Arunaa (1/5): Smelly and connected bathrooms, paid extra for room service(just a bedsheet change), rude host. - Nothing The bathrooms were open to one another and ours was smelling bad throughout the stay.

The room was spacious enough for two people and super clean bathroom, bedsheets, everything was spotless butttt what I loved the most was their homemade food🥹🥹🥹🥹 Not sure if they’re still doing the food menu but if they are, please order the South Indian thali. It was hands down the best thing I had in Pondyyy I was obsessed with the ‘rasam’ thingyyy literally asked for extra bowls every day. I know Pondicherry is all about its cafes but I skipped them every evening just to have this thali for dinner🥹 (Ps- i love south indian food way too much) Also the host, Harish is such a genuinely kind person He made sure the stay was comfortable and smooth we didn’t know how to ride a scooterso we basically went everywhere with Harish in his auto🛺 We chatted had fun and honestly he makes really good sandwiches haha🥰 The best part of the stay?? It was just a 1–2 minute walk from Auroville Beach🥹🥹 Okay i am done 🤣
Sam (10/5): Excellent family run guest house right by quiet beach/ healing centre - It was a truly excellent stay, the rooms are brand new, perfectly clean and comfortable. Location is great just one minute walk to quiet healing centre and two minutes to the beach. The family/ owners were so nice and kind throughout, they provide good taxi service and also have a rickshaw for rides around town/ auroville. Even better was the home cooked South Indian food, so fresh and delicious!

Hari (10/5): Great stay, exactly as described! - The rooms were exactly as described in booking.com. The host was super helpful in arranging everything necessary for a pleasant stay. The host was very respectful and available. They also arranged for a scooter rental at a good price and any other amenities that we needed. Importantly, there were no unexpected troubles with the stay or with the host, which is far too common in tourist destinations in India. The terrace was good for relaxing. The stay was next to the serenity beach and walkable from the surf spots. Overall, the stay was worth the price and would stay here when I visit again.

Anburajan (8/5): Value for money with home cooked food and door-to-door transport facility. - Home cooked Indian food is provided; which is hygienic and perfect. Beach is 3 min away. A unit of Auroville for Therapies is just 2 min away. The room is very is clean, equipped with Air-conditioning. Those who do not need air-conditioning, see breeze is available by opening the windows. From the outside the place looks modest. But the rooms are good. Western toilet with toilet paper has been provided - + point For the price, the performance is good. Property owner's family provides transport facilities to Auroville and Pondicherry. Room service is great - morning coffee and water bottles can be ordered. The family members of property owners are very polite and very customer friendly. Would have preferred that the property owner provided soap and hand towel. It is a "home-stay" so dont expect a television.
Ankita (10/5): Memorable and - Harish and his family are extremely friendly, hospitable and go out of their way to ensure the comfort of the guests. The room was very clean and homely. I also really enjoyed the delicious home cooked breakfast that was served to us every morning. Highly recommend this home stay to guests looking to spend time to pondi and auroville.
Roland (7/5): The price was to high - It was a quiet room not far from beach Since there was no board on the house, the property was difficult to find. After calling the owner he came immediately. The room was not ready at 13:00 as confirmed by owner.

Koushik (9/5): Lovely staying with a lovely family - This place has been an amazing experience for two prime reasons, first a few walks away from the Quiet Beach and the second being the hospitality. The homestay stands near the Auroville ECR region with easy access to Auroville Bus Stand. One can easily access the beach side regions along with Auroville & White Town at convenience. As for the place, Harish and his family provide a homely environment that will make you not miss your family while being away. Also, splendid homemade food is to die for. It is worth a visit if you are visiting Pondicherry and aim to stay at quite places away from White Town. No access to the roof because their is no staircase, if the staircase can be installed then it will be great just to sit at the night time quietly, and if you are a photographer then it will help you for your astrophotography endevour..
Ajil (10/5): Lovely hosts, Clean spacious rooms with complete privacy, a pretty terrace balcony - This property is hosted by a lovely wholesome family and has been my best experience staying in a private property. Clean and spacious rooms, and the location is just a few metres away by serenity beach. I was a long termer, and the hosts were very accommodating to any requests including fresh home cooked meals, a bike to rent, and any help you need with getting around pondicherry. Location is very convenient with Auroville only 2kms and pondicherry town 4kms away. Harish is a star ⭐️
