Guest Reviews
- Jane (10/5): Lovely - The setting NA
- Ann (6/5): This property has the potential to be really excellent. - The beds were extremely comfortable and made up as singles as requested with good quality bedding.
The position was lovely with the forest nearby and it was beautifully quiet. We were a little disappointed in the limited supplies provided. Also, very disappointed that there was no firewood, kindling or matches so we could have had a cosy fire as all the nights were cold. The heating otherwise was adequate.

- Sharon (10/5): We absolutely loved our stay. Everything we needed, close to town. Posting our photos of the cottage & gardens gener - This little cottage was beautiful. It has everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay. Very well styled & the gardens out the back are absolutely beautiful. Would definitely love to stay again approaching the cooler months to be able to sit outside, under the stars & around the fire pit with some wine & cheese. Heaven Nothing. It was perfect
- Caiyi (8/5): relaxed - Nice place
- Steven (9/5): - Everything.... Nothing....
- Fiatarone (7/5): - Beautiful backyard and location. Very relaxing vibe for a weekend getaway Not baby friendly. No space for a cot in bedrooms, no gate or fence for indoor wood fire, oven and microwave at low levels for child to get to. Door on one bedroom with no handle and hard to open and shut. Difficult to drive in and out of car park if other people are also staying at the house next to the cottage.
Would be good for a single couple to use as a getaway.
- W (8/5): beautiful cottage in great tucked away location with lovely quality inclusions - lovely ambience of cottage and great beds and towels. Couldnt get TV to work and kitchen appliances
- Lucy (8/5): Very good -

- Tahlia (8/5): Lovely little cottage for a nice getaway in Bowral for a couple or small family - Beautiful property with a lovely garden & nice big deck. Plenty of amenities with some nice touches of toiletries in the case you forget. The soaps/shampoo/conditioner was all nice! Great big BBQ too. The hosts were accomodating including the dog and cat on the property who were too cute. Unfortunately it was a bit small for the amount of guests it says it can host - I would suggest this stay for a small family rather than 4 adults in case of wet weather. We had great weather so could utilise the outdoor areas. It is also very close to the main house which is very open & shared if you are looking for something a bit more private. While I am a big advocate for reusable cloths & rags the ones provided in the kitchen were in dire need of replacing or boiling/washing as they were very stinky!
- Patrick (10/5): Exceptional -
- Singh (7/5): It was comfortable and we made the best of it as we were with very good and understanding friends - The location was good. Parking was right in front of the accommodation. The house was clean inside but needed a clean outside. The kitchen was very well equipped. The front door handle was practically falling off and needed repair.
There was no room in the bedrooms to even put a small bag without tripping over. There were hooks which were broken. One of the bedroom doors was off the rails and could not be opened or closed. There were no spare bin liners provided besides the ones in the bins. It was not convenient at all.
- Clifford (10/5): Perfect -
- Anna (10/5): Wonderful, relaxing escape to nature with the family. - What a wonderful cottage. We loved staying here for a couple of nights and felt like we were in the country. Wonderful location, all amenities provided. Super clean and great to deal with. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Some manuals for the stove top and aircon would be handy. I looked stuff up on Google, but my mother in law would have given up trying to figure out the stove.
- Victoria (10/5): Exceptional - The cottage was lovely and clean. Lovely beds and comfy lounge. Garden was beautiful with lovely flowers. Very nice and relaxing and quiet. Hosts were very helpful when replacing missing dishwashing tablets. Friendly cat. Saw some lyrebirds and rosellas and wrens in the trees. Whilst the garden was really lovely, the only small fault was that it could do with a touch more attention in some places. But still really beautiful.
- Tathira (7/5): Lovely stay in a great location. Sweet little cottage that was comfortable. Beautiful gardens. - Great location, sweet little cottage had what you needed for the weekend. Beautiful surrounds and gardens. Good it had two toilets. Well equipped kitchen.
Helpful hosts. An L shaped couch would have been preferable for friends to sit comfortably.
- Carol (8/5): Relaxing, fun and cosy cottage, perfect for a winters getaway with friends - Location was great, close to town yet secluded enough to relax. Nice furnishings, bathroom and extra toilet a bonus. Great cosy cottage for a couples getaway. Nice log fire for winter and a/c in bedrooms and lounge. Great refrigerator and dishwasher appliances. Coffee machine was great too, but make sure you get the right pods! Instructions on how to use both cooktop and oven would have been helpful as had to resort to calling the host for assistance. Some dry timber, and the fire stoked with wood on arrival would have been a plus.
- Maree (9/5): Superb -

- Clifford (8/5): Very good - Beautiful location AirBNB type rules, but hotel type prices.
Not what you expect through booking.com
- Fabienne (9/5): Superb -
- Allan (6/5): We were given the wrong access code to the key box & phone calls & booking . Com messages were not answered till - It was very clean and in a beautiful setting In a booking for 4 adults there was only 2 chairs & 2 wine glasses. There was no free to air TV.
- Michelle (9/5): Very cozy with amazing gardens. - The garden is beautiful and the hosts are very warm and welcoming. The bird life is amazing and the beds were a dream!
- Cosette (9/5): Superb - This cottage is a slice of peace. Amazing surroundings, everything you could need plus the location is great- tucked away but walking distance to town
