Guest Reviews
- Rosemary (8/5): Tranquil - Very clean, , well equipped.. Tasteful I am old and the step into Beekeepers was an effort also unable to have shower or bath becausep no grab rails. This was just unfortunate for myself. The bungalow was perfect otherwise.
- Thelma (7/5): -
- Lisa mountford (10/5): Visiting Family and ideal location - Felt like home from home, well equipped, very quiet. Bungalow was spacious with good bathroom facilities. We will definitely stay again
- IAN (8/5): Excellent value, very clean and well equipped. - Very clean and well-presented property with excellent self-catering facilities. Loveley quite place with a little river running just outside. Nothing.
- Kirsty (10/5): Lovely - It was in a really quiet location The beds were a little bit uncomfortable
- Amanda (10/5): - Very spacious and the little extras like extra blankets and well equipped kitchen. Very clean. Nothing
- Jacqueline (3/5): Mixed Review - The overall accommodation was lovely the facilities were excellent it had everything you wanted It was very very cold the heating system was inadequate for the cold weather the cottage didn't heat up and we were freezing we were ready to leave by day 2 really spoilt our Christmas
- Tracey (9/5): Home away from home - Like home
Everything we needed was provided No complaints at all!
- Natalie (10/5): Fantastic Stay - Lovely little place. Everything you could need and want. Great location. Great info on walks nearby. Kindly left some milk and snacks for our arrival. Beds comfy, and the cottage was nice and warm when we arrived back from our days out.
- Jayne Dooley (10/5): -
- Keith (10/5): - Great self contained cottage. Everything you need supplied.
Beside a relaxing bubbling Brook. The weather!!!!!
- Miguel (10/5): Very nice bungalow to stay with family. Clean, tidy and it comes with everything you need. - Peaceful environment Internet signal was weak
- Rudo (8/5): Beautiful stay - We really enjoyed our stay at the holiday home, Very peaceful and very comfortable home. The WiFi connection is very unstable.
Another thing, there was a foul smell coming from the drainage pipes in the bathroom.
- Jonathan (8/5): -
- Gemma (10/5): - The property was very cosy. Area very quiet. Loved waking up next to a running stream. Lovely little seating area outside.
Close to most places.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - Very comfy cottage ,had everything we needed in it ,exceptionally clean and LOVED the bees Maybe a fan 🤔
- Sandra (9/5): Superb - Lovely finishing touches, great communication with Peter/host My 9yr old nephew was with us and wanted to watch TV in bed but neither of the TV's in the bedroom worked as theres no signal
- Nikki (10/5): A 🐝 beautiful retreat. - What a perfect location, quiet, clean, well set out, everything was there for a perfect stay. Comfy bed, babbling brook outside the bedroom window. Plenty of hot water, towels, bedding. Could not have asked for anything better. Very intermittent wifi and no washing machine but that didn't stop a very lovely holiday. Hand washing was an option, so wasn't too much of an issue.
- L (10/5): Cute cottage in lovely location - The host provided a bowl of snacks and bottled waters in fridge Nothing
- Joanna (9/5): A beautiful and relaxing holiday made even better with a thoughtful host - We loved the property and the tranquility of the location with the stream at the back. The thought that had gone into the provision of equipment and little touches was brilliant! The Easter egg and crisps were lovely!
The cottage had everything it was a beautiful visit! The only thing was the ceiling vent which blew cool air onto the dogs in the lounge all night and we couldnt turn it off.
- Emma (8/5): A lovely week away,Would stay at Beekeepers cottage again, the hosts were very helpful and answered any queries promptly - Lovely property, very comfortable living room Double mattress a bit thin for us
- Ian (9/5): Lovely location and theme - Very clean, nice bathroom, comfortable. I liked the theme! It is lovely and quiet at night. Thoughtful to provide a gift of milk in the fridge and some snacks. 🙂 Possibly recently refurbished. Great location, and it is very handy to visit places in Cornwall. The lack of a washing machine was the only home comfort absent. It wasn't an issue for me for 4 nights, but for a family's longer stay may be. Wifi (voucher provided) broadband failed on 4th day, not the owner's fault, campingconnect hadn't fixed it after over 24 hours.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - We enjoyed another lovley stay at Beekeepers Cottage, property is beautifully presented and immaculately clean, quiet, peaceful location for a relaxing break.
- Carrie (10/5): Fabulous stay defo will use again 😁 - The property was really cute the little bumble bees theme we loved it…nice and tidy we also had fresh milk and 2 bottles of water and some little snacks left for us on arrival which we found really nice would defo recommend for those with a small family or couple With us going the time of year when it’s cold we found the heating was not very good to warm the cottage up would recommend the hosts looking into it for the near future but it was fine we just doubled up with layers on a night
- Gill (10/5): We came to Cornwall to meet family and friends and the accommodation made it worth while - Accommodation was exceptional Nothing everything was superb
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Megan (7/5): It was lovely place to stay but the WiFi connection could of been better that’s my only concern - The location was lovely have stayed there before but in different lodge That it was peaceful
- Emma (9/5): Great little place to stay and would stay again. - Spacious enough for us. Easy to find. Spacious kitchen, had plenty for us to use to make meals. Lovely and warm. Nicely decorated. Roads around Liskeard are a little hard to navigate due to lack of street lighting so after dark car rides were a little scary. The mattress on the main bed was a little thin and I could feel the bed underneath but it didn't stop me sleeping.
- Julie (10/5): Relaxing, Restful, Stay. - property was beautifully presented, warm and cozy, loved the sparkly bathroom, big fluffy towels, comfy bed, sound of babbling Brook at back of property, we had a lovley stay at Bumblebee Cottage, would love to come back and would recommend this property for a wonderful stay. Nothing.
- Karen (9/5): A great week family holiday in a beautiful location - The location is beautiful we had the lovely stream at the back. Love the bee theme throughout. Great size for 3 of us. The leather settee is really damaged but has a throw covering.
- Barry (10/5): Another great stay in Cornwall - Simple layout but spacious, good location to explore from Storage heaters are a bit of a faff but not detrimental to the stay
- Mathew (10/5): Exceptional - Clean, affordable and helpful owners We had to go home 😔
- Brian (10/5): Exceptional - It was a lovely bungalow and had everything we needed. It was all in great condition. The sweet, subtle themed touches were delightful. Peter was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much.
