central location with plenty of small cafes, restaurants nearby as well as a bakery and supermarket. The apartment was well laid out with modern amenities. The facilities were excellent. Simone has done an amazing job of restoring a medieval dwelling into a modern apartment retaining some of the original features. Simone met us at the end of the stay and helped book a taxi on a Sunday and even taught me the secret of how to make Roman carbonara! There is nothing to not like. I would gladly stay here again.

It felt really authentic with cafes, shops and fabulous roscioli bakery in the cobblestone street below. It was walking distance to everything. The apartment itself was very comfortable, well equipped and felt spacious. Two double beds and two bathrooms plus a living space, kitchen and washing machine. The hosts were excellent with communication leading up to our stay and Simone came to meet us and provided much appreciated suggestions for restaurants and places to eat in Rome. The location was great, the accommodations were comfortable an - The location was great, the update with the division between the kitchen and sleeping area was a great surprise, everything was very clean, the snacks and drinks in the fridge were a welcome little touch. Although very small, the apartment felt quite comfortable for our family of 4 and it had everything we needed to cook our own meals. There’s nothing we didn’t like, but a few things to note: the master shower wouldn’t drain so we all had to use the other shower, and it would be a great idea to have some sort of drying rack for dishes in the kitchen as there was really no place to put them after washing.

Very clean and super comfortable. Location can’t be beat. My husband and I, and young adult daughter enjoyed our stay very much. I cant think of anything. Would suggest to future guests to bring earplugs and eye mask as you are in the heart of this wonderful city and it is a bit noisy. I slept great with both.
