- Kakatkar (7/5): A little more effort was required to maintain, but i recommend it! - The location was good, the connectivity was excellent, staff also responsible, overall good experience, Bed quality...and mosquito issue inside the room..

- Barar (10/5): Honestly Recommended to all - The stay was so good. Cleaning was superb, management and maintenance is awesome.helpful staff, in best location, metro, local station, bus stop is near by. Recommended to all. Nothing
- Khan (1/5): Here’s your message polished into fluent English:
I’d like to book a month-long stay and am ready - Nothing Here’s your message polished into fluent English:
I’d like to book a month-long stay and am ready to pay in advance. To make sure I’m comfortable, I initially paid for two days—and I wish I hadn’t. The beds are too small. There’s no fan. The charger outlet doesn’t work. Bed sheets and pillow covers are dirty, and if you ask to change them, you’re told it’ll take a week. There are no lockers. The bathroom is so unsanitary you won’t want to go again once you do. You face disturbances day and night: people stay up late blasting music, making it impossible to rest.
Staff are wealthy and indifferent—reception is the only part that functions. If you hand over clothes for laundry today, you’ll only get them back after a week. And there’s more. I paid ₹1,000 for two days just as a trial before committing for a month—and that was a mistake.
My advice: don’t waste your money here. There are plenty of cleaner, more affordable dormitories with respectful, orderly staff. At good places, they treat customers like they matter—something this place clearly doesn’t understand.

- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - The location is very good near metro and highway. If coming by metro nearest metro is Mogra and if by train nearest is Jogeshwari Railway Station. The staff is good and overall place is value for money. It is like small train compartment all are fully air conditioned. Toilets are clean and they have geyser for heating water.
- Thakur (5/5): Passable -
- Basra (7/5): Lights out & bathroom facilities - It's a budget place and have always found the staff Helpful & Friendly.
Salman the Manager does a good job and accommodates all with their own needs as best he can. Just 2 points:
Have been staying here regularly now for years, all is fine Except the following:
1. The noise after lights out (11.00pm) is still an issue. With people playing music or having conversations loudly on their phones.
In addition some ladies come into the adjoining male dorm section after lights out and sit and talk loudly with males, this makes it difficult for guests to sleep.
Asking them to reduce noise or goto reception makes you feel as though you are the problem.
Inconsideration is not acceptable.
If people need to talk or use phones after 11pm, they should go to reception.
A tougher policy on noise by management is required.
Making a quiet policy at 'lights out' clear to guests at check-in is important.
Also, A check by management on noise levels at 11.00pm, 11.15pm and 11.45pm would address this.
2. The owners need to invest money in refurbishing the toilets/bathrooms at rear.
A modern overhaul, would mean better facilities for guests and also allow owners to charge a higher rate, this would be appreciated by all.

- Chatterjee (10/5): Exceptional - I recently had the pleasure of staying at Kohinoor dormitory and PG, and I can't say enough good things about my experience! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with warm smiles and outstanding hospitality. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.
With cozy beds and amenities made me feel right at home. All the staff are outstanding and very helpful.
The location was perfect, conveniently situated near the metro station and airport.
Overall, my stay at Kohinoor dormitory and PG was nothing short of exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable experience. I can't wait to return.

The bed by itself was clean
The accommodation was cheap There is no ventilation, after 5-6 hours your head will start hurting because of low oxygen
The bathroom was dirty and dingy
Clogged water whole doing to the bathroom
Kitchen if you see by mistake, it was like a functioning sink out in the open something

- Katkar (10/5): Exceptional -
- Philip (7/5): Good -
- Basra (7/5): Good - Friendly staff, Sultan is the New Young Manager trying to change the culture and environment at Kohinoor and he should be praised for doing this..
However certain guests still find it their right to talk as loudly on their phones after 11pm (lights out) this had a huge effect on me and others trying to sleep.
When challenged this behaviour, your made to feel, your at fault for raising.
People need to goto work in the morning,
If others wish to speak after lights out, they need to converse in reception -this needs to be enforced.
The overall hygiene of the dormitory has improved over the last year, but more is required, am sure Sultan is aware and will focus on this.
The final area of concern are the, kitchen area showers & toilets, more investment is needed from the management to make these more hygienic and user friendly.
I believe Kohinoor management can charge a higher rate, if they make the required changes and in doing so exclude 'undesirable guests' and attract desirable clientele.
- Prashanth (1/5): Not good for Business people. No continuous A/C too many beds in a single room - Location Too many beds in one room. Around 40 beds in a tiny room. Stuffed like sheeps. I didn't stay although I paid for 1 night stay. I moved out immediately after my work that day. Didn't stay there
- Bhavsar (10/5): Exceptional - Great staff and good people. They are really friendly and helpful. Loved this experience
- Omkar (8/5): Very good - The staff was really good and ethicate with work. Presence of bedbugs
- Basra (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent Hospitality by Sultan and the Team at Kohinoor Dorm, ask for anything, food, tea, train & travel advice and he will oblige with best advice...
Also their is a complimentary small Chai (tea) in the mornings from 10am. Not much really, 3 separate showers & bathrooms but it's Ok.

- Paresh (9/5): Good - Good Good

- Kamlesh (4/5): Not good - The staff is very helpful The location and dormitory behind Nala
- Ajeet (8/5): Very good -
- Megha (4/5): Disappointing - Convenient since metro connection is very close Maintenance is an issue
- Равиль (1/5): i dont understand how there are so many good reviews? this was a very bad experience. the sheets dont look clean. and my - Nothing All
- Joanne (5/5): Passable -
- Joanne (6/5): Ok if desperate - Curtains on bed for privacy Very dirty, asked to clean numerous times. Green slime on wash buckets, no hot water, construction rubble next to my bed as led to clean 5 times and 6 day finally cleaned. No ventilation in room smelt of sewerage. Like a prison cell no space in room to even put your bag locker u see bed accessible by the one next to it and no key to lock it staff didn’t seem to know what was going on when checking in and extending online tried to charge me more. Have no idea how this has such high ratings
No common room so everyone eats and shouting and on phones in room at all hours it’s disgusting and no ventilation the smell of food makes you sick when trying to sleep.lots of mosquitos in room
- Joanne (6/5): Not the best - Beds had curtains No ventilation selfish people
In room very loud all hours of night and morning
Filthy dirty room people allowed to eat in room and asked multiple times to clean room and for toilet roll as none was provided and this took 4 days
- Kulkarni (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vaibhav (7/5): Good -
- Kishan (5/5): Ok - Good = Nearby Mogra Metro Station, Value for money. Bad = The Beds have bed bugs in them,Cleaniness can be improved
- N (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kambli (1/5): Bad -
- Elisa (1/5): Bad - The place is way too small and the location is terrible.
The washroom was dirty and there was a dead mouse next to one of the beds.
- A (9/5): Superb -
- Sunil (6/5): Pleasant -
- Nadezhda (10/5): Exceptional - convenient location. metro station next to the entrance, next to two very interesting temples: Jogeshwari caves and Kali caves. It's not far from the airport, which is also convenient. The staff was very kind and allowed me to check in early and check out later without any additional fees. Only one bathroom was working when the hostel was fully occupied. The air conditioner only worked at night. The hostel allows you to bring food into the room, because of this the smell is unpleasant and the floor is dirty. around a large construction site. There are no places to eat nearby. but if you need to stay for one night you can try it. The only thing I didn’t like at all was that I had to go to the airport without taking a shower, because the only shower ran out of water. and I was unlucky with my neighbors, two harems moved in, who did not leave the room all the time and there was absolutely nothing to breathe, since ventilation was not provided for by the design of the building.
- Sumit (2/5): Very poor -

- Shivsankar (10/5): Exceptional - Good place to stay
- Tripti (10/5): Exceptional - Great stay!
- Devendra (10/5): Great place to stay - Unlike the other Dormitory around Mumbai, This place is clean, The staff here is so friendly, And it is also budget friendly, And they also make sure to clean up the toilet regularly, I would personally recommend if you are a student or traveling for business you should definitely consider this place for stay.
- Basra (1/5): Do You Really Want To Stay Here....It's Cheap For Reason - Keep the old set up. Not a professional set up...
ust asked the young manager to turn the lights off...he was laughing like a hyaena in reception. It looked like he was on drugs, the lights were on until 11.30pm. Deepak the old manager was fine but this new young regime are a complete mess. Would advise people to Stay Away unless you want sleepless nights. Did I forget
mention the rat droppings around the sleeping dorm.
- Ernest (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tanya (10/5): Superb! - Excellent Hospitality by Deepak Malla. Was made to feel safe and comfortable even though as a lady Solo traveller. Comfort was well taken care of. Excellent Job and Worth a stay.
- Josefina (7/5): Pay cheap, get cheap! - In every sense of the sentence, you get what you pay for. Rooms are cheap, then so is everything about it.
If you’re just looking for a bed to do nothing but sleep, and you want to pay as little as possible, then this is it. If you are used to a bit more mainstream hostels, this will not be it.
Personally, I was that, hoping it was a bit more mainstream and it wasn’t, so I decided to leave.
If you’re a solo female traveler who’s used to mainstream hostels, I suggest you down a bit more money! Wasn’t walkable.

- Ankit (10/5): Exceptional -
- M (7/5): Overall good. - Good care takers. 1. Beds doesn't enough have enough length for tall guys.
2. Tv sound and chit chats are disturbing.
- Olena (10/5): Perfect place. Here you will be greeted as close friends! - Great place near the metro. Although it’s right next to the road, you can’t hear the traffic. Great price, not hot in the room.
The most important thing about this hostel is the staff, everyone is very friendly and ready to help! Especially Deepak! He helped us a lot. We broke the phone and everyone helped us fix it. He also booked us a bus ticket to Goa.
- Javeed (10/5): Exceptional -
- Pratik (10/5): Best option for solo travellers for stay. - The dinner as per price was too good and homely..
- Roshan (10/5): Exceptional - Staff and services
- V (8/5): Dormitory was very congested - Dormitory was good...but there was a rat 🐀 in the Dormitory. Overall staff was very good and cooperative 👍. People were supportive. Breakfast was provided. But somewhere I feel. There was a lack of cleanliness. I didn't like one aspect of dormitory..bcoz it was very congested. It was not at all spacious. It was very congested
- Ranvijay (8/5): Well maintained and Empathetic hospitality - The hospitality of the PG is well appreciated. They take care of guest and provide all facilities such as laundry, fooding and cleaning.
They are empathetic and makes us feel comfortable like home. You will find all culture of people staying there in harmony.
Special thanks to Deepak for ever ready for guest service. There could have one more bathroom for gents.
- Neela (6/5): You get what you pay for - The beds were sturdy, had curtains. Staff would supply meals for lunch and dinner. Soso clean, no other place to eat but the beds so mice were living in the dorm. Videokamera in womens dorm; men/male staff would walk in for various reasons.
Bathrooms were not really clean, bed smelled weird.
- Ashley (2/5): Try to avoid - The staff was friendly They first gave me a dirty bed, after that a cleaner one, still full of hair. There are some residing Indian women in the dorm that were obnoxiously loud until 1am (listening to music, multiple people talking on the phone, talking to each other, phone ringing). I had to ask for help from the staff twice until they were a little bit more quiet; still very much noticeable with earplugs. There was a mouse on my bed and the bed was way to short for me being 177cm. Had to lay in feral position.
I booked for 3 nights, only stayed one night. They offered me to sleep in the male dorm with only Indian men present in the whole hostel. Which made me feel unsafe in the first place. Was reimbursed 500 rupees.
