• RICHARD (10/5): El mejor sitio para alojarse en Ushuaia. - Andrés, el dueño de los apartamentos es estupendo, siempre dispuesto a ayudarte, a explicarte todo para que tengas una experiencia inolvidable en Ushuaia, muy generoso con su tiempo, te presta sus cosas de ser necesario, te recomienda sitios par visitar según tus gustos, te recomienda restaurantes, comidas, etc... El apartamento es muy cálido, tiene calefacción en la sala y habitaciones, la ubicación es muy central.

• Dr. Luisa (10/5): Excellent host, good value and good location - Andre was so nice. He welcomed us on arrival and gave us lots of information and tips. All we needed was cost effective accommodation close to all the locations in downtown Ushaia. We ate out all the time so did not need to use the kitchen facilities. The bed was very comfortable. We would recommend this apartment for the excellent hospitality from the host (Andre) and its location.

Su baño: pérdida de agua del desagote del vanitory, desde que entre hasta que me fui, atento al llenado de un recipiente y posterior mojado del piso. Canillas con pérdida, desagote de la ducha malo.

Localização excelente!! Gostaria de agradecer ao Andres, nos ajudou muuuito! Chegamos e ele já contou a história da cidade, fez diversas recomendações de passeios e restaurantes. Emprestou os bastões para fazermos a Laguna Esmeralda, disponibilizou roupas de neve caso precisássemos também, sem palavras! Todas as vezes que precisamos, ele nos respondia super rápido e com dicas essenciais! Recomendo demais. Gracias Hermano, um dia voltaremos! Gostamos de tudo na acomodação.

• Roberto (5/5): Passable - Good location. The owner picked me up from the bus terminal and drove me to the apartment NON existent soundproofing between the apartments. The walls are so thin that you can even hear coughing, chatting, and everything else. They pretend to be apartments, but they are actually rooms (all with bathroom, bedroom and indipendent entrances) separated one from each other by plasterboard walls. It was particularly annoying to pay what was agreed (USD dollars by cash) without receiving any payment receipt, and bye bye. The taps in the bathroom are so poorly made that it is very difficult to open or close them when your hands are wet (and usually your hands are wet, when you need the sink or the shower). Having hot water for the shower is a Herculean task (even if the owner sends you the message explaining that you have to open the taps smoothly and so on). A bit of maintenance would be necessary.
• Ilaria (10/5): Exceptional - Andres is very nice and he gives us a lot of suggestions to enjoy the place . Everything clean, warm and perfect. The bed is very comfortable and the view on the glacier is amazing.
• João (7/5): Good - Good communication with the staff who dealt with check in, providing tips and recommendations and help resolve an issue with the cooker very promptly. Good size and enough for a short stay in Ushuaia, and close to the city center. Kitchen well equipped. Heating working very well. Some kitchen utensils needed to be replaced (the frying pan was in its very last days and unusable). The hot water in the shower is difficult to control. Bedding not great - the material it is made of makes everything slide off the bed every time you move. Cleanliness can be improved - especially with sofa and bed covers, which were dusty and triggered us allergies.

• James (9/5): An excellent, quiet and comfortable place to stay - Andres could not have been more helpful and it was a delight to meet him and stay at one of his apartments. He has three or four tucked away behind his house on a quiet street about a 7-10 minute walk from the main street. The one we stayed in had two bedrooms, with a large kitchen/dining area. The bedrooms are upstairs, the loo and shower downstairs. The kitchen had everything necessary for preparing food, and included a microwave, sandwich maker, four ring gas hob and oven. Complementary tea was provided. It was clean, beds were comfortable and the shower fine once we worked out how to balance the hot water which Andes explained. Hearing is great and adjustable in each room. Andres provided lots of really helpful information about where to go and where to eat and was on hand for any enquiries. There is a great bakery at the end of the block, a small grocery store the next block up, and he suggested a place to rent a car about five minutes walk away (Austral Rental - worth thinking about if you are planning to visit quite a few places as it is cheap to do so and gives added flexibility). We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended. As mentioned the shower was a little tricky but fine once we adjusted it correctly. There are one or two items showing signs of wear.
• Peter (10/5): Exceptional - The accommodation is great. You have everything you need. Great location, only a few minutes walk to the main road and very quiet. Andres the host is incredibly helpful, has great tips and makes the stay not a vacation but a home away from home.

The best host I had so far The location is amazing; only blocks from city center, same block there’s a bakery and a supermarket The apartment is very new, cozy, clean and extremely spacious and there’s a separate heater in each room + living room that you can regulate . The room that I’ve stayed had balcony with an amazing view from the mountains and it was very quiet and peaceful Kitchen had lots of utensils as well such as boiler, toaster, coffee machine, big fridge, oven etc . It was the perfect place to stay in Ushuaia :) I totally recommend .
• Joerg (10/5): The place to live when in Ushuaia - The apartment is beautiful. It has big windows. The heating warms up the room immediately. It’s located quite centrally in town. A very good bakery is just one block up. A good dinner place just a block to the right. The apartment is very clean. Andres is a very good host that makes you feel like at home and gives you all insights about Ushuaia you don’t find in a guide or on YouTube. So before booking something rather ask him first. Nada

He let us use his washing machine and there was free use of his bikes. He picked us up from the bus station.It was a couple blocks up from the main street and close to the waterfront Bathroom was a little pokey.

• Maria (10/5): Nice central apartment in Ushuaia - The staff is very nice and helpful, in the apartment you will find everything you need for a short stay. It's very close to the city center. This is maybe just me, but I am really afraid of gas heaters, and this place had one, but this is very common in Argentina, and I guess it's safe.
• Fernando (10/5): Very Good place to stay in Ushuaia - Well-equipped and confortable apartment. Good location, in downtown and very close to all kind of restaurants and shops, also easy to access and park if you come by car from the airport. The host made the whole process very easy, and I thank him very much for the good tips and recommendations that made my days in Ushuaia much more interesting. If I have the chance to be back in Ushuaia I will choose Ukurj again, and I would also recommend to any family or close friend traveling to Ushuaia.

• Mark (8/5): plenty of space with a very informative owner. - There is plenty of space and it’s nice, sometimes to be out of the main tourist area, and this is only a few blocks up the hill. it’s a little worn with a little bit of minor repairs needed
• Luis (10/5): Great Apartments in Ushuaia - Andrés, the owner, really takes care of his guests. The apartment is conveniently located (two blocks away from the main street and three from the waterfront) and has everything you may need (kitchenette, small living/dining room area, big bedroom and private bathrooms).
• Liat (10/5): Exceptional - Andres the host is the nicest person I've met. My father got injured during one of the trips and Andres helped us with everything we needed. He even came to the hospital to help translate. Even after we left his apartment he stayed in touch with us and made sure we were OK. The apartment was spacious and warm and the kitchen is well equipped. It was amazing. I definitely recommend it to anyone who's staying in Ushuaia. Nothing. Everything was perfect

The place is airy, spacious and has a perfect central location - it's close from a supermarket, restaurants and the port where you can take many great excursions on the Beagle Channel.
