• Harald (9/5): Sehr schöne Unterkunft in bester Lage. - Das Zimmer mit zwei kleinen Balkonen war sehr schön. Die Lage ist sehr gut.Es gibt eine tolle Dachterrasse, die aber gepflegt werden sollte und eventuell ein Sonnenschutz angebracht werden müsste. Die Inhaberin ist sehr sympathisch und zuvorkommend. Der junge Mitarbeiter ist ebenfalls sehr nett, müsste aber eventuell im Servicebereich noch etwas geschult werden. Die Klimaanlage arbeitet sehr ruhig und gut. Der Dackel von nebenan bellt ständig, wenn er ausgesperrt wird.

• Akshaye (10/5): A cosy and vibrant stay in the heart of Fort Kochi with comfort, culture and convenience all in one place. - Guestland Kochi has a vibrant charm of its own while still feeling cosy and homely. Located right in the heart of Fort Kochi, everything is easily walkable, including Jew Town and the fort area. The rooftop offers a lovely view of the town’s skyline, bustling yet calm at the same time. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the cool showers are perfect after a warm, humid day. Fresh, tasty breakfast prepared in-house adds a personal touch to the stay. It is also conveniently close to excellent Ayurvedic centers and one of the best yoga spots in the area, making it ideal for a restorative stay. Nothing significant. The central location naturally comes with a bit of town energy, but it adds to the authentic Fort Kochi experience.
• Fernanda Kojima (9/5): Amazing hostess, very nice room - Sheethal is the kindest homestay owner you will ever find in Fort Kochi. When you check-in she will give you a printed map of surroundings and highlight in it all the best recommendations for restaurants, local coffees, shops, cultural attractions and touristic spots. Will help you out with anything you need and make sure you feel at home. When I went back to the homestay by the end of the day, she received me with a piece of cake and other treats she had kept for me from her daughter's b-day party that had happened in the afternoon- so lovely! The place is a 10min walk from where everything happens. Breakfast she made was delicious. Very nice and comfortable room, with drinkable water and nice bathroom amenities (handmade facewash, bodywash and shampoo produced by locals)

• Annya (10/5): Cozy Homestay- More like a home than hotel - I really liked this Homestay. It was a nice and cozy place to stay. Like staying in a home and not a hotel. The owner is very friendly and cooks hearty Keralan breakfast food and makes a good cup of Chai. She was also very helpful with talking to taxi drivers in Malayam to arrange drop off and pick up. And will give you suggestions of places to visit as well as can sell you tickets to a Kathakali show. You are given full access to the kitchen too if you choose to make your own food. And you can do your own laundry too for a small fee which I found very helpful. My room was spacious and had very good AC. The balcony was a treat. I liked to go out and stand on it in the mornings and look at the palm trees. If I had more time in Kerala, I would have stayed longer. The owner is very kind and personable. Her daughter is very adorable and speaks perfect English to the guests. Location is perfect in Fort Kochi. In walking distance or auto rickshaw distance of most sights including Jewtown and St. Francis Church. Also near some great yoga studios. I liked most everything. I guess the only thing would be no hot water but hostess is trying to work on this. Pre Monsoon Season it is so hot that most the time hot water is not needed anyway.

• Furtertn (9/5): Homely homestay near Fort Kochi - Quiet location in a small alleyway. Small balcony with each room and terrace on the roof. Functionally furnished rooms and shared kitchen. Very pleasant owner. Not much. There is nothing that can be done at a neighbour's dog barking.

• Jonathan (9/5): Excellent Homestay - The owner is charming and efficient, the hotel well located and extremely clean indoors. The outside has now been cleared of the rubbish which had blown in, which much improves the appearance of the property. Bathroom and bedroom were modern and lovely. The owner arranged a backwaters trip for me, recommended where to go and how to get there (I rented a scooter, which opened up the area for me), and even booked a train ticket from there to Goa. Breakfasts were quite basic (one day just being offered bread and jam) but quite adequate for my needs.

The room was really super nice with great furnishings and an effective air conditioner that was completely silent. The bathroom is really good too. There’s no hot shower, but you don’t really need in the heat. Sheetal is a wonderful host and will tell you many interesting facts about Kerala. You can also use the kitchen and washing machine which is handy. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Sheethal and her assistant were warm, polite, welcoming and so very helpful with everything. They sorted out trips, bus and train tickets, made suggestions for theatre performances and where to eat. The location was really well placed to be able to walk to most places in Fort Kochi, each room had its own bathroom, Kerala breakfast was delicious and a little different each day. A delicious local breakfast was provided in the morning and just 1 minute walk from the homestay is a fantastic yoga class, which I would highly recommend. Everything is within walking distance, the homestay has an excellent location to experience Fort Kochi and is tucked away down a small walkway away from the main roads. Would happily recommend!

• Keplinger (10/5): Exceptional - Such a lovely host. So open, welcoming and friendly. Always there to help and almost like a friend :)) It is in a very central place, it's quiet and has everything you need for a short stay.
• Wienken (10/5): Exceptional - the homestay owner and her employee were really friendly and helpfull. It was nice chatting with them and the homestay feels very cozy. They booked a backwater tour for me (which I can recommend if you stay there) and they helped me buy the train ticket. the location is also very convenient for visiting the sights of fort Cochin.

• David (9/5): Superb - Very cozy place with friendly and helpful staff. Traditional breakfast every morning that was exceptional! A bit unclear when breakfast was served, however I think they had to do some emergency solution for something that came up.
