• Xavier (8/5): - Le village et la position de l’appartement. Le calme du lieu. Appartement rénové récemment, bien meublé et très bien équipé, y compris pour la cuisine. Le lit est très dur (mais c’est souvent le cas en Grèce…)

• Ψυχόπαιδα (10/5): Όνειρο 🥰 - Πανέμορφο σπίτι με όλες τις παροχές, απίστευτη θέα και διακόσμηση που σε ταξιδεύει ακόμη περισσότερο, σε ένα μαγικό χωριό κρυμμένο από τον κόσμο και μακριά από την φασαρία, υπέροχες παραλίες τριγύρω, καταπληκτικοί οικοδεσπότες με απίστευτη ευγένεια και χιούμορ που σε κάνουν να νιώσεις αμέσως οικεία. Τους λατρέψαμε! Το συνιστώ ανεπιφύλακτα. Και εννοείται θα ξανά έρθουμε για όλα τα παραπάνω 🥰
• PANAGIOTIS (10/5): - We really appreciated Christos's warmth hospitality. We also like the ethnic atmosphere of the house. The energy was calm and relaxing. 😌Everything was perfect. The house was clean located in a quiet neighbourhood with cool neighbours and lovely cats.🐱 We will totally visit the place again.

• Lee (10/5): Hidden Greek Village. - My wife and I had a fantastic 3 night stay in Velanidia If you want quiet secluded and away from the world this is it. (25 mins to nearest town) The village is super quiet there is one tiny shop and that’s all there is to it so come supplied. Two little beaches with just us two on them so peaceful. Perfect village to submerse yourself in a very real and untouched part of Greece. The house is perfect, has everything you could need, super clean, beautiful decor and the view!!! We loved it! Now when it comes to food bring your own or I will let you into a secret but don’t tell everyone. John and Kris the owners live across the village in their own house where by the way they also have a little studio rental. They offer to cook for there guests the food is fab fresh and local. They will treat like friends and love to tell you the stories of the village which was Where Kris his life started.
• Katherine (10/5): Comfortable stay in a characterful apartment in beautiful Velanidia - The characterful, refurbished apartment is well-located in the middle of Velanidia village, with a beautiful balcony and view, and full cooking facilities. John, the host, met us on arrival to show us where to park and how to access the apartment. We had a very comfortable stay. Many thanks! Nothing
• Sarah (9/5): Really fascinating and the hosts cooked for us at their home which was very special and delicious - Wonderful location and great hosts There was no where to eat as it was May Day but Chris and John invited us to their house to eat as they cater for their homestay guests if desired. I would highly recommend the food, the view and the hosts. Thanks both for top tips in where to go the next day.

• Rebekah (9/5): A brief stay to explore this area. A very quiet beautiful village. - Clean, very good facilities. Very nice patio area. Spacious bathroom. There is quite a narrow spiral staircase, but it can be avoided by an outside path to the upper level. There is no restaurant nearby, so either bring provisions (kitchen has full facilities) or drive to Neapoli -about 25 mins. There is a small mini market shop. The owner used to run the restaurant and offered a private dinner which was delicious.
• Mario (10/5): Go there and say hello to John at the bar, - very interesting Village where everybody knows everybody ! definetly worth a stay ! you just go to the Bar in the center , and the owner is there ! He runs the bar! The bar is called To Fanari ( written in greek .....) ! english spoken ! The unique village heritage . Veleniadia has a beautiful little bay with a little beach facing east.

Perched atop a mountain in a charming Greek village, the house offered breathtaking views and an authentic local experience. The home itself was cozy, clean, and thoughtfully decorated, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. But what made our stay truly special was John and Chris themselves. They went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made us feel like part of their extended family. Their warmth and hospitality were unmatched. A highlight of our trip was dining at their restaurant in the village. The food was incredible—fresh, flavorful, and full of traditional Greek flavors. Don’t leave without trying their famous carrot cake—it’s the best we’ve ever had! If you’re looking for an unforgettable experience in a picturesque Greek village, this is the place to stay🫶🏻
• Vagia (10/5): Very happy we decided to visit this very beautiful village and o stay at this lovely place. - The location and the premises and the hosts’ discretion and hospitality at the same time. Felt very welcomed and not bothered at any time. Nothing you can’t like about the location and the premises maybe the distance from Athens. Plan for more days for more enjoyment.
