• Norissman Hasshekeen (9/5): Short convenient stay. - It 6mins walk from the nearest metro. The property has elevator. The owner is kind and very helpful in sharing information about other facilities. I was asking if there’s nearby local transportation company that can help me post my luggage from the apartment to my next hotel. I actually booked a different property under same management but unfortunately I booked a wrong date, owner is very kind to offer an alternative for us to take i.e this property. As a muslim traveller, the apartment also have halal restaurant nearby! Konbini also just around the corner. The property fits perfectly for 4 adults. Other facilities are well provided kitchen needs, laundry and space are acceptable for 4adults in a room. Not that we don’t like, but considering the property is kind of old, the water from the shower turns cold intermittently on cold days 🥶

• Karthik (4/5): Extremely Disappointing Stay – Worst stay Experience in Japan - Convenient location. Elevator available, helpful for luggage. Bedroom is reasonably spacious with two beds. Small balcony included. Strong, unpleasant smell at the entrance of the room. Extremely cramped toilet with no bidet, which is disappointing for a stay in Japan. Shower space is tiny — one person can barely stand comfortably. Very poor water pressure in bathroom: at times the water was only dripping. Hot water issues: long wait times, and once it comes, it lasts only about 2 minutes before turning cold again. Basic amenities missing, such as drinking glasses for water. Apart from the room size, balcony, and location, everything else was a letdown. The bathroom issues and overall discomfort made this the worst hotel stay I’ve had in Japan.

• Alice (8/5): Overall a good value stay in a great location in Shinjuku. - The location of the property is fantastic, a short walk to Shinjuku station and Golden Gai. The property was clean and communication with the host was great. It offers very basic facilities. I would recommend just 1 or 2 nights here but not an extended stay of 3 or more nights due to the lack of proper facilities.

La casa è veramente in una posizione ottima e c’è tutto il necessario al suo interno (p - La struttura ha una posizione veramente ottima per visitare la città. La camera è accogliente ed è dotata di condizionatore (cosa da non sottovalutare con il caldo che c’è in Giappone). Ci sarebbe piaciuto avere uno stendino interno per stendere i capi e qualche asciugamano in più.

• Kevin (6/5): Good for stag groups. - There was a weird sewage smell that would dissipate and come back randomly, I assume it's from the washer/dryer drain. I ran the washer empty after I checked in and the smell went away for a bit. Bathroom is a bit cramped.

• Davide (5/5): No lights, no air conditioner - Location is exceptional, well connected and walking distance from the station The apartment is clean but has only the very basics. A couple of pans/pots/dishes more would be necessary. The main problem, however, was that the host wasn't communicative at all. The same day I arrived I told him the main light was broken and the air conditioner not working and asked him if he could come or send someone to check and fix these problems. He did absolutely nothing and, eventually, I spent 3 days in the shadow and humid heat. Fortunately, I was out most of the time visiting the city. However, this behavior upset me quite a bit.

Convenience stores nearby. Restaurants nearby, including a traditional Japanese cafeteria shop 5 minutes north on the street in front of building. 5 minute Walk to Nishi Shinjuku station. 10 minute walk to Shinjuku shopping area. Maruetsu supermarket 10 minutes walk and open 24 hours. Close to Kabuchiko for nightlife but on the fringe so quiet. Some street noise but not bad. I will stay here again.

• Lili (9/5): Good value, given the convenient location. - Space was clean and comfortable, apartment was quiet despite its proximity to Kabuki-cho, there were lots of Family Marts, Lawsons, and pharmacies nearby for buying food/drinks, laundry detergent, etc. Price was reasonable, all things considered. (Space was tiny, but you have to expect that in Shinjuku.) Screen shots of location were confusing because of green tags with Chinese characters that obscured some of the street names, etc. The washing machine options did not match what was in the screen shots, so it was very confusing to figure out.
