• Nicholas (9/5): - I've stayed at Berkley Apartments a number of times in the past few months. Shah Rukh Khan is a great host, always friendly and helpful. My go to place to stay when I have to make a short work trip to London.
• Brownlow (9/5): Great location, very clean and tidy and easy to access. - Fabulous location, on the edge of the original east end which is a wonderful part of London to stay in. My apartment was a great layout and they kept very on top of keeping it clean for me. It can be noisy on a night, you are in the hub of a very social area so you do get noise on an evening. However, I worked 0400-1400 hours during my stay and I did manage to get good sleeps. Just woken occasionally.

Pretty random which room you end up in as they are all different layouts. - There's a washing machine but no washing powder. It is stupid having to go to the supermarket and buy a whole box for 1 wash. It would cost them about 30p to provide a couple of capsules for guests. - The TV didn't work. Turned on but can't connect to anything, and the saved ‘bookmarks’ were porn... The TV didn't work in another room when i stayed last time either. They need to check this. - There was (what looked like) blood stains on one of the towels - The fridge shelves were all broken (so can’t hold a carton of milk upright) - Both forks in the cutlery drawer were dirty

• Doboaca (8/5): - Very nice area, close to restaurants, pubs, and transportation. Felt quite safe even when I returned at night. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room has a washer, stove, and fridge, quite handy for longer stays.

Has good kitchen, bathroom, hair dryer, ironing board etc. Nothing for me but there is step only access so not suitable if this is an issue for you.

• Ekaterina (7/5): - firtly I liked that it`s very close to Stansted transport and there`s no need to suffer with your luggage on the tube! the room itself is very nice and suited me very well. the bed was great and cozy, radiators work fine, windows and opened enough, kitchen - everything was really good. mirror are a bit high for me haha but that`s not a big deal. the black cat in the hallway is also cute :3 she wanted to sleep with me, not sure if I was allowed to do this so asked her leave the room... what I really didn`t like is that the receptionist can take your card for a deposit and I coulnd`t see what`s going on behind the desk. no one`s allowed to give someone their bank cards. now I can`t be sure if my card data is safe so I can`t keep money on it. they returned the deposit exactly a month later but I wasn`t sure if that will happen. quite big sum

• Arjen (7/5): Goed basic verblijf op een top locatie - De locatie was perfect. Bij aankomst heel schone kamer en goede douche. Alles is aanwezig om simpel te kunnen koken. Prima bed en prima kussens. Personeel spreekt luidruchtig tot laat in de avond (storend als je de kamer naast de receptie hebt). Personeel is niet klantvriendelijk en herkent je na enkele dagen nog niet. In 9 dagen tijd slechts 2 keer schone handdoeken gekregen, dit is wel weg beperkt.

• Bosse (8/5): Passende Unterkunft für Anspruchlose Gäste - Die Lage war sehr Central und für uns Optimal. Für Familien eher ungeeignet. Die Fehlende Duschkabinentür war nicht eingeplant, genau so wie die ausgeschaltete Heizung bei Ankunft. Im Winter ist das nicht gerade komfortabel. Zusätzlich ist das Zimmer extrem Hellhörig.

• Nick.W.O (7/5): Fine, although a 3D maze to your room! - Location is great in the heart Shoreditch action, my second time staying there and no town rooms set to be the same. Black cat offers a bonus welcome. The layout of the building is a confusing warren and it would help if they provided directions to the room. My accommodation was split level at the top of the building and navigating from bed to bathroom required some gymnastics over beams and some steep steps.

• David (8/5): - I've stayed here quite a few times now and really like this place overall - usually great value for money, central shoreditch location, well-equipped and comfortable rooms. Will stay again. Its luck of the draw with this place as the rooms are all random shapes and sizes & its a bit of a maze. A lot of facilities squeezed into a tiny space (all rooms are different), sometimes in a rather DIY badly-designed way (eg coat rack in front of the TV or a sink that wont fit a plate, skirting board not attached etc). The windows (in some rooms) are large & single-glazed, and dont close properly, so it can be cold and very noisy on the street-facing rooms, meaning not a good sleep sometimes.

You're never quite sure when booking non-chain accommodation but the apartment exceeded my expectations in every way. It was immaculately clean, had everything that I needed and was great value for money. The location is perfect for exploring Shoreditch and beyond with the Old Street Tube station just a couple of minutes walk away. The area boasts loads of bars and restaurants, one of the best Kebab houses I have been to (City Best Mangal) as well as a small Sainsbury close by for necessities. The staff (and hotel cat) were friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay again. Nothing

Everything was very clean and well organized, and the location is fantastic — easy to get around the city and close to many key places. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, which made a big difference. The room was comfortable, quiet, and had everything needed for a short stay. Overall, a great experience and a hotel I would happily choose again when visiting London.

A zuhanyzóban a függöny kicsit meg volt lazulva már érkezésünkkor, illetve este van némi zaj ami kintről szűrődik be. Lehetne pár edény/tányér még a szobában

• Tracey (2/5): When you can't stay 2 nights that had been paid for - you know its bad. - The location We booked for 2 nights and only stayed one because the room was below standard. It smelled of disinfectant, there were towels under the sink to catch the dripping pipes, the floors were fake wood, which made the photos look way more exceptional than the space was. There was one inch space between the outside door and our room, no internal extra lock - felt like a bad student accommodation. The chap at the front asked for a good review on the basis that he had upgraded us to the best room - it was the room that we had booked in the first place. This sort of untruthfulness summed up the property.

Entrava freddo e rumori dall'esterno, gli infissi della finestra dovrebbero isolare di piú. La temperatura della doccia era troppo fredda o troppo calda e dovevo aspettare tanto tempo per trovare una temperatura okay.

The hotel was very clean and comfortable, with everything well maintained. The location was perfect — close to all the main attractions and very convenient for getting around.
