Guest Reviews

- Amanda (9/5): A peaceful and comfortable week in ver picturesque surroundings. - Fantastic views, very peaceful and private. Great facilities like the hot tub, sauna and ice bath. Very comfortable lounge, lovely covered outdoor area. Fridge was quite small meaning we needed to make several trips into town over the week.
- Jay (8/5): Lovely location, nice house, but beware the river crossing if your vehicle has low ground clearance. - Lovely rural location. Quiet. Friendly cows. We stayed in hot weather so the central aircon and ceiling fans were appreciated. Our car (Tesla Model 3) was not able to make the river crossing (in our judgement) to access the property, so we used the alternative access route through farmland which is not really suitable for regular access, as the road is a bit rough and there are two gates to manage. Luckily we could borrow another vehicle for the duration of our stay and could use the normal access. The property listing should provide much more detail about this potential issue - had we arrived in darkness and encountered the river crossing it would have been extremely inconvenient. Although the house was clean in the regularly used parts, the windows etc had years of cobwebs and are in need of a spring clean. Lots of flies and bugs around so you have to keep the house closed up and avoid opening the windows where the fly screens have holes. Most are okay though, so not a problem.
- Karen (10/5): Wonderful place for a quiet relaxing getaway. - It was a lively mid week getaway had all we need loved the inside and outside fires. Tye spa was amazing. Couldn't fault anything. We will be back to try out the new sauna.
- Young (9/5): Superb - A quiet and private place surrounded by the beautiful nature. Restful and peaceful. Nil
- Kasia (8/5): Very good - Wonderful stay, stunning views around the house and the house itself very comfy for two families of four, we had a great time despite wet weather. We enjoyed our stay very much and cannot think of anything that we didn't like.
- Kate (9/5): Superb - Perfect place to stay. Very comfortable. Loved the aspect from the sunroom/bedroom. Would have been good to have a few basic pantry items like oils, tea, salt & pepper etc.
Would also be good to have an extra lounge or seating in main lounge room with the fire rather than arm chairs. So that there is more seating for a larger group.

- Kimberley (9/5): We loved our stay at Longford! Highly recommend staying here for a weekend away to unplug! Our kids had a ball seeing al - The location, close to town, lots of space for 6 people, the sunrises, everything was fantastic Lots of fire wood but no matches or fire starters so we definitely have to bring these next time!
- Toushif (10/5): Exceptional - It was our second time visiting. Love everything about this place. The TV doesn’t let me stream Netflix from my phone.
- Jo-ann (9/5): Superb -
