Guest Reviews
- Janelle (8/5): - Beautiful location, private, quiet, hosts very responsive to questions, clean
- Leanne (7/5): -
- simone (7/5): - We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. The shower was fantastic. It was easy to find and the location was for us perfect to get to local towns. The only complaint was the mattresse, it had a big divit on one side and made a creaking noise when you rolled over.

- Andrea (10/5): Peaceful weekend away - Very quiet location so peaceful, fully fenced which was great for the dogs. Plenty of room in the cottage and kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The sliding doors were a little difficult to slide
- Lauren (10/5): Anniversary getaway - Clean, comfortable, and plenty of space for our two beagles! It was a lovely stay and we'd be happy to visit again. If you have a low car then watch out for that dip in the driveway!
- Samuel (10/5): - Clean, Wonderful area
- Josoah (10/5): -
- Sheila (7/5): Comfortable, good for an overnight. - Dog friendly, quiet, comfortable Road access. Glad we brought 4wD. Potholes would kill a normal vehicle. If coming in from Eumundi. Not the property fault.
windows and doors need some maintenance.
- Madison (9/5): - Cleanliness, great location -
- Carissa (9/5): It was lovely and relaxing, I would definitely go back and stay longer - The location was lovely and peaceful, Kookaburra Cottage was charming! I was only able to stay one night, it would be better to stay at least two nights. Some honey or sugar with the tea and coffee would be great too!
- Debbie (8/5): Quiet, isolated and peaceful surrounded by trees - Privacy the owner checked in by sending us a message and to let us know to call if we need help. All was good
- Emiliano (7/5): - Location, modern country style interior.
Bed was very comfy.
Good aircon.
Big yard and dog friendly.
Full kitchen facilities. Front door little hard to slide open and shut.
Couch is dated and cushions quite flat.
Floor could have done with a vacuum.

- TriciaVQ (9/5): - We spent a quiet New Year's here. Great place with massive space for our pup to run around. Had all the essentials needed to prepare and cook. Good location, just about 25mins to Coolum Beach. Leanna was very responsive too, they addressed some minor or concerns immediately. Minor but the cleaning of the place in between guests could be better.
- Vivian (10/5): -
- Jackie (10/5): - Perfect fully fenced yard front and back for our kick stay with our dog
- Brooke (5/5): -
- Kirsten (8/5): Quiet, convenient and overall just lovely. ☺️ - Lovely and quiet. Good amenities like coffee machine and oven, fridge and a lovely bathroom!! The bed and pillows were so hard and uncomfortable (personal preference). There was quite a lot of dog hair around
- Bennett (10/5): - Private and dog friendly. Right in amongst nature. It was great to hear all the birds and animals in the morning.
- Cameron (8/5): -
- Tanya (10/5): Secluded and relaxing spot for you and your pet - Everything! So peaceful and relaxing. Perfect for you and your pet. So clean and comfortable. Very private and in a secluded location. Honestly not much at all. If you had to be picky the tv was a little small to watch the footy but thats it.
- Natasha (8/5): -
- TINA (10/5): Very comfortable stay with dogs wish we could have stayed longer. - Great stay with our 2 dogs.
Clean well stocked cottage. Handy location between Sunshine Coast & Brisbane.
- Thanakrit(greg) (9/5): -
- Reilly (10/5): Exceptional - The location is in a quiet location surrounded by nature.
Property mangers and owners went well out of there way to help me during my stay providing me with the knowledge, help and equipment to return home after car issues.
I could not recommend this place enough if visiting Eumundi, North Arms or surrounding suburbs.
Will stay again! Beautiful Jackfruit tree 5 stars
- Nicole (9/5): Superb - The space, the option for the dogs to roam safely in the yard. Overall the property was wonderful, cottage is spacious, warm, useful utilities. We found the bed and pillows a little too firm for us. But other than that we had a lovely stay.
- Callum (10/5): Absolutely stunning! This place had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Leanna had thought of the small details. - Absolutely stunning! This place had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Leanna had thought of the small details, from the luxurious shower, to the super comforting bed, and great kitchen/chill space. We only stayed for 1 night but I wish we could have stayed for longer!
- Mark (9/5): Peaceful and private location. Comfortable cottage witheverying I needed - Peaceful location. Clean and simple. Nothing.
- Sue (4/5): Work in progress? - The bathroom Constructive words here.
Firstly, turning up in the pouring rain and no keysafe to be found.
House we eventually found to be unlocked, key inside.
Sliding doors need to be adjusted, tracks cleaned etc for easier opening/closing.
Screen and blinds need cleaning
Better quality towels.
Maybe a rug on the floor.
We found for the money paid, this was not what we expected.
More attention to detail and better communication
- Saskia (9/5): Peaceful and comfortable for both my dog and I and a great location. - Loved the quiet location, amazing fenced yard for my dog. Homely comforts like an equipped kitchen and bathroom were great. Close to brilliant dog beaches and walks. Bring mozzie repellent, just a given for the beautiful bushy area but don’t forget.
- David (8/5): Would easily recommend to friends and would consider staying again. - Very good holiday venue for the price. Bathroom and bedroom were both great. Constructive feedback:
1) Driveway is really steep. Regular sedan needs to approach on very sharp angle to avoid scraping.
2) Fridge was a bit small to accommodate for couple's opting to cook own meals for diet needs.
3) Bins were hard to access.
4) WiFi had signal strength but connection either too slow to use or would cut out if attempting to watch a program now and then.
- Jody (10/5): Amazing place, Might even stay for a holiday next time! - I loved how private and secure the place was with the fencing. Loved how it was pet friendly, made our travelling with a pet so much more easy and stress free! Such a beautiful little gem!
- Grace (9/5): Perfect little getaway - Lovely location, very private and we loved the layout! Bed was incredibly comfy and the shower was really nice. We saw some kangaroos on our drive down the lane which was really special! I’d really recommend. Only a small thing but the Internet connection was nonexistent. It struggled to load Netflix or anything on the tv. Would be great if there was a small microwave and maybe some sugar to use with the coffee machine :)
- Paula (8/5): A comfortable rural retreat - The property was spacious, clean, comfortable and perfect for travelling with dogs. The birdsong was lovely. The owners communicated well.
- Tamika (9/5): Superb - Beautiful location between Noosa and Eumundi making it a short drive to both. The home was clean and had everything we need and was so wonderful even some kangaroos visited the back yard in the morning!! Didn’t have any negative experiences for our stay
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jamie (10/5): Just what we needed - It was very peaceful and just great to get away to somewhere with so much nature Can’t say there was anything we didn’t like
- Brett (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful place, great location. Very well set up. Simple, clean, stylish finishes, beautiful bathroom, good air con, and a comfortable king size bed. Would 100% recommend and would definitely stay again. Genuinely dog friendly. 20 mins to the Beach, 10 mins to Yandina with grocery store, pub etc, 30 mins to Montville and Kondalilla Falls. Nothing.
- Carolyn (8/5): Perfect stop over on our trip with our pet - Great pet friendly property with a fenced yard for our pet to run off lead
- Tahlia (8/5): Lovely place to be cozy with your loved one - It was closed off from the owners and you get a good amount of privacy. Could kinda smell wet dog when we first got there
- Jennifer (8/5): Lovely and refreshing - Easy to find and in a lovely country setting. Had everything I needed I wouldlike some floor rugs just to make it more cosy😊and the step up into the shower was a bit high for me but I’m glad they had a grab rail installed as I have some mobility issues.
- Virginia (7/5): Good -
- Belissa (9/5): Superb - Facilities clean and practical. We were able to have our dog with us .Fully fenced yard Nothing as the description of location and facilitors was correct .
- Petra (6/5): Pleasant - Peaceful, birds, Stuffy, dusty, gritty floors, no contact with host. Just a concrete and tin shed. Smelt like dogs,
- Codi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chiaki (10/5): Exceptional - It was so a clean and very comfortable place with a beautiful backyard. Our pup loved the place too! We definitely would love to go back again ☺️🙏🏽🩷
- Josephine (9/5): Beautiful we enjoyed the peacefulness - So private relaxing and quiet lovely. Unit was sweet and comfortable. Dirt road.
- Amy (9/5): A peaceful, relaxing stay with kangaroo friends in the morning! - The privacy of the property was great. Simple kitchen facilities allowed us to make our own dinner so we didn't have to travel into town. Wifi and phone reception was a little patchy but no big deal!
- Annika (7/5): Good -
- Karen (9/5): Would recommend to anyone - Beautiful location
- Kylie (8/5): Very good - Quiet, simple, self contained stay. dog friendly. Bed wasn't for me, but all other facilities are comfortable.
- Courtney (8/5): Enjoyable - It was true to the description. Suited our needs for our stay. Only one thing. Maybe some mosquito repellent would have been handy.
- Nelly (8/5): Perfect little cottage for my husband and I and our dog to stay in. Great location. Private. - The location suited us perfectly.
- Juan (7/5): enjoyable and quiet - nice spot quiet and away from the crowds well appointed for stays with pets and lots of room inside and out very difficult to find the accommodation as there was no number on the gate and no view of it from the road as it is behind a colorbond fence
- Mark (6/5): Pleasant - When I walked In I was taken back his cold the place was. Concrete floor no rugs to soften or warm the room. It g ed lg lifeless. Some colour and artwork would have made the difference here. I’m not one to complain but a with a little more decorative approach, this place would tick boxes.
- Rule (8/5): Very good -
- Pino (9/5): Great Space and spacious for a getaway - Very Secluded and lots of Room for the Dog 🐕
- Jodie (10/5): Comfortable, cosy and lovely. - Easy access to the property on arrival, felt I had all I needed to cook a meal and stay very comfortably. The cottage is very cute and well equipped. The yard was great for my dog and it felt quite secure with ample fencing. It was close to mount ninderry - which we came to hike and found it to be a lovely stay overall, although quick. There were even some dog treats for visiting pups, which my boy enjoyed. Would definately book again for our next coast trip. Communication with the host was quick and easy through the app and clear instructions were given for our arrival. I didn’t get any phone service there but the internet wasn’t too bad, not a big deal for me personally though.
- Gidas (10/5): Exceptional - Fantastic property, beautiful location. Clean and welcoming with Pete’s a great stop on the sunny coast.
- Heinz (9/5): Superb -
- Meredith (9/5): Superb -
- Heinz (8/5): Very likely to return - For us a convenient location.
- Ella (10/5): Exceptional -
- Adam (7/5): Good -
- Trina (10/5): Exceptional -
- Debbie (10/5): Very private and peaceful setting with beautiful birds and kangaroos. Internet was good and even had Netflix. - The cottage was self contained and quite private, yet close to places of interest. Only that we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy it!
