Moharli gate is at walking distance. Property is definitely recommended to others. Since no lift is available, the steep stairs make it difficult for senior members.

Owned by Nayan and his lovely family, this place truly felt like a home away from home. Every member of Nayan’s family, along with their exceptional staff, were incredibly welcoming and accommodating. Their hospitality was simply outstanding. I’m sure you will have an equally wonderful experience if you choose to stay at Nayanoday HomeStay. I wanted to share some advice regarding transportation from Chandrapur station to Mohurli Gate. As you might know, taxis tend to charge a minimum of Rs. 1500 for this trip, which can be quite costly. However, outside the station, you'll find plenty of autos available. They usually ask for Rs. 800-1000, but you can negotiate with them and bring the fare down to around Rs. 600. I was fortunate enough to secure my ride for Rs. 600. On your way back, better you request Nayan and his family to book an auto for you in advance, as it can be challenging to find transportation otherwise.

• Alex (8/5): A cosy place to come back to,after long at-times-fruitless safaris - Moharli is a small village, and is among the larger of other villages around the TATR periphery. It has community wells,few private borewells,few narrow concrete/tar roads, rudimentary tea and souvenir shops. A few sell tribal Gond bamboo craft - some, exquisite delicatate and creative enough to be gifted to friends abroad. One major grocery shop run by the family owng the home stay has everything imported from the city, Chandrapur 30 KM away. Bread loaves need be ordered in advance. Most packaged edible items available in Moharli are knockoffs of original brands as in any Indian village. Our homestay was among few RCC houses in the village.We had a comfortable air conditioned room with an ensuit bath cum toilet. Towels and toiletries were provided, as also a good blanket. We dined inhouse, a la carte, with choices for meals being chapati/rice and green salad, with the ordered nonveg/veg item.Tea was available on request.The food and tea were as good as it gets leaving us craving for more.The same family has members in contractual employ with TATR, hence paid-for pickup/drop for boarding prebooked safari vehicles was a single window operation. While Moharli alone has a TATR gate located close by, all other gates are considerable distances away, if Moharli is base camp. The homestay family has already constructed additional rooms to offer stays in the village and we hope full-thali meals,water dispensers,packaged sandwiches for early morning safaris,adequate horizontal surfaces for luggage,wardrobe for clothes and in-room tea/coffee makers would be standard offer. The owners- Mr. Uday, and Pushpa - were very receptive and genuinely hospitable, never once indicating a transactional exchange, willing to go the extra mile and I wish them success with the new line of hospitality business they have got into. For the tariff charged by them, given the remote location, this was a memorable stay - and can be bettered with the suggestions... No deal breakers were visible, and in the given ecosystem, the homestay owners did their best, given that everything has costs, all items expected to be available next doors in a city are imported, and limitations are endemic. There is no garbage disposal here hence there is a need to remember to keep our footprint as small as it's practical.
