• Royer (10/5): - Yurgo, le propriétaire, est super sympa. L’accueil était top et de très bons conseils. Si vous arrivez du ferry, contactez le d’abord car le chemin indiqué par Google map n’est pas du tout optimal, Yurgo vous expliquera comment venir plus facilement. L’appart n’est pas si près du centre historique de Hvar, mais bonus, la plus belle plage des environs est à 10 minutes à pieds à condition d’être prêt à une mini rando 😊
• Benthe (9/5): Ontzettend aan te raden - Locatie was heel fijn, buiten de drukte maar op loopafstand van alles. Jarko is een van de aardigste hosts die we hebben gehad, we hebben zijn eigen gemaakte wijn geproefd, hij was super vriendelijk en heeft ons in verband met de regen ook naar de haven gebracht. Daarnaast hadden we een prachtig uitzicht over Hvar. Alles was top! We miste alleen een snijplank als je misschien een avondje wilt koken.

Posebno nas je oduševio domaćin Jurko, koji je svojom ljubaznošću i susretljivošću nadmašio sva naša očekivanja. Topla preporuka svima koji žele ugodan i bezbrižan boravak.

• Susanna (9/5): - La cordialità e disponibilità dei proprietari. Le belle terrazze, siamo stati sia in quella con vista verso mare che quella sul retro ma affacciata a un bel giardino mediterraneo. La pulizia impeccabile. Anche se la casa si trova nella parte nuova di Hvar città ci vogliono 10 minuti a piedi per arrivare nella zona storica.

The location is easy to find, and the highlight was definitely the sunset view from the balcony—absolutely beautiful. Jurko, the host, was incredibly kind and helpful, offering great recommendations and making sure we had everything we needed for our three-night stay. A relaxing spot with warm hospitality! One tip: don’t rely on Google Maps to get to the apartment—it tends to lead you up the steepest route possible. Instead, ask Jurko in advance for the best way to get there. He’ll guide you on a much nicer 10–15 minute walk around the water, followed by a short uphill stretch. Totally worth it for the view and experience.
• Eamon (10/5): 10/10 stay in Hvar - Perfect location situated between the town centre but also a really nice beach. The room was perfect, clean and had everything you needed. The balcony was such a nice addition and had the best view of the sunset. Jurko was an amazing host and provided us with great recommendations. He even dropped us to the ferry port when we left which was so lovely.

Jurko was great host , telling us local information about the area and picking us up from the port and returning us was a great help with our luggage. The apartment is basic but clean and had great air conditioning and a lovely balcony to sit on . It’s a 15 minute stroll into central Hvar. Could do with new bed linen and towels

Our apartment was extremely clean, and the view was wonderful. But the biggest surprise was the host, Jurko who's hospitality was the best I have ever experienced. He helped us with all sorts of things and became our best friend in this beautiful island.

• Bihari (9/5): Superb - The apartment had a picturesque view from the big terrace and it was in 15 minutes walking distance from the city-center. Jurko, the host was a very friendly guy, nice to chit-chat with, he put all the effort to give tips on where to eat out and where to go to the beach. The only unpleasant experience was that due to some communication problem I didn't get the apartment I booked but in exchange Jurko offered me another apartment with a bigger terrace. I recommend Jurko to pay a little bit more attention to details and the guests' personal needs as we pay a lot for the service. However his personal charm and positive attitude made me forget the swap of the apartment by the end of my vacation.

Perfect stay just outside of the centre. A beautiful 15 minute walk by the sea if you did want to go to the centre. Beautiful beaches nearby.

He even gave us a lift with our bags after checking out to the ferry port. Shower was good and outdoor areas was nice and big. Bed was comfortable. Apartment is closely located to the town. We were not aware that we had to pay for our stay in cash and we think this should’ve been made clear upon booking. The fridge was not very good, it didn’t go very cold. The balcony was fully open at the side to next door’s apartment and could use a privacy screen.

• Elise (9/5): Really good view on Hvar - The owner of this accommodation was really friendly! Gave us a selfmade bottle of wine. We had a room with a big balcony, so good view (and sunset) on Hvar! The AC works really well. It’s a 15 - 20 minute walk to city center (downhill). The accommodation looks a bit old, also the bathroom is a bit small.

It was a very good location, just a ten minute walk from Hvar port and less than a five minute walk from two supermarkets and a number of lovely restaurants. There are also a number of beautiful beaches near the apartment. The balcony was also very large and a fantastic view of the sea and sunset.

Jurko was so good and collected us from and dropped us to the ferry with our bags. There is no aircon in the bedroom, but if you leave the aircon from the sitting room on and bedroom door open it keeps the place cool.

He was fab for giving recommendations and he even met us at the bus station before our ferry with our bags to save us walking back up. Also, to note, it is pay in cash on arrival which isn’t very clear on booking.com but Jurko was really understandable and happy for us to pay at any time during our stay! Nothing - all lovely!

Top host - We had a really good stay and will recommend this apartment. 1 big kitchen, 1 big living room, 3 big bedrooms, 3 ok bathrooms and 1 big terrace with a fantastic view and sunset. 5 min walk to the local store, 10 min to the beach and 10 min to Hvar City. The host Jurko picked us up at arrival and drove our baggage to the port upon departure. Top service!

We stayed in a studio with a sea view balcony from where we could enjoy the beautiful sunset whilst having some wine. the studio had everything we needed and was perfect for the two of us. the walk to the city centre was only about 10 minutes and there is a shop only 5 minutes away. would definitely stay again!
• Anna (10/5): Fantastic stay at Hvar 🏝 - Our host Jurko was amazing..so friendly and helpful with tips on our stay. He picked us up from the bus stop and dropped us off at the ferry port, which was so kind. The apartment is in a lovely spot with sea and mountain views from the balcony. It is a short walk from the centre of Hvar and all its attractions.. watching the sunset over the ocean was magical. The only thing I would suggest is a few more kitchen items like cutting board and larger mug and larger frypan.
• Shaun (10/5): Quiet, Comfortable and Great View Above Hvar Town - We loved this stay in Hvar Town! The location of Apartments Dobrila is a short walk, about 12 minutes (and with several flights of steps), down to the center, but well worth it for the quiet terrace and amazing water views, especially at sunset. Host Jurko is charming and very attentive, a genuinely nice guy. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, very nice and fully appointed. Don't miss "Mustaco" beach, a stony path down from the apartment, but *so great* - swim in the Adriatic, splendid. It's tough to find any negatives - Be aware that the walk up from town to the apartment is a modest climb and would be a work out with heavy bags. Host Jurko picked us up from the bus station, so we had no problem whatsoever. Or, take a cab, easy and short drive.

• Angel (9/5): Superb - The location on the top of the mountain allow u to have a good view, although u have to walk for 10 minutes to downcenter. The terrace was so good. The is a a place for parking. And the attention of Jorge. He cares of u so well! It would be great to have a bin in the kitchen, and little kitchen paper for drying plates and hands. The TV could be bigger. Card payment would be a plus.
