• CHEN-CHANG (10/5): 目前住過最棒的 - 主人很早就在屋子外頭等我們。一入門就能感受整個屋子的舒適。屋子主人很用心在佈置一個讓旅人舒適休息的空間。它是我在義大利旅遊38天最喜歡的居住處（去年我們因故取消行程，也取消了這間訂房，而這次終於順利入住了！）主人貼心準備的水果和冰箱裡的優格和點心等等，都可以看出屋主的好客和熱誠。還有兩雙實用的拖鞋，讓雙腳不至於在寒冷的四月天受凍。打開床邊窗戶，就有紅色和白色盛開的「仙客來」和「長壽花」迎接我們，房間案頭的黃色旋轉檯燈也是我喜歡的款式，明暗可以調整；吃完飯或洗完手，旁邊都有衛生紙可以擦拭（不像其他地方還要拿廁所處的衛生紙應急）。總之，在這間完美的屋子裡面，我感受到整間屋子處處都是屋主的用心，站在旅人角度來佈置整個空間，所以我告訴我老公，這間評論我來寫，這也是我這次旅行，唯一想寫的一間住宿。感謝屋主讓我和我老公，在米蘭的一天，留下最美好也最像家的住宿回憶。這間就是我未來再來米蘭的唯一選擇。 洗衣機上若能加貼英文版文字，讓看不懂義大利語的旅人也能很快使用（因為手機app翻譯不一定能正確翻譯，最主要是怕亂壓按鈕損壞了洗衣機。）
• Flavia (10/5): Great choice in Milan - Our stay was just perfect. The communication was very easy, having the answers quite fast. The apartment is very well located, one block from Milano Centrale. The bed and pillows are very comfy. The bathroom was working perfectly. The kitchen had all we needed, including coffee, fruits, cookies, cheese, yogurt, milk, bread, butter, jelly etc. In short, everything was extremely clean and handy! I do recommend this apartment in Milan 😀

• Gillian (10/5): Lots of little touches meant we felt very welcomed - This apartment was a great place to stay. We were met by a very friendly person who showed us round. The apartment is well equipped with lots of little touches that show the owners really care about making guests comfortable. Right next door to the central station and with easy access to the metro meant that we could get around really easily. The area had lots of shops and cafes, so there were lots of people around and it all felt very safe.

The flat is fully equipped with kitchen utensils and cooking ingredients, as well as the snacks, fruits and bread for breakfast. The host is kind and helpful. As the host cannot speak English, you need to communicate with him by using the mobile translation. Anyway, no problem indeed.

• Jacqueline (9/5): Excellent location, clean and charming aren’t - We loved our rustic apartment in the hustle and bustle of Milan it was a sanctuary. Especially overlooking the courtyard. We only had 2 nights and I have to say it was small but suited our needs perfectly! The staff were excellent meeting us and explaining everything.

The apartment was very clean, well supplied and very convenient to the train station. The only minor inconvenience was that the bathroom is very narrow. The bed was one of the most comfortable ones I have slept during my travels and that's saying something! I would say suits 1 person or a couple. In a complex overlooking an internal courtyard. Despite the number of apartments it was surprisingly quiet. Bathroom is narrowish but had all the amenities. Very clean apartment. Seperate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, laundry faculties. Everything in good condition. We had difficulties with some power points but enough around to utilise. • Ola (10/5): Exceptional - This apartment felt like a home away from home, from the check in with the owners friendly mum, to all of the delicious food and drinks left for us in the fridge and pantry, to the cosy furnishings in the apartment. It was perfect. The early check in after a long flight was also much appreciated. The mattress was a bit too firm for my liking, but that's just a personal preference.

• Anita (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was very close to the Milano central which also has the metro, bus and tram stops so it is very easy to explore. The apartment was equiped with everything necessary and the fridge and cupboards were stocked with food for breakfasts and snacks which was a lovely surprise. A small balconey looked over the courtyard garden. If you are a large person you might find the narrow bathroom a challenge.
• Vesna (10/5): Amazing, perfect apartment near Milano Centrale - If I could give this apartment 1000 stars rating - I would! This apartment is located 2 min from Milano Centrale (2 metro line). Apartment has everything you need, very comfortable bed, supper nice kitchen and of course like every italian house - espresso machine! Diego was amazing, super nice, ready to explain everything you would like to know. Metro maps waiting in the apartment also. He arranged fruits, some vegetables, bottle of water, milk etc! What a greeting!! You will not go wrong if you choose this place for your stay in Milano! Grazie mille per tutto Diego!! L’apartamento é perfetto e tu sei molto gentile.
• Jemma (10/5): Exceptional - This apartment is in a great location a few minutes walk to the central station with access to the sights within a ten minute metro ride. The owner left a wonderful selection of fruit, yogurt, biscuits, drinks which was an unexpected but lovely touch. Apartment was perfect for our needs, communication before and during our stay was excellent. Oh and the owners mum was so sweet. Definitely recommend this apartment for a stay in Milan.

We had a slight issue with the AC but it was solved immediately. The location was amazing since it was close to both the railway station and the metro, and it was also close to a supermarket. We only stayed for two days but wish we had stayed longer. It was clean, had much bigger space than we thought and a nice balcony with a beautiful courtyard. Highly recommend!

• Mandy (10/5): Excellent stay for comfort, location, facilities, added extras - Excellent location, a short walk to the central station, but still in a quiet neighbourhood. The apartment was clean and very comfortable, we appreciated the air-conditioning and the overhead fan as Milan was quite warm and humid during our stay. The extra touches the host thinks of are more than any place we've stayed in - the fridge and pantry were generously stocked, as was the bathroom (toothpaste, body-wash, shampoo), so many extras! This meant a lot to us as we had travelled over 40 hours in total and were exhausted. We would recommend this place highly and if we come back to Milan we would stay here again. Thank you! The bed and pillows were a bit firm for our liking, but that's personal taste, it didn't affect our positive experience.

Kitchen was well kitted out with everything required for self catering. Really appreciated the fresh fruit, snacks and fridge filled with various items that we could use for breakfast. Very friendly and helpful owner who looked after our cases after check-out as we were only leaving Milan in the afternoon. The location was very convenient as it was just a few hundred metres away from the central train station and transport hub.

• James (10/5): For any return visits to Milan I definitely want to stay at Appartamento Diego! - The location was perfect—just a few minutes walk from the central train station, which also is an access point for the great city subway system. The apartment was in immaculate condition and elegantly furnished. There is also a lovely balcony with flowers that overlooks a beautifully landscaped inner garden and courtyard. Another bonus is that it is on the first floor (second floor if you are from the United States) with a wide marble staircase, and there is also an elevator if you prefer. Diego was there to greet me in the evening even though there was a delay in my original arrival time. He also provided a very ample and large variety of breakfast foods in the refrigerator and cupboards. Since I arrived later in the evening and tired from traveling all day, I discovered a nice small restaurant just a few doors down the street that had good food and drink and a really attentive staff—and quite appropriately named “Friends.”

The windows and nice balcony open to a green inner yard. It's astonishing how peaceful it is despite being just one block away from the central railway station. The location is the most convenient especially if you are travelling by train and/or if you need to get to the airport by bus or train. The host is the most helpful and kindest host I have ever had. He found me a box for transporting my bike on the plane after I had failed to find one myself and dared to ask for his help, and he even brought it to the apartment and provided me with tape for packaging. I am forever grateful to him. He was also very easy and efficient to communicate with prior arrival and during my stay, and made me feel welcomed at check-in. Self check-out was easy. I highly recommend this place! I have absolutely nothing negative to say.
• Mark (9/5): Wonderful people, great location! - Great location close to the train station and short walks to various sites. the host and his mother were welcoming and accommodating. We loved the stocked kitchen with everything needed for breakfast lunch and dinner except certain perishables like meat and eggs which er picked up around the corner. What a thoughtful touch!
