The beds were comfortable, and the apartment had everything we needed for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The location was great, with easy access to local amenities and transport. Communication with the host was smooth and efficient throughout, and everything was well organised. Overall, a very enjoyable experience – we would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and reliable place to stay. The sofa bed was quite soft and not very comfortable for sleeping.

• Elizabeth (10/5): - Nice cosy Apartment close to where we wanted to be & everything we needed for our stay, plus a folder was on hand with instructions on everything I needed to know. There was nothing we didnt like

• Wendy (10/5): Weekend away - Very clean, immaculately presented accommodation. Perfect for what we needed. Potentially could have had some condiments such as salt and pepper in the cupboard that is my only suggestion
• Debs (7/5): Good value for money - Good location. Allocated parking with instructions to ensure we parked in the right place. Flat was clean, tidy & comfortable. Very quiet area & no noise from any neighbours. Could do with more waste bins, especially in the bathroom area. Also, floor cloths/mop would be good to clean up spillages. Unusual to not have kitchen essentials, such as dish cloth & kitchen towel.

• Aga (8/5): Enjoyable stay in Ashington - Good wee base if you have a car as lots to see in the area. Comfortable flat, with maybe a few bits and bobs missing in the kitchen and bathroom but asda nearby and plenty other shops so we stocked up. The owners provided useful info. Nice warm flat too and that's handy in the temperament weather. Not much to say there. It did what it said on the tin. Some fixtures particularly in the bathroom need to be looked at but it didn't make affect our stay, maybe something for the future so the flat keeps serving others as well as it served us.
• Berry (8/5): Very good - Easy access and great location for our engineers work project. Comfortable and well equipped. Definitely would stay again and hosts communicated well.

Wifi provided and great selection of entertainment subscriptions on the TV The cleanliness of the apartment, it felt very tired. The radiators were marked and the dust inside the kitchen radiator in particular was terrible. The bedroom rails were dusty as were the bedside tables like they hadn’t been cleaned properly and there was also a hoody left on the back of the master bedroom door. The toilet roll holder fell off. Also no dish cloth to hand wish dishes were needed and more than one tea towel would have been beneficial.

• Sharon (9/5): Good base for coast - Have been here before. Good location. Helpful owners. Comfortable property and close to coast road etc When I had a problem understanding the heating and unintentionally caused problems John came over to fix it. New fridge freezer so unlike last time you could stand milk up in door tray. Minor niggles Needs another ovenproof dish. One isn’t always enough. No matter how many times I go I can’t understand or work the tv remote control (I’m not used to all the different types ) and end up watching tv on my iPad. To get into the bin store you need to put code into padlock and then press button at base of padlock. I had to get help from passing resident
• Katie (8/5): Visit to friends - The communication was very good and there were very clear instructions on checking in and out of the property. The apartment was in an ideal location for us, close to the friends we were visiting. The biggest issue we had was that we had to open the kitchen window and struggled to get it closed again afterwards. We nearly had to contact to owners to help. The shower is also not very powerful and the temperature of the water was also a little chilly.

• Sharon (8/5): Nice clean apartment close to the coast - This was our second stay. Handy for the coast. Good size and very reasonable price as we had left it late to book for the bank holiday and reasonably close to amenities and main roads so easy to get to. Comfortable and well furnished. Some road noise as it’s opposite the hospital but the apartment block is very quiet Dishwasher and washing machine available , Wi-Fi many different tv options though a few instructions on using the tv handset would be useful. One parking space though I’m not sure where we would have parked a second car if my sister had come up separately The shelves on the fridge door were missing so to put the milk carton and fruit juice cartons upright we had to remove a glass shelf which was a bit of a hassle then having to pile things up on the remaining two shelves . Something had spilled in the microwave and had not been cleaned up but was quickly fixed. Maybe a few more kitchen utensils would be helpful but only minor (extra oven proof dish, table spoon etc) and maybe small hoover in case of spills

• Sharon (9/5): Lovely convenient apartment would stay again - Good position for the coast road and beach at Newbiggin. There was road noise and it’s opposite a hospital but the apartment block was very quiet. There is one parking bay. The apartment was warm ( we could have done with a little more info about working the controls). There was a spacious lounge/diner with a large sofa and the kitchen had a lot of resources (dishwasher/microwave/washing machine with capsules and washing up liquid provided) and tea/coffee sachets and small amounts of milk The tv had access to a lot of different channels and services such as Netflix though I couldn’t fully understand the remote control. Beds were comfortable and the apartment was clean. Nothing really except a few niggles. A bin bag would have been good though I had brought some resources just in case so we managed and the dishwasher was hard to open as the handle was slightly damaged and the fridge door trays had cracks in both.
• S (9/5): Cracking place - Nice clean apartment, smart TV and strong like bull WiFi 😄. Place has it's own off street parking bay. Heating was a little bit difficult to master, I'm sure it was very obvious what to do, but it seemed to have a mind of it's own. But it's definitely not a show stopper. I would definitely stay again
