Guest Reviews
- Graeme (9/5): Enormous comfortable space in the perfect Central location with stunning views and good facilities. - Huge place , amazing location , massive rooms and tons of space . really brilliant for a large family like ours we will book again every time we all come to Oban which is at least twice a year The building is big and obviously very old . the management company should definitely clean up and repaint the very old and worn access door from the street and clean the stair well, and clean the windows , (but logistically very difficult due to the height and access ref the windows) Seriously for the excellent quality of the accommodations and all the old features and incredible views the front door does not do it justice at all. A simple lick of paint is all it would take . No hair dryer was unfortunate for the girls as we were over for a wedding. one small TV only not ideal especially in such big rooms.
- Jacky (10/5): - Beautiful building, just stunning interior, loved it.
- Bruce (10/5): The perfect place to explore Oban from. - Location and facilities/ size - fantastic! Nil
- Hunter (9/5): As a group of family and friends we had the best time and left with lots of fantastic memories. - The location is fantastic. The views over the bay are gorgeous. The apartment is beautifully furnished. The beds are very comfortable.
Although on a busy road, we weren't really aware of the traffic. Perfectly placed in Oban.
The hosts are very responsive. Nothing to dislike.
- Carianne (10/5): -
- Inma (8/5): very comfortable, lived up to our expectations - space , big rooms , views the sinks of toilets a bit small although we understand they are old , needed more shelves the bathrooms for wash bags etc, limited wifi
- Jenna (9/5): -
- Kellogg (10/5): Great house, excellent location -
- Mannon (10/5): Exceptional - Stunning and immaculate apartment in an ideal location. The views are amazing!
The apartment is so well equipped with everything that you could possibly need and more!. There are 47 steps up to the apartment and no lift. This caused some difficulty for my elderly father, and we also had to carry a pram up and down the stairs. The apartment would not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
- Sandra (10/5): Exceptional - Big would say massive and clean apartment. Very nice view from window Bathroom- hot water, just 1 person can have a bath, later only cold water. And no free parking space near, 18 £ per day
- Julia (8/5): Would return. - Very large, Spacious Flat/House, great views, very central, very good quality furnishings, Wonderful plumber called Greg who despite having finished for the day, came around to fix a problem with hot water. Bit short on toilets for 10 people, bathrooms and shower rooms could easily accommodate toilets in them.
Great exercise every time you leave and return to flat.
Master bedroom has a leak in roof, I was told that the new owners are very proactive and will sort this problem by Greg the plumber.
Showers were great, but need bleached and resealed.
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional -
- Emily (9/5): Amazing apartment, beautiful views. Well kitted out and very clean. - Location and views amazing, Space in the apartment was incrediable Parking was a challenge, it what in the Rockfield centre and that is a busy carpark
- Angela (9/5): Great holiday location for large groups - Quiet convenient location. Superb accomodation- very spacious. Comfortable rooms. Fully equipped kitchen. Quality new furniture and colour coordinated decor. Comfortable beds. New carpets throughout.
Efficient heating system. Stunning views. Leaking roll top bath. Mini flood/ water damage to master bedroom during stay. Smell of damp and water damage in piano lounge.
The steps!!!
