- Rajendra (9/5): - Good hospitality..

- Rahul (1/5): Worst stay...no room cleaning service - I have stayed for a week and there was no cleaning service even for once during the entire week. When i questioned them about it during checkout they were saying that they clean the rooms around 2pm...who would stay in the room at 2pm???...Did we book the room to stay there for the entire day??
Inspite of the worst service they charged me extra for just extending my stay for just half day....never ever book this property and just don't fall for the cheap price..even the floor is very dirty...looks like a devil house.

From the warm and humble staff to the delicious food, everything exceeded my expectations. The hostel offers great value for money with clean, comfortable accommodations and a vibrant atmosphere.
The **open terrace** and **common areas** were perfect for socializing, making it easy to meet fellow travelers. Whether relaxing under the open sky or enjoying a fun gathering, the space added so much to the experience.
If you're looking for a **budget-friendly**, welcoming, and lively hostel in Jaipur, **Mandala Hostel** is the place to be! Highly recommended for solo travelers and groups alike. Will definitely stay here again!

- Patricia (7/5): Good - The accommodation in general is very nicely decorated! The price is good, the bed was comfortable and the room had a private bathroom. The staff was super friendly with our requests. They helped us in every way they could. Good communication beforehand The room was not 100% clean, and we had a hard time finding the hostel when we arrived. It is true that we arrived late in the morning, but there are no good signs or illuminated signs. The surroundings were not safe to walk around at night. But it is a 10 min walk from the metro station.
- Neelu (7/5): Good -
- Edalat (10/5): Exceptional - I like here so much because of his good stuff and persons who work there
I want food of them and they give me food without spicy it was very delicious
And I take that food for 2 times in one day
I suggest this place for everyone
- Deveah (10/5): Very nice property to stay - Staff & food is soo good NA
- Hemraj (10/5): Exceptional - The place was worth every penny, good vibes, clean stay, aesthetic, good people and very affordable. The people were very friendly and helpful. Really a good place to stay if you are coming with your friends and looking a for budget friendly, comfortable option.
- Shubham (10/5): Exceptional - Everything Everything is perfect
- Dung (8/5): Very budget-friendly place with decent location - Overall it is a budget-friendly place, very good value for money. I haven't seen any cheaper places during my trip to India. I stayed in a 4-bed female dorm and the price was super cheap compared to the same settings somewhere else.
Noise proof is very good compared to other hostels in India. The female bathroom is pretty clean.
The location is pretty decent, 2km to Hawal Maha and City Palace, 1.5 km to Sindhi Camp- the bus stop. If you are looking for saving money I would recommend this place.
I like the fact that they have a common place with beautiful paintings on the wall where you can hang out. They also offered free water. Bear in mind that if you travel with a suitcase you have to carry it up 2 flights of stairs since the accommodation is on the 3rd floor of a shared building. The room is very basic- it only has a bed without any closet space or shelves. The bed isn't so comfy & the fan is also a bit loud -but overall you got what you paid for.

- Muskan (10/5): Exceptional - The ambience and the staff both are great food is delicious â¨đ¤budget friendly and i miss the cat tusky â¤ď¸
- Maxime (7/5): Good - It's a very cute place, loved the paint inside and the rooftop. The room is large enough, the bed is comfy and the hot shower works great. They offer free pickup from the bus or train station which is a nice addon.
Also they have the most beautiful and cuddly cat â¤ď¸
The staff is very nice, it's a good value. The room was dark (no windows) and smelled of mold (moldy walls).
The neighbourhood is not great. The traffic is horrendous, not much food options around, hard to catch a bus from here (they don't want to stop unless you throw yourself under). Thankfully the subway station is only 10min away. If you prefer a tuktuk, then you'll be served: you can't walk 2 meters without one stopping, but they charge double to 5x the normal rate (better use Ola)
- Vikas (7/5): Good -
- Shweta (1/5): It was wastage of money and time - Staff was fine Location and facilities were not good
- Agrawal (10/5): overall it was a very new and good experience. - All the food items we took was sooo yummy & delicious, even the cook was so cooperative and provided food as per our taste & demand.
The environment was also very pleasing. Room ventilation
- Mathur (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexi (10/5): Perfect - I really appreciated the free pickup service and the fact there was a ladies only bathroom. Bathrooms were spacious and clean. Paintings were beautiful.
Lots of space to relax and rest around the hostel. Staff were really helpful and friendly.
Very affordable.

- Sebastien (10/5): Great stay in Jaipur - Nice and friendly team. Beautiful comfy room with sunny balcony. Perfect rooftop with good menu, tasty breakfast and food. Free ride from bus station to hotel. Really fair quality/price. We really had a great stay in Mandala Backpackers. Thank you guys đ

- Bhat (4/5): Okayish stay would not recommend - * The interior artwork was good and the open terrace was good.
* The washrooms were clean.
* The service and the staff were really polite and understanding. * The rooms and the bed were not up to the mark and was not maintained very well.
* The hostel is located in a very shady area so would not recommend.
* The place was not hygienic.
* The water facility was okayish the geyser was working but not good water flow was also okay.
- Keertana (9/5): Superb -
- Vipul (7/5): Good -
- Kushal (9/5): Great place, amazing host, would recommend to my folks - Great value for money. Very helpful and friendly hosts. accommodated my check-in and check-out as needed. no hassles w.r.t booking or payment (had booked online)The boys running the kitchen are very polite and sweet and makes what you ask for without any cribbing.Never felt I ate outside or had hotel food which is important during travel to stay safe. Clean room and bathroom.Location in terms of proximity to places of visit is great.Good and safe place for female travellers as well ,as I saw few of them and travelled with one :) I din't mind the small stairway.Just the entrance to the place through the shops at the ground floor was a little off beat :( with all eyes on us,making us feel conscious .Having said that, I would stay here again if I visit again.
A suggestion, install a stand or rack for hanging towels or wet clothes. You can do a permanent fixture if you feel people might steal hangers :)

- Mansi (7/5): Good -
- ×˘× ×Ş× (8/5): Very good - The staff is very welcoming and nice! And they have cute cat in their guest hous! that's raising the points of the place đť I think they charged me a little bit more than I saw in the app..
- Yadav (10/5): Exceptional -
- Garvit (7/5): Good - Value for money. Good AC. Good terrace area. The cafe area can be improved. Food place to meet like minded people. Bathrooms are not attached. Also, there is always a water supply shortage. Water was not coming in bathrooms most of the time. Less cleanliness is also there.
- Massimo (10/5): Top price - Nice staff, good location and cleaned room
- Mandeep (10/5): Backpacker hostel..with cool vibe! - In very true sense, it is a backpacker hostel. The vibe is amazing and staff is very very nice.
The property is huge with lot of sitting area.
Food is also yummy !
It's walkable from metro, bus points and in middle of city.

- Claudia (10/5): Exceptional - Staff is so kind
- Mandeep (10/5): Overall it was a good stay and the staff took care of everything - Property was very well maintained, neat , and clean. I liked everything
- Kunal (10/5): Very good services - Saff behaviour was good Nothing
- Harsh (9/5): Superb -
- Demi (3/5): Poor - One positive is one of the cheapest options around and has a rooftop terrace. However there are other hostels nearby that also have rooftop views and better cleaning standardsâso you have options. If youâre looking for an adventure that tests both your budget-travel skills and your personal endurance, look no further. My stay here was like a real-life survival gameâcomplete with mystery smells, surprise visitors, and a plot twist involving a canceled booking.
Room 1: The Cave Experience
My first night was in a double room, which was essentially a closet without a window. Ventilation was practically non-existent, and the air had the aromatic blend of something I have never smelt before, mystery... Finding empty cigarette packs under the bed was like discovering a mini archaeological site. If you like to breathe, however, this room might not be your best bet.
Room 2: The Swaying Bunk Bed
The second night was in the female-only dorm, which somehow smelled better than the first room (or maybe I was just adjusting). The bunk bed, however, was so old that I got a free workout every time the girl below me shifted in her sleep also the mattress was barely a layer. And to add a dash of surprise, male staff members entered the dorm without warning. Letâs just say that âfemale-onlyâ appears to be more of a suggestion here.
On my first night a staff member followed me all the way back to my room, repeatedly asking me what I wanted to eat or drink, even after I said I wasnât interested. I understand they have a rooftop restaurant, but here it felt less like an option and more like a mandatory meal plan. If youâre not interested, be prepared for a mini Q&A session.
In an unexpected twist, my booking was canceled in the middle of the night, despite having already paid in full. When I asked the staff, they acted confused however could not provide me an answer as to why they did this. So if youâre into midnight mysteries and unsolved puzzles, this is your place!!!
The toilets are on the roof, and letâs just say that theyâre not always... operational. The flushes had their own temperaments, leading to some unfortunate surprises floating around.
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is amazing
- Patti (8/5): Very good - Staff is the best!
- Hemraj (10/5): Exceptional - I recently stayed at Mandala Hostel Jaipur for one week and had an excellent experience. The environment is vibrant and welcoming, and the entire staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Special thanks to vicky Dusyant, the community manager, who provided outstanding support throughout my stay. The team's dedication and hospitality made my stay memorable. Highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
- Vishal (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jesuli (10/5): Exceptional - Best hostel in jaipur very nice staff and nice location free water hot shower everything you need in India you have it here
- Aritra (10/5): Exceptional -
- Piyush (8/5): Great facilities - Friendly behaviour, Good accommodation facilities, cooperative, pleasant atmosphere The location of the hotel is less visible
- Sagnik (9/5): Superb -
- Sue (10/5): Excellent - The rooms and common areas are clean and well-ventilated, there is a rooftop terrace with a stunning view of the Naharghah Fort and a kitchen that serves delicious food and drinks from 8am-11pm. The dorm was very spacious and beds were super comfortable. However, the best thing about this hostel was the people - the hospitality of Ashu, Vikash, Dushan and Arvind is just amazing. They never fail to greet you with a sincere smile and they've been helpful in every way, they truly make the stay amazing, I booked for 3 days and stayed for a week. Also, special mention to the real 'boss' of the hostel - our 3-month-old Taski, who is the subject of everyone's affections!
- Shannon (8/5): Surprisingly brilliant stay with great food - The location was quite central to everything and the private room was clean and spacious, the bathroom was fab - great shower! The food was also AMAZING, definitely recommend eating at the hostel. Should be some quiet control late at night, felt like it was quite loud at 11/12ish in the common area - didnât hugely bother us but thatâs one thing.
Would have been good to get some more detailed instructions / images of how to get to the hostel as itâs a little hidden but the locals helped.
- Rahish (10/5): Exceptional - They provide Good meal there. It was too great đŻ
- O (9/5): Superb -
- Navin (9/5): Superb - Ambience of Open sitout space and Open to sky terrace for sitting. Vry different feeling
- Bhasswati (8/5): Very good -
- Sharma (9/5): Superb -
- Massimo (10/5): Super nice - Nice place to stay
- Dheeraj (8/5): Very good - My stay here at the property was good, had an amazing experience as This was the first time I stayed in the dormitory, the host were nice and helpful, facilities are good, cleanliness of the reception hall is very good, as they ask you to keep your shoes outside,
Shoe racks are are provided
drinking water was available
My dormitory was air conditioned as well ,
The roof top area was the best place of the entire hostel,
Where you can walk , sit, and enjoy your time
Kitchen is also there
And the food that was made for me by the cooks (Arvind & Dushyant) was so tasty and delicious đ they seemed to be experienced,
The receptionist and the property host (Vicky) was very polite and welcoming,
đ¤Š
Plus
The another host was Tusky (the cat)
She was so cute, but was busy all the time sleeping
đ´
So can't say about her behavior and nature,
So if you visit this hostel do let yourself know about Tusky,
Maybe you can play with her đ The water pressure in the washrooms is very slow,
And the wash basin taps need to be repaired as the water coming from them is nearly zero( very low pressure,
Bed sheets and blankets needs to be regularly cleaned for hygienic purpose,
- BĂźsra (1/5): Peephole in shower - Rooftop
Art on walls ATTENTION! Owner cancels your reservation on booking when you mention doubt so that's how all the positive reviews come up. Check Google maps reviews - such a different rating than on booking! I stayed two nights.
Bathroom 2 has holes in the door - be careful and don't shower here!
Stair on terrace is not save and brakes everytime someone walks on it.
The original non-ac female dorm I booked was occupied by men! So I got a free upgrade to another room (ac female). However, AC there is not working. Everyday they will say it just broke today to new arrivals. So if u want an AC room, don't come here.
No soap or toilet paper available - even though it was advertised.
Everyday they will say that card payment is possible in few hours - ofc it was never available.
- Gerhard (2/5): Stay away ! - Nothing! The hostel is a disgrace. Stay away. Check-in takes what feels like an eternity and the staff invent alleged regulations that they have to take a photo of your passport with their smartphone (don't be surprised if your identity is stolen) and that the guest has to fill out the governmental C-form and make the entry in the guest book by hand. All lies. The staff simply have no idea what they are talking about and are too lazy to do their job in a customer-oriented manner. As a guest, do not allow yourself to be forced to do things that are the staff's job and think carefully about who you allow to take a photo of your passport. It's your Identity! Only the government and the police are authorized to do this. The conditions in the dormitory are also irresponsible. Everything is run down, the mattress is saggy, the blankets had no covers, nor were they washed when guests changed. The air conditioning is at 16 â° Celsius and there are two fans on the highest setting that blow cold air into your bed. Apparently the settings can't be changed. That's a lie too, of course. So don't be surprised if you soon get pneumonia. The toilets and shower on the roof of the building are only accessible via the staircase. As if that wasn't enough, the hostel canceled my booking on Booking.com after I arrived because I supposedly didn't show up. One of my worst experiences in a hostel so far.
- Massimo (10/5): Exceptional - Such a lovely place to stay! Super friendly and welcoming staff who couldnât do enough to make sure the stay was perfect.
Thank you all :-)
- Jasmine (10/5): Exceptional - So I donât know where to start but if you are visiting Jaipur you have to stay here, the hospitality is like no other and I feel like itâs an undiscovered gem which more people need to know about. The rooms were so clean and the shower is one of the best Iâve had in India so far and considering the price itâs any backpackers dream! The manager is lovely and gave me the best advice on how to avoid being ripped off and even arranged a free tuktuk from the station upon my arrival. The food is authentic, cheap and the flavour is like no other. Stairs but thatâs a personal thing and the view from the roof top makes up for it!
