- Nikole (10/5): A Beautiful Home from Home - This is our second time staying at Fisherman’s Cottage and we just can’t wait to stay again. Host is extremely helpful and house is outstanding. There is a secure garden at the rear for our two little dogs and plenty of fantastic places to visit nearby. You won’t be disappointed.

- Mgt. (10/5): Chilled break from Work - Beautiful scenic area, the cottage looks out onto the sea & an old harbour area very peaceful. Clean tidy quiet area very tranquil. Views of the sea the Mourne Mountains unspoilt by apartments or modern high rise buildings. I hope it stays just as it is for awhile & doesnt become over- run by commerical greed & tourism. Its lovely to stay in such a beautiful area & be respectful of local permanent residents & leave as you find.
There are historical castles & lovely easy walks close by.
Geraldine left us milk tea coffee & a lovely welcome hamper. The cottage is warm very clean with lots of hot water & a good sized bathroom & great walk in shower. N/A

- Anne Carey (10/5): Gorgeous cottage in great location - We loved this clean amd comfortable cottage from the minute we set foot in it and wished we had longer to enjoy it- only 2 nights in this trip but hopefully longer in the future. The tasty welcome pack was fantastic and a great treat after hours of driving. The house is in a very quiet area, across the road from the sea shore and in a lovely village. The landscape was beautiful and the people were welcoming. Nothing but to like. Geraldine was great and everything went so smoothly, checking in and out, heating, shower, etc.

Kids and dogs thoroughly enjoyed it, especially the sun room upstairs and the gardens. We often take cottage mini breaks, and Fishermans cottage is far our favourite. I always prepare with extras for the trips to ensure ultimate comfort. Well, it's not necessary to bring your own things to this place! Spotlessly clean house right on the seafront. The knives in the drawers cut, the pans are new, and there's kitchen essentials at hand. The host is the loveliest person with a non plus ultra vision☺️ I can't recommend it enough. It's simply wonderful🌟

- Carmel (9/5): We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the cottage in Killough. - The property has been renovated, furnished and decorated to a high standard. We encountered some very bad weather and the central heating made the cottage feel very cosy. In spite of the rear covered porch and the central heating it was difficult to dry wet clothing and footwear. The exterior wall in the front bedroom (at the base and around the window) was very damp to the touch.

- Kim&alan (10/5): Well worth the stay - You couldn't ask for a nicer host, Geraldine had a hamper full of goodies for the kids. Although we were up for a family function, Geraldine had details for all activities that were on during our stay, fantastic, views from the house were breathtaking, we have stayed in Killough over the years and the view never ceased to amaze us Could not fault anything other than we couldn't stay longer
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was perfect. Great facilities and extras, too. The host was so welcoming, and the hamper was a lovely surprise. Location was great too
- Joanne (8/5): Very good - Excellent location overlooking the Lough towards Coney Island. Short drive to many beaches and places of interest to visit.
Beautifully presented cottage with super facilities and thoughtful extras.
Lovely surprise to have a garden and patio area at the back. Only small negative was slight smell of previous dog visitors.
- Geoff (10/5): Exceptional -
- Neil (10/5): Fantastic seaview cottage - Fishermans Cottage was a fantastic place to stay for our trip to NI. A comfortable, clean and well provisioned cottage, it had everything you could possibly need (in fact, there was more than expected. We stopped before arriving for some basic essentials only to find that they had been provided). A welcome hamper was icing on the cake (and a red velvet cake which just happened to be our kids' favourite!).
I would highly recommend this property. There wasn't anything not too like.
- Grace (10/5): Exceptional - My mum, kids and I stayed for 2 nights. We couldnt fault the cottage. It was very clean and cosy . The kids loved the garden. It was very secure and safe for them to play in. We received a welcome hamper on arrival, filled with lots of goodies which was a lovely surprise. The weather wasnt on our side but the kids took fun in the board games that were in the house. There was lots of leaflets for things to go in the area. Geraldine kept in daily contact with us, letting us know of any events taking place locally during our stay, which she thought may be of interest to us. I thought it was a lovely touch as we didnt know the area well. The bed were so comfortable. The kids went straight to sleep in the cosy beds. Would definitely recommend.
