• Jay Ann (8/5): Perfect budget friendly for couple of nights to stay as a solo traveler you have your own room already. - It’s an old building with old facilities so don’t expect much. So far facilities like fan or air condition was old but functioning. Easy access to everything specially food restaurants and walking distance only to old market which is good. Blanket was like a same as texture of a big towel only. 😳 As per the owner it’s a traditional cambodian blanket.

The staff is extremely friendly and go out of their way to make their guests comfortable. The guesthouse is very quiet and offers good value for the low amount they charge.

La proximité de l'établissement du secteur le plus intéressant de la ville. L'offre de transport, sur place, vers les lieux de visite. Nul besoin de prendre les services extérieurs moins avantageux. N'hésitez pas à y recourir.

Really good breakfast cafe called street three eatery close by which I deffo recommend! had our laundry done here which was done in 24 hours. wasn’t the most powerful aircon was quite hot through the night but everything else was great

The place is charming, a quiet little hostel in a side alley, walking distance from everything we needed in Siem Reap. The staff was extremely friendly, very attentive and helpful. The place is spotless clean, they help with information, and generally everything you might need. Can't recommend enough on this place. We'll definitely come back to Central Backpacker when we're in Siem Reap again. For the price we paid, the great location, for how nice and hospitable the staff were - we got nothing to complain. Everything was perfect.

The bathroom was really dark with dark walls, really gloomy and depressing and i could barely see myself in the mirror in a way that i tried to avoid using the bathroom!the sink and shower's drain was clogged and hard to use, the lobby had a very gloomy light and almost dark at night n was a bit depressing as an enterance, there was no kettle in the room and no boiled water especially very early in the morning at 5.00 am when we wanted to go to Ankrowat before sunrise so we could not even have a glass of coffee before. However Later when i told them ,they gave me a kettle for my room

• Russell (10/5): I WILL stay here again if I'm in Seim Reap. - It is in a quiet street very close to town center. I arrived home very very late one night and owner was there to open front gate for me. I had gastro illness for 4-5 days and owner and staff knocked on my door every day to make sure I was OK, and they went to pharmacy to buy treatment for me... above and beyond helpful. Bed was hard mattress, but I'm old and getting soft I guess. I DID extend my stay anyways.

Sparkly clean , the bed is comfortable, the room is quiet , and the location is great ! Very good quality price with a coffee shop next to it who offers tasty breakfast and any food .! Muay Thai and the gym are very closed ! You can also hire a bicycle! A gem . Everything was perfect

The rest of the staff were amazing too, he has got a great group of people there and they made the stay extra special. This was my first time in Cambodia and this place made me feel comfortable right away! They also have a restaurant on the same road which is amazing, my favourite food in Cambodia so far. The restaurant is called Nombanhchouk Wat Damnak. I recommend the Amok curry☺️ Nothing!

Had a fridge in the room, but it went off (with the power) when the room was left. Would have been nice to be able to keep the power on for that,

He helped us book onward travel & also a tuktuk driver for the Angkor watt trip (highly recommend him, our driver was lovely & very good English)

Here’s why (sorry for the essay 🤣): Family-run: The hosts are so kind, hardworking, and welcoming, making our stay feel personal and comfortable. Value for money: It’s hard to find accommodation at this price that offers so much in Siem Reap. Perfect location: Close to everything but tucked away enough to be quiet and peaceful. Spacious, clean rooms: Our double room had exceptional air conditioning, a separate fan, a fridge, a large comfortable bed with a cosy duvet, and a large, clean bathroom with reliable hot water. Amazing restaurant: Just two doors down, the family also runs a traditional Khmer (Cambodian) restaurant with incredible food at affordable prices. Every dish we tried was fantastic (they also serve breakfast). We’d encourage future guests to support this wonderful family business. And before anyone writes their review, if you ever need anything during your stay, just speak to the hosts – they’re approachable and eager to help. You won’t find better value in this location, and we can’t wait to return for longer next time! Loved everything ❤️

If you drive own car is not convenience as there no parking space.
