- GERD (9/5): - HOUSE was very clean and we did not anything.
Recomendable.
- Lois (10/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. - The house was in a great location. Easy drive to all the local towns and tourist spots. Nice wood and river walk near buy and a great cafe. House was very chid friendly. Garden was great for children and loads of toys within the house to keep them occupied. Highly recommend this property was a family holiday. House had everything you needed for your stay, a great home from home atmosphere. I can’t fault it. Very clean. Nothing.
- Bernadette (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and close to Aviemore and zoo. Was also child friendly
- O'rourke (10/5): Thoroughly satisfying and hungry for more of the same!! - This house felt like a home. The attention to detail is exceptional - everything we needed was available and easily accessible. Balnagowan Cottage caters for adults and children alike: in addition to the tasteful, aesthetically pleasing decor and touches within every room, the treat of the garden/playground made for a delighful, fun stay.
Like the house, the location is stunning.
Thank you Nick and Erin for a wonderful weekend. Very much looking forward to our next visit.
- Mckie (9/5): Superb - Cottage was very homely and there were lots of things for children to do. Everything was thought of. The kitchen area was a bit small for the number of guests we had (9 - 5 adults, 4 children). That would be my only slight drawback but not a big issue.
- Thea (5/5): Great for a couple with lots of kids - Outdoor playarea; well equipped kitchen; lots of toys and large living room with good sized television. Great for one couple with lots of kids. Only one double bed in room on its own, everywhere else was single beds. We are used to king sized beds as a couple. Thankfully didn't take grandparents or they would have been in single beds.
Showers were difficult to get into (one downstairs not used as wouldn't have been able to get out with doors going inwards; upstairs one, very small entrance way which squeezed through!) Didn't understand that as plenty of room for a large shower enclosure with outward opening doors.
All furniture was extremely low down on the ground. Difficult to get up out of.
- Steve (9/5): A well equipped Comfortable stay with some interesting space saving ideas - Peaceful place in beautiful part of the world. A shelf in the shower would of been useful
