• Laura (7/5): Kleine Unterkunft, gute Lage fern vom Trubel. Sauber Preis Leistung passt - Lage naher der Metro super, in der Nähe auch ein Waschsalon zu finden. Zimmer hat alles was man brauchst. Es hat sich sehr sicher angefühlt, durch das Zugangspasswort und Schließfächer für die Zimmerschlüssel. Nette Mitarbeiter die alles erklären. Zimmer sehr kompakt (aber wir wussten vorab wie groß es sein wird, daher waren wir nicht überrascht), der Geruch am Gang war unangenehm, sehr chemisch süßlich nach Orange, vielleicht ein Putzmittel. Wir haben immer ganz schnell die Zimmertüre zu gemacht beim rein und raus gehen, weil es so unangenehm war.

Good choice for a couple of days in Osaka City to so some sightseeing’s and some shopping. The futon can be a bit hard for western tourists. But after all the room is clean and comfortable.

• Emily (8/5): Cute Quaint Stay in Osaka - The lobby and lounge area are beautifully decorated with some traditional pieces and a cute lego matcha house. The hotel felt safe with the key coded doors, and the instructions for self-check in were easy to follow. The location is simple to find from the nearest train station. The bed is comfortable and clean, as is the bathroom. The TV even has airplay, so you can connect your devices/netflix etc. Great value for money in Osaka. I would stay again (I want to try the breakfast next time! It looks delicious). It is an old building, so I'm sure it can't always be helped, but there was a spider on the headboard of the bed when I first walked into the room. Perhaps just more bug repelling spray before guests check in is needed now that the weather is getting warmer. I was also sad not to be able to have the hotel's breakfast, so please consider making it available more days!

La camera è molto comoda e spaziosa, staff gentile e disponibile. La posizione non è ideale se si vuole visitare la città e inoltre sulla strada dell'hotel c'è poca vita.

• Ivan (7/5): Bad location - The staff is very friendly and the place seems cozy from the inside. Avoid this hotel if you have other options and it is not a last-minute booking. The rooms are very small - we couldn’t even open our 23 kg suitcase on the floor because there was no space. The walls are so thin that it feels like you’re sharing the room with your neighbours. And the worst part is the hotel’s location. It is situated in a really bad neighbourhood of the city, which we unfortunately only discovered after arriving. There are many homeless people, a lot of trash everywhere (which is very unusual for Japan), and the hotel is located inside a market. Truly awful location - I would never stay here again if there are other options available.

Something smells when we enter our room. Then we figured out it was the exhaust fan ventilation that is giving the funky smell so we just turned it off. Would have been better if it was turned off because it made the room smells. We needed to open the window to remove the smell. Also in the bathtub there were stains on it when we arrived. Just disappointed with the cleanliness of the bathroom.

The first time I stayed everything was great, this second time the bathroom curtain of my room looks really dirty. I hope the management team can consider to change it, looked really gross.

Το ξενοδοχειο ηταν κοντα σε σταση μετρο και λεωφορειου και το πρωινο ηταν εξαιρετικο οπως και η κοπελα στη reception μιλουσε πολυ ξακα αγγλικα και ηταν πολυ ευγενικη και εξυπηρετικη. Δε μου αρεσε μονο το μπανιο, το οποιο μαζευε πολλη υγρασια γιατι ο εξαερισμος δε δουλευε τοσο καλα, οποτε δε στεγνωναν οι πετσετες. Το βραδυ στο δωματιο ειχε σχετικη υγρασια και αναψαμε τον αφυγραντηρα που υπηρχε στο δωματιο ευτυχως διοτι το προηγουμενο βραδυ ειχαμε ιδρωσει.

• CHI-JEN (10/5): Clean, continent, very reasonable price - The place is not far away from multiple train stations under different systems in Osaka, so it’s very easy for you to go around in the city, or even cross nearby cities. I didn’t see any staffs because the whole check in after certain hours was automatic, which was totally fine for me, appreciate their flexibility. The room is spacious in Japan standard with a very reasonable price if we consider the convenient location, so I really recommend it. Room is clean with most basic facilities. The hotel is inside a traditional Japanese market area, so there are some interesting shops nearby, you can experience the local life by scrolling around, quite fun. Nothing! Such a lovely place. I think the only disadvantage is I’m very sensitive to sound and the air con and fridge make noticeable engine sounds, but I just turned both of them off at night and had great sleep, not a big issue if you don’t put things inside the fridge.

• Katharina (7/5): Für ein paar Tage sehr nett - Wir mochten das Frühstück sehr! Es ist zwei Häuser weiter und der Koch ist sehr nett und das Essen lecker. Das Personal ist auch sehr freundlich. Man konnte seine Koffer von dort weitersenden, was wir einen tollen Service finden. Die Lage ist sehr gut, der Airport Express 11min zu Fuß entfernt. Leider finden wir das Wort Ryokan etwas irreführend, die Zimmer hatten rein gar nichts von einem Ryokan, der Eingangsbereich ein bisschen. Es war auch ziemlich hellhörig im Haus (was wiederum zum Ryokan passt), nach draußen war es bei uns ruhig (wir haben auf eine Mauer geschaut). Das Bad war selbst für japanische Verhältnisse ziemlich klein, die Lüftung hat leider nur schlecht funktioniert.

• Katharina (9/5): - Best value for money location I have ever been to. The hotel is located in tengachaya which can be easily reached via public transport. You are also within 15-20 min to the major touristy districts (such as dotonbori). The staff was super friendly, the rooms were clean and the bed was also comfy. Check-in information is provided via booking.com - Very clear and detailed. They offer also amenities (toothbrush,.etc) in the room. Breakfast can be booked additionally (restaurant next to the hotel) - highly recommended! I'd book the accomodation again in a heartbeat if I come back to Osaka. To be noted: reception is only available until 6 pm! So be aware of that in case you need anything urgently (e.g. printed invoice etc)
• Robert (9/5): Would certainly stay again. Good value. - Very clean and comfortable. Close to the metro station. Not very busy. Easy to come and go whenever. No common space or any extra other amenities. Pretty basic however this is what I wanted and expected.

It is located so close to Yotsubashi line which is 2 stops from Namba and a short distance to Nankai line to the Kansai express. The beds are so comfortable. The room was so lovely. It had everything we needed. It was probably my favourite hotel I stayed at in Japan. The person at the front desk was super lovely and helpful. There is nothing I didn’t like about this hotel

• Claire (10/5): - Our room was so cute and cozy and has all possible amenities you need, the location was great, just a few minute walk to the train station and an awesome supermarket close by that we got snacks and quick breakfast from. I would definitely stay here again while in Osaka!

• KAZUAKI (9/5): - 外観、部屋ともきれいで清潔でした。宿の近辺に飲食店は少ないけど、徒歩すぐの場所にコンビニとスーパーがあるため部屋で食事を済ませるのにはなんら問題はありませんでした。 場所の説明で、「花園駅◯番出口から徒歩３分」と説明があればもっと分かりやすいです。

• MUHAMAD FARID (10/5): I had a great stay with friendly staff and a very convenient location in the centre of Osaka - The property is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is also a supermarket nearby, and the property is located in the centre of Osaka, making it very convenient to explore the city. Nothing. Everything was great.

• Quang Anh (9/5): Good experience - Had a wonderful experience staying at Suzuran even though it was just for one night. Helpful staff, a nice location, and plenty amenities. Very nice lobby space and decoration too! Would definitely reccomend to anyone staying in Osaka. The room may be a bit small for two travellers
