• Kirsty (3/5): Modern caravan but shame about the facilities and cleanliness - Modern caravan, heating was good and plenty of hot water It is not clear that towels are not provided in the accommodation when booking. We arrived late and then had to drive to a supermarket to buy some! You are sent messages to tell you about check in times etc and a note about the towels here would be a minimum expectation. Other reviews have experienced the same issue and so we were not alone. The property is far from clean. Unable to use sofa bed as we felt put off by how dirty it was. No bedding was provided due the quilt to use either. Carpet edges and inside cupboards need a good clean. Caravan appears clean on the surface but it really is not up to standard. Could upload lots of photographs of cleanliness issues but the review only lets me upload 4. I again see other reviews about cleanliness and these are not headed and so I would not recommend staying here.

• Sadie (10/5): - Lovely caravan with a large open living area. Location is very close to Windermere which is why we booked it, also a short walk from heysham village which is a lovely area

• Louie (10/5): Relaxing, great get away, just what we needed :) will be booking again, - Great location, perfectly located on site, nice and quiet. Set out great, comfy bed, cosey and warm. WiFi was glitchy, but that doesn’t matter, great weekend with the Mrs and dog.

• prior (8/5): Spacious caravan - Generally well appointed, quiet location and good facilities nearby. Bedding was provided but no towels. The property was so well appointed otherwise it did not occur to me that towels wouldn't be there, though I realised upon checking that the description did not mention towels. It wouldn't have been an issue if we'd known to bring some, so perhaps a specific note that you need to supply your own would be helpful for future guests.

• Sarah (9/5): Sarah with Mum and Daphne (the mini cockerpoo) Sept 2025 - It was my second time staying here with my elderly Mother and small dog. The decor and layout is excellent. Check in is easy and the caravan is very well equipped with everything you need. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Even when the weather took a nasty turn, it was still a nice place to be as it was cosy. When it was a bit more sunny, we could sit on the decking, which is lovely. The position on the park is excellent as it has lawned areas on each side and is on quiet cul-de-sac, near the walking path, and very close to the little shop and clubhouse. We liked everything! I did have to Google how to turn the heating on, on the last day, but it was fine as I worked it out.

The host was excellent at keeping in touch, I would highly recommend The didn’t realise there wouldn’t be any toilet roll at all on arrival and the shop on site wasn’t stocked very well and we couldn’t buy any from there at all during our stay 🤦‍♀️
• Jessica (8/5): A lovely nights stay with family - The caravan is lovely, very spacious, well equipped you have basically everything you need, extremely close to all the amenities, a nice outdoor space for enjoying the sun, the double bed and the two singles are probably the comfiest beds I’ve slept in outside my own :) tvs in every room with dvd port also plenty of dvds to choose from, also board games which we really enjoyed, my dad really adored it and didn’t want to leave , overall a really good stay. Even though the caravan is lovely and reasonably Clean I do think it could do with a deep clean inside and out, the sofa bed mattress is really thin and worn, the spare blanket has a large yellow stain and no cover on it, quite a few spiders and cob webs around, the rug on the front terrace is absolutely falling to bits and is quite the trip hazard.
• Shara (10/5): Perfect family stay! - Myself, partner, 2 year old and our dog had a lovely stay in this caravan, lots of space for us all and a fab location. The caravan was clean and comfy, and had nice homely additions such as plenty of throws on the sofas. My little girl especially liked the nemo stickers in the shower! We will definitely be visiting again! Everything was fantastic!

• Kaye (7/5): Good - Lovely Stay at Oceans Edge – Just a Few Small Niggles We had a really nice break at Oceans Edge. The caravan was lovely – very cosy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. There were just a few small things that could’ve made the stay even better. A few pieces of cutlery weren’t completely clean when we arrived, including the baking trays , The entertainment facilities weren’t open during our stay – it would’ve been helpful to know that in advance. Maybe the photos on Booking.com could be updated to reflect this. Also, the sofa bed wasn’t the most comfortable for sleeping, All in all, we still had a great time and really enjoyed the peaceful setting. With just a few tweaks, it would’ve been perfect! Good value for money and still a lovely stay x
• Deborah (4/5): Disappointing - Great shower & amount of drawers & cupboard space Hairs in single beds Carpets not vacced properly Food marks on crockery and bowls Black hairs in shared bathroom Radiator dirty in ensuite and both bathroom radiators are pitted with rust Toothpaste stain on bath mat Stains on seats in main bedroom and the dining chairs No instructions anywhere, only site rules and no information about the site or where to find external site bins Only 1 toilet roll provided for each bathroom, could do with some spares Bed sheets don't fit properly - need sheet corner grips to hold in place Bedding is old & grubby looking Blankets - two had what looked like dog biscuits stuck to them You might benefit from mattress No cleaning products provided in the kitchen which would encourage holidaymakers to keep the place clean

• Andrew (10/5): great stay - everything was great in the caravan plus provided WiFi ,TV in every room ,board games . we booked literally the night before but was no issue . made booking inn really easy with great communication and put you at ease and also has a direct number if any concerns or problems which we did not but is helpful if you did need .
• Heather (9/5): Great stay and wonderful hosts! - Great location and really peaceful as out of holiday times. Site had a fire a couple of weeks ago so all facilities were closed but didn't matter to us as we used accomodation as a base. The van was clean but there were some areas that had been missed.

• Sarah (9/5): Superb - The fixtures and decor within the caravan were excellent. It was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Having 2 bathrooms was a great bonus, and the decking area was fantastic. It was in a great location on the park in a very quiet cul de sac right near to the Central facilities.
• Happy (9/5): An amazingly helpful host 😁 - The caravan is beautiful, Stacy the host was so helpful and lovely when the gas bottle went, came round straight away and changed it, stayed chatting to, such a lovely woman, access to the beach is so easy near the power station, the club house put on a free pirate panto which was great. The wifi. Even the park dean site wifi didnt work! Which isnt the host's fault. But being on holiday, good family fun without technology for me has a Adult was great, the kids wasn't one bit happy thou 🤣

• Ruth (4/5): Disappointing - Caravan was nice The park was very noisy especially at night, didn't sleep well at all due to holiday makers in nearby caravan, tracker pulled up at 9, am one morning after having no sleep to remove a caravan behind the one we were staying in, kept revving it up to pull the caravan of its site,dog poo all over, sorry to say but this has to be the worst holiday we've had, would definitely not recommend.

• Sarah (8/5): Brilliant little get away - We enjoyed our 3 night stay at oceans edge , lovely caravan great location nice and close to the entertainment facilities. Perfect for children lots of games and DVDS in the caravan . Will definitely be returning .

• Lucas (10/5): We would used site again but not eat In restaurant - Caravan suited family needs well equipped and comfortable great condition of the van park facilities adequate and in a good location Had food In restaurant Monday night 26th June to celebrate my wife’s birthday to find that one of the condiment’s ( tomato sauce ) suspected that it had been tampered with this ruined the meals We handed the sauce bottle to staff behind the bar they were very sorry this left us with burning throats and upset stomach’s we ended up leaving a day early this did spoil the holiday
