- Mary (10/5): Carpenter's Cottage 10 rating gets 20! - There was no breakfast but none was needed with a fully equipped beautiful, shiny kitchen. All you needed was a trip to the close, convenient local grocery store. Available was a stove top, oven, microwave, refrigerator, dish washer, toaster, kettle and loads every utensil you could think of and more to make any meal. Surprisingly, there was not a single thing to complain about and nothing that was missing to make the stay at this home perfect. It was beautiful, spotless, with huge rooms, wonderful comfortable beds and beddings, great bathroom and hot showers, a washer and dryer, heated floors and a gorgeous enclosed, furnished patio. When we say this was a 10...double that! Our host David was the best and nicest ever! And, I might add...from Ann is wife, live fresh flowers arranged on the living room table with comfortable sofas in front of a warm, cozy fireplace with TV & WI-FI. Oh yes, this American couples 10-day stay gives our English friends' accommodations a generous rating of '20' and worth the very fair cost!
