• Soud22 (9/5): Great stay - The room was small but lovely and well thought and well designed which make it comfortable to stay, clean, neat and well maintained. bed was comfortable and quite to sleep - there is also a small kitchenette counter in case we want to use some plates and bowls - The owner was very kind, helpful and easy to communicate. Location is in the old town, just 3-4 minutes walk from the Pile Gate (where the bus from the bus station stops at) and it is so easy to enjoy and explore the old town till night time. The stair to the guesthouse is a bit challenging but thank you so much for the owner who came to help and carry them up to the accommodation - thanks a million

• Shona (10/5): - Darko, let me leave my suitcase till my flight later in the day. When I arrived back to pick it up he carried it down the stairs for me. Very much appreciated. It was lovely to meet you and your Mum. Because of the area you must expect steps.
• Alexandre (8/5): RECOMENDADO - Localizado no centro histórico e fácil de chegar com as indicações. O alojamento conta com 3 quartos e fiquei no individual com banheiro dentro do quarto. Contava com ar condicionado, secador de cabelo, wifi com ótimo sinal. E do lado externo uma geladeira para dividir entre os 3 quartos, copos, xicaras e talheres também em um armário ao lado. Eu cheguei a 1h da manha e as chaves estavam dentro de uma caixa com um código que envia o proprietário 1 dia antes da chegada. Fica uns 10 min caminhando da parada do ônibus que leva e trás do aeroporto e 1 minutos da principal rua do centro histórico. O proprietário sempre respondeu rápido as duvidas quando lhe escrevi. Não é um problema do hotel mas tem que estar ciente que para chegar lá tem muitos degraus pelo caminho e pode ser incomodo para que vai com mala grande ou tem alguma dificuldade de mobilidade.

Very comfortable room with access to a shared kitchenette comprising a kettle and fridge. Access from the main street will be challenging for people’s with mobility issues or reduced lung capacity.

Arranged a self check in and everything went smoothly thanks to clear instructions. Arriving in the dark felt safe as a solo female traveler. Single room was perfect for my short stay and i appreciated having a home base in the old town. Yes there are lots of steps but that's part of the charm of the city and is great way to earn your burek! An extra bonus on sunday morning, the bells were a beautiful morning soundtrack.

A acomodação poderia ter avisado qual o melhor ponto de acesso, pois quando cheguei o motorista de táxi me levou para um acesso com muitas escadas. Depois descobri um acesso mais fácil.
• Adriana (10/5): A Charming Stay in the Heart of Dubrovnik - We stayed at Darko’s place and truly enjoyed it. Darko is a warm and attentive host, and his recommendations for local food were excellent. The location is fantastic: within two minutes you’re on the iconic marble streets of the Old Town, surrounded by history, restaurants, shops, and a supermarket just around the corner. Although it’s in the center, the accommodation is peaceful and quiet — we slept very well. The house is beautifully restored with charming historical details. Our room was spotless, with a large comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. The shared kitchenette is very neat and well organized; you can make tea or coffee, use plates, and store food in the fridge, which was perfect for our needs. Overall, we felt welcome, comfortable, and perfectly located to explore the city. We’d happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

The interior is fascinating and you can tell that the owner has been keeping the good quality and living standard in this traditional building. Service and communication were excellent, making the stay smooth and enjoyable. Though they have a quite a few steps directly from Stradun main Dubrovnik street, I found this to be part of the quaint attraction of the property. Yhteisissä tiloissa oli vedenkeitin. Pelkkä suihkuverho suihkutiloissa päästi suihkussa käydessä veden kylpyhuoneen lattialle. Oma moka sikäli, että suihku lipsahti väärään suuntaan. Kylpyhuoneessa ei ollut lastaa, jolla olisin voinut kuivata lattian helposti.

Just be aware of all the stone steps in Dubrovnik - pack light.

• Liubov (10/5): Отличное место! - Гостевой дом находится в самом центре Старого города Дубровника. Есть одно НО: к нему ведут 61 ступенька- я посчитала. Если вас это не смущает и вы хотите жить в Старом городе, то это - отличный вариант! Хозяин Дарко организовал для меня трансфер из аэропорта и сам встретил меня у ворот Пиле, помог донести чемодан. Всё мне показал, ответил на все мои вопросы. Когда я перед отъездом пришла за вещами, Дарко был в отеле и помог мне отнести чемодан вниз по лестнице. Так что я очень благодарна Дарко. Всё необходимое есть. На общей кухне есть чайник, чай, кофе, сахар, холодильник. Хороший Wi-Fi. Номер и бельё чистые.

Lovely artwork on the walls (something I always appreciate when I travel) and the softest bed with a small pillow (too many hotel pillows are bulky and uncomfortable), best sleep in months. Very quiet with the thick stone walls, shutters and secondary glazing. and cool with the a/c. Great to have kettle and refrigerator. The room gave me a feeling of peace. The host is kind and helpful. Getting there up all those steps was a bit of a challenge but they are part of the history and the character and lots of people helped this unfit old lady!
• Paola (7/5): Okay-ish - Very good position inside the old city, anything you need (shops, supermarket, restaurants) and tourist spots in Dubrovnik is at walking distance. The host is very hospitable and available for all requests. Although the position is central, it is on the hillside, so you need to walk up many stairs every time. Not advised if you have heavy luggage. Also, it gets very noisy at night due to party goers in town and people shouting down the street (not the host's fault, but it is something to consider if you want to get some sleep). My room was very small and dark, due to the window being hidden behind a corner of the room. It is known that Dubrovnik is expensive, but for the price paid I expected something more.

• Tyler (9/5): Great for solo traveller - Great location in the old town. If you don't like carrying luggage up stairs then avoid this. You'll have to walk up many stairs on the side ally with your luggage.
• Karen (9/5): Perfect location! - Great location in the heart of Old Town. Darko was wonderful in communicating. He was also helpful in getting us reasonable parking for our rental car, in advance, at a great price. It would be helpful to know about the huge amount of stairs so travelers dont carry large luggage with them. We had backpacks so we were ok but saw many people struggle.
