Guest Reviews
- Ninette (10/5): - Fantastic central location just by the Quayside, yet incredibly quiet, backing onto trees rather than the road. Very comfortable flat, with everything we needed, and great contact from the owner.
- Mairi (8/5): - It was quite central
- Sam (9/5): - Very clean and comfortable, in a perfect place The TV kept losing signal
- Noriko (8/5): Ideal for solo and couple travellers - The room is not very new, but carefully well-maintained and clean. Close to the station, pubs and restaurants. Highly recommended for a solo or couple travellers. We’re a family with young kids and used a sofa bed. It was not broken, but worn and not comfortable.
- Andra (10/5): Great flat and host - Great location, very clean and comfortable flat, everything that I needed was provided and the host was amazing at responding to all messages! Would definitely recommend the stay and would return anytime! -

- Jemma (10/5): Clean, cute apartment - Great location, very charming apartment and good communication from the owner when we couldn't figure out the hot water We didn't realise the sofa bed was actually a sofa bed, so maybe a picture on the page would he helpful!
- Rosario (10/5): - Very clean and comfortable
- Helen (10/5): - Easy check in. Lovely and comfortable and clean. Perfect location. Had everything we needed. No tyne river view.
- Claire (8/5): - Easy location Noisy extractor fan
- Miriam (10/5): -
- Sophia (10/5): -
- Mandy (7/5): Clean & comfotable. - Good location
Clean & comfortable.
Liked the milk, tea, coffee facilities.
Bed & bedding very comfortable.
Good communication with owner. Not enough hot water to shower etc
The bottom of the bath curved & slippery.
Tv seemed to get stuck often.
Expected a waterfront view/location due to the advertising photos.
Some hooks in hallway would be good for coats, hats etc as the one bedroom only has a small wardrobe.

- Lilliandu (8/5): - It took me a lots of time to get the key, because the landlord provide the wrong number of lock box. and also we required an extra bed when booking this apartment. however, the landlord did not provide an extra and just say that there are 2 sofa in the living room. one sofa is too small and another one is almost too soft can not to sleep. - carol (7/5): Great location, if the apartment had matched the bathroom we would have definitely visited again but too many inconsiste - Location great.
Shower and bathroom great.
Plenty of tea, coffee, sugar, milk and water which was great. Beds were horrendous, non of us slept very well.
Only 3 mugs with only 2 of them matching although
plenty of tiny cups which would hold a mouthful of coffee or tea.
Only 2 glasses for 4 people.
A pair of socks (not ours) under the tv stand which couldn’t be missed.
A condom wrapper (again not ours) amongst dust on the floor next to sofa and wall and again couldn’t be missed.
- Mark (9/5): A compfrtabe stay in a well-equipped quayside apartment - Very simple, self check-in procedure. No problems at all gaining access to the builsing or the apartment itself
- Carri (8/5): -
- Tracey (10/5): Clean comfortable.would definitely stay again - The property was perfectly positioned N A
- Susan (5/5): -
- Larissa (5/5): - Localização No ventilation very small other than that super quiet
- wayne (8/5): - Very good location Quite small bed
- Grahame (7/5): Needs a good paint and some modernising, it’s a tired apartment. -
- christine (9/5): - The location was great. In the city but was very quiet at night. Very cleaning comfy Only problem was the lift wasn't working while we were there. It had broken the day before so just unlucky.

- Paul (1/5): An apartment for 4, with beds for 2! - Booked for a couple of nights around our sons visit to the RVI. Arrived late(ish) into the evening to discover that the sofa bed was in no fit state for anyone to sleep on. Not ideal for the night before an important day of testing in hospital. Admittedly and appreciated, an alternative apartment (and bed) was provided for our 1st night. It meant splitting the family up but we just needed everyone to get a good night's sleep. We were advised that the faulty bed would be fixed in time for our 2nd and last night and received a call from the owner, whilst in hospita,l to say that it had been.
After a long, long day in hospital, followed by a family meal out, we returned late to the apartment. We set to, getting the kids to bed, only to establish that it hadn't been fixed at all. We contacted the owner again, but this time were met with radio silence. 4 people in an apartment with 1 double bed for half of our stay.
Informed Booking.com that we weren't happy. They've batted it back at the property owner, advising us that they'd be in touch. They haven't been. No explanation. No apology. No support from Booking.com. Useless. Avoid.

- Megan (6/5): - It was central to everything As discussed with Ajay when we arrived the property smelt really strongly of cigarettes. We left the windows open all day and night and the smell was still very strong. We have spoke to Ajay the property owner who was really helpful and understanding and explained to us that the people who stayed before us has caused multiple damage to the apartment and were smoking in the room when told not to. Ajay has kindly offered us a 30% refund because of the smoke smell and damage to the apartment.
- David Sparks (8/5): Highly recommended for a short break - This is a really nice apartment, almost on the river and in the heart of town. To add to that it is also very quiet which is a huge bonus.
- Adam (9/5): - Excellent location and really easy to get to. For the price it was a bargain .
Easy self check in. Nothing
- Joanne (9/5): Perfect location, well equipped, comfortable apartment - Well equipped, quiet and excellent location
- Tom (7/5): Perfect for a stay in Newcastle. Great location and nicely sized apartment. - Perfect location, it was clean and tea/coffee was supplied with milk and biscuits. The bathroom was large and the shower was the best I’ve had for a ‘budget’ apartment. The sofa bed was also comfy
- Jo (10/5): Nice clean apartment, great location - Good location, Wetherspoons opposite which was a bonus. The apartment was well equipped good kitchen essentials even had kitchen roll. I’ve really can’t think of anything. It is on the fourth floor so if the lift didn’t work that could be quite harsh on the legs.
- Emily (3/5): Wouldn’t go back. - Location is great
Very clean and tidy
Plenty of amenities The bed is very small and extremely uncomfortable. It squeaked and creaked every time you move/ turn over. The curtains in the bedroom are so thin, so when the sun is rising, so are you. The curtains do nothing to blot out the street lights.
The TV does not work. The sound is intermittent at best as is the terribly patchy signal of the WiFi which means that ‘Freeview Plus’ doesn’t work. Although you can sign into Netflix, the TV sound is not good enough to watch anything. Every 5-6 seconds the volume would cut out.
- Paul (10/5): Lovely stay with everything we needed - Location excellent with plenty parking nearby. Flat was spotless with lovely little touches to make our stay very welcoming. We will book here again for our next stay. Can't recommend enough!
- Sharon (8/5): Excellent location, close to train and tourist attractions - Excellent location No compendium with instructions on how to work the washer or air conditioner.
The TV reception was at times poor.
There was mold in the tiles in the bathroom.
- Carlos (8/5): “Superb location with a well-equipped, versatile flat.” - The flat’s location is outstanding—within walking distance of all the major attractions in Newcastle. The apartment itself was spotless, comfortable, and well equipped. The real highlight of our stay, however, was the excellent communication with the property manager, Ajay. His instructions were always clear and timely, he was flexible with minor adjustments, and he remained extremely courteous throughout. We couldn’t have asked for better service. N/A
- Lisa (9/5): -
- Ana Cambeiro (10/5): -
- Amanda (10/5): - Excellent apartment and location
- Paul (7/5): It was ok - Very convenient for restaurants etc Didn’t really sleep 3 teenagers plus one adult comfortably
- robin (6/5): Did the job - Location Don’t feel clean
- Christelle (8/5): Parfait pour une halte à Newcastle - L'emplacement, la gentillesse des hôtes, et les petites attention (bouteilles d'eau, lait, café, thé...😁). Très propre et cuisine bien équipée
- Andreiko4 (9/5): -
- Angela (8/5): Very good, location was great. -
- Lai (2/5): Very poor -
- Murray (7/5): Good -
- Elizabeth (9/5): Superb -

Facilities
- Diane (8/5): Very good - Fantastic location with easy checking!
- Caroline (7/5): Great apartment just needs a few updates and little touches here and there, good value for money, great location for the - It was clean with good shower and bed nice welcome pack with fresh milk and the location to the Quayside attractions was very good TV didn’t work due to poor signal, no hand towels provided and only one bath towel per person, no coat hooks or umbrella stand large hill or steps to climb to the train station or main town Center
- Janet (9/5): Ideal for a short stay in Newcastle! - The apartment was quietly located at the back of the building. It was comfortable and warm. Ideal for our overnight in Newcastle.
We were given prompt and clear instructions for access. No complaints at all.
- Gavin (7/5): Loved the location, hated the detail. - Perfect location and well priced. It’s time the owner did a run through of the property: extractor of stove is filthy as is the inside of the sleeper couch. Lack a table - should have that instead of second couch. No dish towels in apartment and a French press would be handy. Parking on street is very limited. Shower needs a non slip mat as it’s not suitable for anyone to stand in the tub let alone elderly without a mat. One of the lights in the living room flickers despite being switched off, only by Turning down the dimmer could one minimise it. Fridge has no shelves so is functionally useless
- Jenny (8/5): Very good - Host was extremely helpful and friendly. Great location and great sized bathroom. Bed was comfortable. Sofa bed wasn't comfy at all.
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional - What a terrific little place! I was looking for something self contained for a 4 day stay and this flat really delivered. Two comfortable sofas in the living room, a well equipped kitchen, and a great bathroom. It exceeded my expectations. I would be happy to return should I need to be in Newcastle for a few days again.
- Rockett (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alison (9/5): Had a lovely weekend would stay again - Great position.
- Sammie (10/5): Great Stay - Very clean. Great location for where we needed to be. Great communication with the host.
- Colin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mandy (8/5): couples 2 night stay - Great location, very good facilities, great stock of essentials including fresh milk thank you. There was a good stock of tea bags etc, and gave the inclination to pass any of your spare stuff for the next people. Also, remember to sign out of your Netfix and not just exit. Your profile stays in situ.
Our host Ajay was very helpful with my questions, very much appreciated thanks! The sofas were not very comfy, quite old and tired. They sit quite low, so not great if you struggle with your back or knees.
The bedding, particularly the pillows, were of very poor quality, wish id took my own pillows!!. Bathroom could do with a new shower door seal, it was grubby same as the grouting but really not very important, we still had everything we needed.
- Alan (9/5): Well located, modern, clean apartment with responsive owner. - Excellent location. Clean, modern apartment.
When I had a query about access, the owner responded immediately. Television reception poor.
- Paul (8/5): Very good - Location and access very good Took a while to master the heating and tv aerial
- Anthony (10/5): Great apartment just yards from the Tyne Bridge. Great value for money. - Excellent location just yards from the Tyne Bridge. Warm clean and comfortable apartment with excellent facilities. No free parking nearby but pay to park available just across the road.
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional - Location was perfect, apartment was spotless and the owner was always just a call away and could not do enough for us with a couple of questions and was extremely accommodating.
- Lisa (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect lovely apartment with everything possible and extras
Will definitely be staying again
- Philip (8/5): Convenient place for railway station and Quayside - Location on Quayside is excellent Beds not the most comfortable
- David (8/5): Great stay location close to the river. - Clean and had tea coffee milk in the fridge. Lift was not working at the time. We reported to the owner.
- Enisa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Thiago (10/5): Perfect place - An incredible place with lots of equipment, all complete, wonderful heater and the owner is also very kind, I loved that it was easy to get in and out and I highly recommend it, it is right in the heart of the city, you can visit all the places near the most beautiful bridge in the city Zero defects
- Stevey (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic location: The apartment was cosy, very clean, and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. Complimentary bottled water and milk was given litrally has everything you'd ever need like a home from home didn't even hear any outside noise which we actually expected considering it was newyears eve big thank you to the host for allowing a later check out 10 out of 10 all around we has a lovley stay Nothing everything was perfect 👌

- Karen (8/5): Would definitely recommend - Good value , great location. Very well equipped for a short stay Lift didn’t work
- Sandra (8/5): Ok - Shower was excellent Lifts out of order quite a hike up to 4th floor.

- Katie (9/5): Superb -
- Annie (8/5): Excellent. Suited what we needed perfectly. - Efficient, straight forward. Well communicated.
Incredibly clean, uncluttered.
Bedding for the sofa bed easily
Accessible. Milk and water left for guests which was unexpected. Could have done with a couple of decent sized mugs for crockery. Just a minor thing.
And the only thing I would change would be the flower arrangement in the main room - awful 🤣
- Martyn (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nitin (10/5): Exceptional - Great host, always contactable.
Fully equipped kitchen, spare duvet, pillows, towels, soap, shampoo. Very clean place and cosy. Great location, just a 5 minute walk to the centre. I have no negatives, I would stay here again for sure
- Graham (10/5): A hidden gem. - For our purpose the location was excellent and despite the surrounding night time scene it was so quiet. We couldn't fault facilities or the help given prior to our stay Parking was a little difficult but we managed, but that's not the apartments fault. We checked in about 7pm but still got a space 200yds away.
- Cheryl (10/5): Great property in a great location - We had great communication from the host, we called AJ when we arrived in Newcastle train station and were sent the instructions to get the keys which was very easy a key box at the property. On arrival at the property the host had left us tea coffee sugar also milk and bottled water in the fridge. The location is very central approx 5 min Uber from train station 6/7 minutes to city centre . We will definitely stay here again
