Guest Reviews
- Sharon (10/5): Lovely and clean which is a + - The property was very clean with tea/coffee facility’s a small outside area which was a plus Horst was very nice and kept in touch if any problems The only thing I would say because it has a skyline window above it needs a blind as it’s to light first thing also a later checkout As 10 is really early when you have been out you want chill for a bit so didn’t get to use any of seating to enjoy my coffee before we had to leave.

- Louise (10/5): Lovely studio with excellent kitchenette facilities. Extremely clean and comfortable. A little gem! - Smashing studio which was very clean and cosy. Very nice bedding and soft towels. Lovely shower room and excellent kitchenette facilities with plenty of crockery and cutlery. Good sized fridge and microwave. Nice fresh items left for breakfast and plenty of tea, coffee & milk. Plenty of hanging space to store clothes and good lighting throughout. Easy access on arrival. Very nice to have seating areas to front and rear of the studio should you wish to sit in comfort as well as a space saving table and chairs inside. Everything has been very well thought out and Katie's daughter, Dom did an excellent job in making sure the room was lovely and clean prior to my arrival. Many thanks for a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend, and I would love to come back!
- julie ann (10/5): - Wow Katie was amazing on arrival greeted us the room was out this world very polite room was lovely an warm would stay again

- Neil (9/5): Great location, homely feel and wonderful host. - There were numerous homely touches around the place, all the little things were already thought of and it made me feel very welcome as a guest. A breakfast, including croissant, orange juice and cereal, was supplied along with a choice of hot beverages. There was no blind or curtain on the Velux window, which meant I woke up earlier than intended in the morning with light streaming into the property. The room was also slightly chilly.

- Jane (10/5): Great - Great location, comfy everything we needed for our 3 night stay. None
- Deborah (8/5): Nice room - small, but well laid out with everything you need. - A handy place to stay whilst on a local basketry course.
Host was great and sorted out in issue with the bathroom immediately.
I imagine the garden was nice too, but I was staying in December and it was dark each day when I got back! The postcode didn't take me to the correct address using google maps - not anything to do with the hosts or information provided -definitely an issue with google maps but wasn't easy to see in the dark so just be aware if using google maps to get there.

- Helen (8/5): Qaint comfy annexed property, near alton towers. - Clean, cosy smaller place with nice showeroom.
Couple of outside areas to sit in and outside seated courtyard.
Had Internet access and TV.
Hosts were friendly.
Generally in nice area and great for alton towers, being 20 mins away. Only one radiator in the kitchen/bedroom area. Was cold through the night.
Limited kitchen utensils, no toaster or hairdryer. Needed oven to be able to cook a good meal. Only had microwave.
Quite a small double bed, was comfy but was not big enough for us.we are taller couple.
- Christopher (10/5): Very Cosy stay - It was very comfortable and warm. Nice host. Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Nothing
- Susan (10/5): - Very comfortable and well designed. It was perfect for a few days and it’s great to have parking right outside the door and to have such a good bathroom! The hosts are charming!
- Kelly-Marie (10/5): Absolutely fabulous!!! - It was our first time trying something away from the norm of a budget hotel, but WOW, it was amazing!! Highly recommend to anyone. Had everything you could think of and it certainly lived up to its name as cosy. Literally nothing, AMAZING!!!
- Emily (9/5): - Clean, comfortable, easy to access
- Gillian (10/5): Very clean and comfortable. Great property - Lovely host, lovely comfortable and clean property. Like a little home from home. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. Shops and amenities near by. Will definitely stay again. Thank you for a lovely stay. Nothing not to like.
- Benjamin (10/5): Amazing ! I slept very well :) - Very comfortable, cozy Far from the train station by foot
- Shirley (10/5): -
- Stephen (10/5): Excellent accommodation and an exceptional welcome and concern for my comfort. Just lovely. - Perfectly comfortable.
- Gayle (9/5): What a gem - What a gem of a place .
Was warm , cosy and welcoming .
Everything you need and Katie was lovely, so kind . Would definitely recommend.
Will return if we re in the area Nothing
- Thomas (10/5): Friendly and cosy place to stay - Host very kind and welcoming. The space was cosy, clean and comfortable. It was all good
- Elisha Groom (10/5): Little home. - Nice and cosy. It was like having our own little home. There would be a few things I'd suggest. A choice of food for breakfast when paying for it. There could have been a toaster. There was no choice of cereal, what if you didn't like what was already in your bowl in the cupboard? I'm also lactose intolerant and it was normal milk but I had been given no preference.
- John (10/5): Quiet, peaceful stay. - Clean, comfortable accommodation. Very quiet area. Attached to the (very friendly) host's property but with separate entrance and ample offroad parking. Excellent shower room. Simple but sufficient continental breakfast with cereals, croissants, butter, jams, orange juice, plenty of milk and both instant & ground coffee. Small kitchenette with fridge & microwave and indoor/outdoor seating areas were useful. Quite a compact property - more of a 'self contained apartment' rather than 'entire holiday home' but the 'cosy' part was spot on. Nothing negative
- Stephanie (10/5): Genuinely one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. Amazing value for money and very well looked after. Highly recommend! - Attached to a family home but very private. Family were lovely and so accommodating. Place was spotless and very modern. Bed extremely comfortable and was a cosy atmosphere. Breakfast laid out for the next day and an outdoor space to have a coffee and have fresh air. Visited Alton towers that day, it’s a quick drive from there to this accommodation and near the motorway. Plenty shops nearby and take aways. Nothing. It was honestly perfect.
- Darren Howard (9/5): - Very cosy and private, very convienient for Alton Towers(20 mins drive)
Found lovely little chinese down road 2 mins away.
Katie was also ver kind and welcoming
and every thing u could need was provided.
Amazing hospitality:)🙏
Definitly will return as park too big to complete in one day, needs 2😉😎
- colin (10/5): Peak District stay - Easy to find and they went out of their way to make stay perfect Really nothing but some people might find getting into bed by the wall difficult
- KLMurrell (10/5): Lovely little place to stay with basic amenities, your own entrance and parking. - Has everything you need for a short stay.
Easy to locate.
Separate entrance.
Free private parking.
Friendly hosts, you can contact via booking.com app for any questions etc. Quick response
Nicely decorated
- Rebecca (9/5): Amazing value: everything needed for an overnight stay - Self-contained with entrance lobby and extra undercover sitting areas both front and back. Good bathroom and excellent shower. TV, internet, fridge, microwave. Free, generous continental breakfast! Comfy bed. Useful table and chairs. Secure, off-road parking. Would have been nice to have a hob (even one would be useful) and a freezer compartment to the fridge (for cool packs). Duvet too warm for the weather. A separate top sheet would have enabled us to do without the duvet. Difficult to sit and watch TV from either the chairs or the bed, due to the location of the TV; (not sure how this can be changed, though). No labels on coffee jars, which appeared to be different.
- Hellen (10/5): Top class - Loved the self contained unit Nothing
- Sean (10/5): Exceptional - Great space, good location. Responsive & friendly host.
- Helen (9/5): A lovely cosy place with a little outdoor patio - A lovely cosy room with a great little outdoor patio Nothing we liked it all
- Gyllian (9/5): A very pleasant surprise. - We had a very warm welcome and a lovely unexpected continental breakfast. The apartment, though small, was modern, spotlessly clean, and well thought out.
We expected a cramped room and considered it as just a stopover, but it was lovely with 2 small sitting areas (front and back) as well as outdoor seating in a small but pleasant patio at the rear. 10 minutess from the racecourse. A freezer compartment in the fridge would be good.
- Sasha (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lucy (10/5): 1000% RECOMMEND THIS PLACE - This place exceeded my expectations, a crazy bargain for the price! Me and my boyfriend stayed here for Alton Towers and it was the perfect place - only 20 mins drive from the park, cosy and comfortable space, with the friendliest owner, supplying us with free breakfast every day!
The space was similar to a caravan; two small conservatories, a yard area with chairs to sit on and watch the sunset, complete privacy in entering/living in the space, bathroom with shower and toilet, bed, TV, dining table, fridge, cupboards stocked with cutlery and crockery, microwave, sink, car parking space outside... basically a mini home, much better facilities than the hotels we've stayed in previously.
The owner supplies you with shower gel, toilet paper, shampoo, towels... basically everything you'd need, but if you have to grab anything, there's a Tesco just a few mins drive away/20 min walk :) There's also a McDonald's and a bowling alley/cinema nearby, within walking distance.
Definitely, 100%, recommend!
- Panos (10/5): Perfect overnight stay for Uttoxeter, Alton Towers or a stop over if travelling between the north and south of England. - Spotlessly clean. Very fresh and modern. Bright with lots of natural light and access to a small garden. Private off road parking.
- Kevin (9/5): Excellent little flat. - Everything Not loads of space but good value for money and privacy with parking. Host left breakfast too which was a nice touch
- Richard (10/5): Loads of parking and great experience - Excellent, would recommend
- Deborah (10/5): Lovely, clean and very cosy! - Lovely, cosy and private. Loved the layout and private terrace. Secure parking space.
Great idea and use for a small space that never felt small, very cosy and had a great nights sleep. Very clean and ideal location for the Uttoxetor races.
- Michael (1/5): Bad - I spent an hour and a half looking for the property with the postcode I was given as only had a road name and no door number. This proved to be impossible to find I asked several people in the area who had never heard of the accommodation the telephonenumber provided on the email put me through to Premier Lodge who knew nothing about it? Therefore, I did not spend the night here as had to find alternative accommodation to my cost., so I request a full refund for accommodation that I could not find due to lack of information please contact me Michael French on 07970 634709
- Raymond (10/5): Cosy, clean & convenient, plus the free breakfast was super tasty!! Would happily book again. -
- Cristina (6/5): Lovely and clean property with a terrace. It is a new property, so there are improvements to make. - The property was very clean, with a lovely terrace. The neighbourhood is nice although it’s 38 min from the train station.
Check in is easy and flexible and Eva very responsive. Bed is a bit uncomfortable, shower didn’t have very hot water and heating didn’t work. The room was extremely cold and it was August!
There are some amenities to be added to the property (kitchen paper, film, toaster…).
The price of this property comes from the accessibility to Alton Towers, but there is not transportation available Sundays and Bank Holidays, so we ended up paying for a cab.
