• Nienke (10/5): Geweldig - Fantastische tijd hier gehad! De hosts waren ontzettend vriendelijk en gastvrij. De kamers waren alle 3 prachtig en brandschoon. Wij hebben heerlijk geslapen en zijn wakker geworden met een prachtig uitzicht over het landgoed. Echt een aanrader!!!

We were really made welcome on our arrival by the hosts Fons & Adrija were the best hosts in every way possible! Hospitality was expectional in every aspect of the word. We have fallen in love with Leyselebeke castle and especially the owners Fons & Adrija whoare most charming hosts you can wish for. We will definitely be staying at Leyselebeke castle, on our visits to Bruges in the future. All was 5* Leyselebeke Castle met every expectation and more!
• Alexandra (10/5): Amazing stay in a beautiful setting with wonderful owners - Beautiful setting with beautiful large rooms. We stayed one night while visiting various Christmas markets for my partners birthday and the owners couldn’t do enough for us. They left a mini bottle of Prosecco and a happy birthday message in our room, offered breakfast and coffee and when our Uber couldn’t find us offered to drop us into Bruges to make our dinner reservations. They were friendly and welcoming. The castle was peaceful and had the most comfortable bed. We are 100% planning to come back and stay again as we know it would be a lovely relaxing break in a beautiful location that is convenient for visiting Bruges centre. Wonderful place with wonderful owners. Everything was perfect
• Antony (10/5): Hidden Gem! - Could not have been made to feel more at home. We were met by the hosts on arrival, check-in was quick, and easy. We were shown around the facilities and then to a massive, clean, tidy, comfortable well funished room with lovely views over the property. Granted it was winter and everything looks abit dull, but it was easy to imagine how beautiful it is in summer. They went above and beyond and couldn't be more helpful. Will definatley be revisiting and recommending to friends. Felt the bathroom window was abit exposed, could maybe do with a net curtain or cover.

An interesting stately home with lovely reception rooms and comfortable, tastefully decorated and good sized bedrooms. Hosts were very attentive, friendly and welcoming. The location is a short car journey to Bruges and the hosts directed us to a car park that was easy to find and not expensive. Although close to main roads and easy to find, it was a peaceful stay, with the property having a lovely garden and surroundings. There was nothing we didn’t like.

Nothing was too much trouble for our host, she was friendly and welcoming and even helped us with the practical planning of our stay. The room was warm, clean and comfortable and exactly as we expected and as shown in the pictures.
• Bruno (10/5): The Castle is your (luxury) Home - Staying here is an extraordinary exeprience, even for somebody who travels a lot. Only 3 ensuite guest rooms in a castle renovated with style and repect for the character of the building. The huge garden is a good combination of a park and place for nature. Our big room was completely refurbished with no compromise to modern comfort. The electronic key card opens the gate of the park, the castle and your room. Breakfast is very good in a relaxing atmosphere. On top of that the host makes you feel very welcome. It is also special to reside in a quiet park so close to the centre of Bruges. Plenty of parking place. We will come again. We stayed only one night.

• Nathan (10/5): Tranquility of the highest order! - The whole place is just so special from the moment you drive along the driveway to the castle - the sheep, the rabbits, the chickens and the peahen just gave the beautiful grounds an extra something special!! • Marc (10/5): Wonderful surprise - The building was amazing, built in 1803, on a large parkland with pond and garden. Lovely decor, large bedroom and communal sitting room. The hosts were very welcoming, with suggestions on what to see and do in Bruges. The only thing that was a problem, was finding the entrance on the SatNav, as it is set back off the road, with a small driveway, as you cannot see the building from the road.

The breakfast was amazing and elaborate. And the facilities in the room were top notch, the beds were also super comfy. The location is a like a beautiful oasis of nature and animals in the suburbs. The castle itself is a breathtaking place to stay. Definitely a recommendation whilst staying in Bruges.

You get like your own little park with a beautiful lake. The place is quiet and relaxing. The house is amazing. I really don't have enough words in my vocabulary to describe all the beauty. Room spacious, big bed, everything clean, very clean. And if you get to stay in this Castel you have to have breakfast here, you will not regret it, this is a must. Big thank you for that. The Host is the most friendly person, very polite. It was a pleasure to meet him, and he had done more than enough to make our stay perfect. Cannot recommend enough this place. It's a solid 11/10.

Tastefully modernised but otherwise completely authentic, Leyselebeke provides the perfect location to explore medieval Bruges - which is only a short easy drive away. Fons and his wife are gracious and welcoming hosts who did everything they could to make our - too-short - stopover perfect. Nothing, really. It was a little bit hard to find initially - trust your satnav, it is where it says it is - but this makes it even more 'off the beaten track' and 'away from it all'!

• Yu (10/5): a dreaming place - One of my best experiences in Europe. The host couple are very kind，the husband drived me to find a nice restaurant. We talked till very later with a beer. What a wonderful night. The next morning is even amazing，so many animals on the grass land accompanied me with a gorgeous breakfast prepared with the wife. This is a place you must try.

• Juan (10/5): Idyllic stay in an enchanting castle near Bruges - The hosts Fons and Adrja are a lovely couple who will go the extra mile to make you feel at home. The location is fantastic, just a few miles away from the city center of enchanting Bruges. The castle, tastefully renovated and very well mantained, offers a wonderful atmosphere to spend a relaxing yet exciting stay. We enjoyed the beautiful piano (Pleyel) at the main hall, the views and the animals (especially the peacok) walking freely on the garden of the premises. In one word: exceptional!! • Kye (10/5): Absolutely outstanding - Adrija & Fons were absolutely outstanding. They were very accommodating and their hospitality was fantastic. Being in their home felt like a privilege, the. you go into the (very spacious) bedroom and it it’s jaw dropping. All in the entire property is absolutely beautiful. Nothing I did not like about their property. Only suggestion I would be is that more lighting on the driveway up to the property. But I know fons is working on this so there is nothing I didn’t like!!

• Mmijburgh (10/5): Wonderful stay in historical elegance - We had a fabulous time staying at Leyselebeke castle B&B. Fano and his wife were the perfect hosts and we felt very welcome. This really is a home away from home with warmth, comfort and restored elegance. Our room was spacious and luxurious, with a coffee machine and tea. All the rooms where guests can spend time have an old world charm, with the breakfast room the most beautiful and our favorite. The grounds around the B&B are well kept and beautiful and we saw bunnies, peacocks and a couple of ducks. In the evening we relaxed in the lounge and made use of the honesty bar. The hosts were fantastic and no effort was too much for them. Fano even went shopping for alcohol free beer when we enquired whether he had any. His wife prepared the most delicious breakfast for us where we were spoilt for choice. There was a lot of attention to detail, from fresh flowers on the breakfast table, to complimentary fruit and chodolates. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this fantastic B&B! Stay was too short
