• Sayan (10/5): Homestay near Sinchel forest gate offered a perfect home away from home experience - This homestay is right before the Sinchel forest gate, leading to Tiger hill. It was the last property on that road. The stay was really nice. The room was small but well-decorated and clean. It could be called a perfect homestay. We saw two porcupines walking by the road in the evening. In the morning, we loved the amazing view of Kanchenjunga and other mountains, valleys, and nearby villages from the roof. The food was excellent. The owner and others were very nice. They really took care of us, especially my child was so happy talking to them. My family and I had a wonderful time during our one-night stay. We didn’t encounter any negative experiences. In fact, we were so impressed that we’ll definitely be staying there again in the future!
• Jyotidiya (9/5): Superb - The location is good and away from the crowded city streets. It is very near to the tigerhill sunrise point. The rooms are clean and the food served is very good. The owner is also very polite. Altogether, the place will give you a very homely feeling.

• Bhaskar (8/5): Decent Stay at an affordable price. - The honestay was quite clean and well decorated. You can spend a hassle free stay for 2 nights at a cheap price. The caretaker (a woman) was much hospitable and she won't bother you at all with frequent visits. However, if you want, she will give you her best service. There are total 4 rooms. The upper floor has two rooms with open balcony but the view from the balcony won't let you see the hills or Mt. Kanchenjunga. The Homestay is connected with wifi. The bathroom was too narrow. It has very little space. There is no one dial telephone service. In case you want to call the maid, you have to either go and call her else dial her no. from your mobile.

• Soumik (10/5): Exceptional, Mesmerising, Inspiring. - Mountain humbles you. - Tashi and Ishmiti Didi worked day and night to throw every drop of care they could toward us. Everyday at breakfast it was different food, Sometimes Tashi Didi also came and made breakfast for us even though she had to leave for her teaching at one of the biggest school in Darjeeling. Also Tashi Didi's Mother was very amicable to talk to since I got to know a lot from her, The history and significance. It was a majestic stay, Definitely planning to visit here for longer period. I can surely call them my family. If you're visiting Darjeeling, Definitely have a stay at this place, You will have a great stay and Tigerhill is just 10 minute from Scooty/Bike or 15 from Car and 45 minute walking. The view that you can get from top of the terrace is exceptional, Since you will get a clear view of Kanchenjunga, Jannu, Kabru Peaks. I would highly recommend this place as you will feel like you have never left your home. I feel like the rush of tourism killed the essence of Darjeeling, I don't have any problem with the stay but the people come here from all around the world. I would request to them that please keep the mountain off from plastics and garbage, this is not your Metro City, Respect the Mountains and It will respect you back.
• Kumar (10/5): Overall very good and caring homestay. - Location is in the road to Tiger hill. 500 metres from Jorebunglow and around 8 km before Darjeeling. Very cool and calm vibes. Owner and Staff is very much caring. Breakfast and dinner was excellent. View from roof is amazing.
• Amitabh (10/5): Exceptional - The property is very cute and homely. It is situated near tiger hill, the most famous tourist attraction in darjeeling. The owner is extremely humble and kind hearted. Even the care taker is very helpful. The home cooked food that they serve is very tasty and worth a try. If the sky is clear, one can witness the kanchenjunga moutain range from the terrace of tigerhill homestay. My stay in tiger hill homestay was very comfortable and I had a pleasant time there.

The warmth, hospitality, comfort, cleanliness, location, food, environment, neighbourhood - everything was exceptional. Out host and care-taker were just so caring! Breakfast was tasty and it felt very homely. On our arrival they gave us black tea and in the cold weather, which was the best! Amazing stay at a very reasonable cost. The room gets very cold due to less sunlight.
