The apartment was spacious and welcoming. Location was perfect for our needs. Only a tiny whinge (which does not detract from the overall superb rating) - tea towels could have been of better quality (i went out and purchased one). For our vintage comfort and needs, used one of the chairs from the balcony in the bathroom (as extra landing space for toiletries and clothes)

Michelle (9/5): - My husband and I are always on the lookout for places where we are left in peace and quiet, and this was our second stay, and peace and quiet is what we get. We only ever had interaction with staff when we needed it, and they are responsive to problems. We were on our bikes this trip and on the day we needed to leave, there was a terrible storm, and the owner offered for us to wait past our checkout time for our safety. The view is stunning, the chalet is clean and well appointed. The only thing I can think of, and it's only minor, is that there's nowhere to unpack your clothes into. Like I said, it's only minor and in no way takes away from the positive of staying at Elysian.

Amazing views and no.t far from town I was very disappointed to get an email today to say that we had left makeup stains on the flannels and that we were not supposed to use the second bed.
