• Ross (10/5): - Lovely clean caravan, great walks along by the river. Friendly residents and holiday makers. Comfy bed. Boiler had broken down but Mike was up front and tried to relocate me. I was happy to stay and use showers on site which were excellent.

• Ann (10/5): I’m definitely coming back in the summer and next January when I break my journey to Aviemore. - It was nice and tidy. Well equipped and warm. I loved the enclosed decking outside the door and so did my dogs. They had a lovely time barking at the beautiful chickens that wander round quite freely. Very close to Hawick so I could visit my friends easily and my onward journey to Edinburgh was easy. Just turn left when leaving the caravan park and keep going. Brilliant. Nothing really.

• Lindsay William (10/5): Fantastic! - Clean pet friendly caravan, very well furnished. Comfortable beds and TV's in each room. Set in a Peacefull well looked after park setting, with nice walks virutually on your doorstep. Would highly recommend.

• Vivianne (8/5): Always great at Riverside - Comfortable and clean. Ideal base for checking out Hawick and surrounding towns. One thing , there was only one saucepan and one fry pan. But we managed.

• Laura (10/5): Spacious, Dog Friendly, Well Equipped Static - Lovely spacious van. Lots of mod cons, and loads of extras. The Welcome hamper was lovely. Also had cereals, bread, Tea, Coffee, Sugar, little jams, milk and butter, as well as toiletries in the bathroom. From my perspective, having a dog with hip dysplasia, it is really hard to find somewhere to stay, which is nearly all fully carpeted. Slippy floors are not for us! Having the gated deck area was also great because we could have the door open, and he could lay out on the deck and me not have to worry about him having to be tied to something all the time It won't stop me from returning, more of a warning if it's not for you. The main road is right behind the fence at the back of the van, so you can get a bit of traffic noise. It does quieten through the night. It is a fast road. The junction out of the site hasn't the best visibility, so you need to be committed pulling out. Could have also just done with a leaflet about the site - where things are, and local walks from it. The road opposite is a footpath and there is also one out the left hand side of the site. Didn't venture further than the van down the right side

Great welcome basket with snacks and drinks a great touch. Loved all the mod cons. Airfryer. Streaming services. Electric blinds. Just a great caravan. And daisy the dog. Loved the great walks right near by.
• Andrew (9/5): Superb - We have just returned after a relaxing few days. Lovely place to stay, a bit concerned it was pet friendly as we don't have pets and worried it would smell but far from it. Great base to explore and wish we stayed longer. We will be back! The kids loved the chickens and the treats in the Welcome basket. Some lovely touches.
